Amazing chiropractors at In8wellness. I had neck surgery in 1984. Dr Ryan found the cause in 2006 why I still had issues daily that limited normal activities! My neck was curved backwards! He corrected the issue so I have had no restrictions in life that I was even able to join CrossFit! Recently I had an old injury come up with my knees limiting my climbing stairs. In8wellness invested in Soft-wave equipment. I have had a series of soft-wave treatments on my left knee that I am able to hike again without pain and kneel on the floor. I am able to climb stairs again without pain! Working on my other knee now! If you are in need please look no further. I'm a bit belated writing this review, but this place literally saved my boyfriend's life. We live in Colorado and were in town for his best friend's wedding and to his dismay, the day of, he woke up with excruciating neck pain (I know it, I've slipped a disc in my neck twice and literally sitting up, walking, any kind of movement will send you into flinching agonizing pain) so I started calling around and found this place. Having had chiropractic issues myself for many years I explained that we needed to be seen and he would need an adjustment that day (often chiropractors will make you do an initial exam then have you come back another day for an adjustment). I informed the receptionist that we had to drive to New Hampshire in a few hours and he was in the wedding and would be no good without treatment. She kindly asked the doc and told us to come in. We got the xrays the doc needed to see what was going on in his neck and he let us know it looked like Rob was having severe spasms in his neck. One good adjustment and Rob was fine. He took a few hours to get back to 100%, but I did the drive and he was able to look out the window without wincing in pain. This place is beyond 100%, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. If I could give more excellent reviews I would. We ended up going to a beautiful wedding and having a beautiful time all of which would have been disastrously worse without this clinic. Also the plane ride home 2 days later would have been utter misery. My only regret? I wish I had also gotten an adjustment because it looked like it felt amazing and my jealousy of my boyfriend's adjustment is literally the only negative I have. Did I mention that they squeezed us in over lunch? They did. If you are looking for QUALITY chiropractic care look no further. I cannot write enough positive adjectives to describe this place. It started with a tingling in my arm. For anyone who has suffered with this, it is unbelievably debilitating. I had a 'crick' in my neck which I think caused the subsequent tingle. After a month or two of getting progressively worse I could no longer turn my head or use my arm. My neck was too stiff and it was too painful to move my head. My arm was so weak I was literally holding it up, crossed under my chest, with my other arm. My Primary gave me a diagnosis of Spondylosis (degenerative osteoarthritis) in my neck and told me there was nothing to do about it; perhaps I should try stretching exercises. My sister kept telling me to see a chiropractor and a Yelp search brought me through the doors of MVWC. Best. Decision. Ever. If you're expecting fluffy perks like hot towels or a neck rub you may be disappointed. This place is definitely not about show, it is, however, all about treatment. Professional massages are available if needed but it's a separate appointment. Dr. Ryan is very thorough in identifying the problem areas of your spine. Do not be surprised if he asks you about an undisclosed ailment associated with what he sees in your x-rays. I had no idea how many of my issues were directly related to my spine. I thought it was a part of getting older, my new normal. After the assessment, begins the treatment plan; some number of visits for a period of time. Visits are literally 5 minutes. Waiting time is less than that, bonus for those of us on a tight schedule. At first I thought "how is this going to fix anything?" One week (3 visits) and my neck pain was gone. Completely. After completing my suggested length of therapy (4 or so months and it did take all of that time)- no more tingling, strength was back to my old 'normal'. I rarely recommend anything or even find time to write reviews. But this is definitely worthy of my time if it helps anyone who is living in pain, or has to live with loss of function of limbs, digestive system, etc. Give MVWC a call. I found Merrimack Valley Wellness Center through Groupon a year ago. Dr Ryan suggested me sign up a year program for my back problem. He promised the adjustments would eventually help me get rid of my back pain. However, after a year I spent $2000+ and still have my back pain. Each adjustment was extremely quick. Dr only spent less than 5 minutes adjusting my spine (Many people are scheduled within the same 15 minutes). He just did two adjustments and that's all. He didn't usually ask if my symptoms released or not after the last adjustment. He just talked something else but the treatment. Recently I changed to another chiropractor, he is 100 times better than Dr Ryan. More knowledgeable, focused on my problem and spend so much time adjusting my spine as well as strength my muscles. I feel so much better even only after three adjustments now. I have to they have very welcoming atmosphere. People there are very nice and friendly. read more
