You will not find other skills like this in the area. She has what I suspect is both a 6th sense when it comes to locating pain, as well as really superb training. Lori applies just the right amount of pressure, and can work medium-lightly as well as doing very thorough deep tissue work. One of the other pluses--besides being very responsive to requests & attuned to pain-- is her gentle and soothing personality. Thinking It'd go away it turned into muscle soreness from compensating from sitting at work. This made me avoid the gym, which was terrible, mental and physically. I had been going to another chiropractor off and on and was recommended by my chiro to go to Dr. Jason Mavor who's local to me. I called for an appointment and got my registrations emailed to me for so I could fill them before hand. I even got an appointment same day I called! Stopping in the office I was quickly greeted and got right into the adjustment. Dr. Mavor (prefers to go by Jason) talked with me first about my concerns and I told him what was going on. And even about my hip injury from before that had kept me from squatting deep for months and he went to work. The adjustment was excellent. It was the type of adjustment that you break a flash sweat because the target areas are getting worked. My back my shoulder my hip all took adjustments! He even showed me how to do some exercises to help loosen and prepare for my workouts. 3 days later I was back in the gym. I just got my 2nd adjustment and he said I'm recovering extremely fast. I feel great, better than I have in awhile and I really thank Jason for it.

I also recently tore a muscle in my forearm. After multiple visits to my PCP and PT with no results, I visited Dr. Mavor. I wish I had met him sooner as my 6 weeks of PCP and PT visits let me still hurt and feeling hopeless about my recovery. I *highly* recommend Dr. Mavor. I am a serious athlete and Dr. Mavor helped me to transition back to training (as opposed to the complete rest my doc and PT had suggested). His Graston technique work eased my arm pain after just two sessions, so that I could ease back into my workouts. Dr. Mavor is very available by phone and in-person. I don't take on all new patients but you I wanted because you're going to test all 39 years of my experience" and w'll get you in here 3x/wk and see where you're at- either 75% better or 10% better and we'll re-assess and see where we're at." Perfect, I thought! I'm so excited! so excited I was sharing this news with everyone I encountered. I went twice, two days in a row, and was scheduled for a 3rd day in a row but I canceled due to new pain. I have never had lower back pain until he said my lower back was mid-aligned and I trusted him and his professional opinions and I laid in his hands. That night, after day 2, i was on the floor crying. I felt like the wind was knocked out of me and like I was going to throw up. throbbing pulsing pain. chat gpt told me to go to the emergency room. I messaged the office about my new pain, asked how to get out of the pain and went to bed instead of the ER. the following day, i called to get communication on this. she recommended I come in to be adjusted- keep the appointment. alarm bells in my head were going off- no-this is wrong- don't go. I was trusting they knew what was best for me. (5 days later to today-it still hurts btw...it shouldn't hurt more than one day) and I had an appointment today that I just came from. I just tried asking him well, maybe it didn't need to be aligned and you did and so it got angry and needs to heal. he reccomended that I come back tomorro. I tried pushing the opinions of others out of my head. as I was sharing my excitement about this new journey, I was warmed-NO. PAUL IS A FARM. he gets people in and out in and out, in and out. today i tried understanding what was happening and why he was suggesting multiple days in a row- even when working out you need to rest those muscles to let the body heal. adjust. I was mentioning this and he got defensive. arms went up and across his body giving closed off body language and he started getting labored breathing. I apologized for questioning his experience however at the same time I only get one body and I'm just trying to get information and do what's best for it. I need to communicate to better understand. this upset him. he didn't like my questiones and responded very condescending. told me "ok fine don't come tomorrow, don't get better" i was shocked at how he was handling my questions about pain. not once did I say he aligned me incorrectly but he was defensive regardless and even said I didn't do it wrong. I had to explain I never thought that, only maybe my lower back didn't need an alignment. again-he only smiled and continued to cross his arms. I felt like he just wanted my insurance money. this interaction solidified that concern. I then tried better understanding the situation at the front desk, lisa, she couldn't care less that I had new pain, caused from the alignmen. not to mention I said my left collarbone was funky. he aligned the right collarbone. when I asked about ok what about the left side where it hurts? he said, "oh. I thought you said the right-good thing this isn't surgery"

When I originally made an appointment, I requested a date and time online and was quickly contacted by Dr. Lehane directly. This isn't something I've experienced with any doctors office before, excellent service! At the appointment, Dr. Lehane was very approachable and took the time to explain what was going on with my back and what the treatment plan would be. After the first adjustment, I already felt relief of my back pain. Obviously results will vary patient to patient but this was huge for me. I have frequently had the late appointments or even the last appointment of the day and I have never felt rushed. I really appreciate Dr. Lehane's holistic approach to care and there has been absolutely no pressure to make frequent appointments just to collect a copay (I have heard of this tactic being done at other practices).
