I was referred to him from a family member after my chiropractor retired. I had seen my chiropractor for almost 15 years. I am a nurse and have chronic neck and back issues. The intake process was pleasant and long. Received X-rays, which being in the medical field felt the machine was old and outdated. After waiting for over an hour talking with the intake staff I asked if I'd be seeing the doctor. They told me I would need to make another appointment. I was pretty frustrated and told them didn't realize I wouldn't actually be seen. At that point they were able to get me a few minutes with the doctor. Dr Martone was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. I specifically told him I did not want my neck manually manipulated. Which basically means him twisting my neck and cracking it, or adjusting it. I told him I had it done before and did not feel well after. In addition had taken care of a young woman who had manually manipulation done by a chiropractor and ended up with a carotid dissection and a massive stroke. Dr Martone assured me he would not do manual manipulation. He stood behind me and placed his hands on my head and neck and did exactly what I asked him not to do. I immediately felt sick to my stomach and asked why he did that. His reply was "well don't you feel better?" I did not. I promptly left the office and have not returned. As a nurse with more than 30 years of experience I was amazed at Dr. Martone's unprofessional behavior and arrogance. I honestly felt that the whole experience felt cult like in nature and really felt badly for the patients sitting in the waiting room. I have mentored and worked with hundreds of doctors in my career and to have someone lie to me and do something I asked not to be done to me only supports the uneasy feeling Dr Martone gave me. I would not recommend Dr Martone to others.

I have had back problems since I was 14 following two stress fractures in my lower spine. I started seeing Dr. Abbey back in October for adjustments to keep everything in proper working order so as to avoid ever injuring myself in such a way again. SHE IS AMAZING! She is knowledgeable, kind and so sweet. I always leave feeling like a new person and find that I sleep better, work out more effectively and in better form, and overall feel so much healthier after having seen her. (What really sealed the deal: the only time I have ever been kept waiting for an appointment, Dr. Abbey was running behind adjusting the patient before me... a golden retriever!!!) If seeing a chiropractor has ever crossed your mind, whether to alleviate pain from an injury, treat headaches, or to simply improve your overall well-being, I highly recommend Dr. Abbey!

In September I was in for 10 days. So when I got home I was having a problem walking, I thought my legs got weak. I did 6 weeks of physical therapy with absolutely NO improvement! I wasn't able to stand for more than 10 minutes, or walk, with burning in my calves. I could not work, food shop, anything. I had been riding a stationary bike for 30 minutes twice a day and that went down to 3 minutes twice a day. My legs went numb. My heart doc had me get a spine CT, and they said it is most likely caused by my back. I had a motorcycle accident back in 2006, I didn't even take that into consideration, and totally forgot all about it. My doc wanted me to have a test, that I saw my dad had about 5 years ago. After seeing him scream while this test was done I asked if I could go to a Chiropractor first to see if maybe they can help. I chose The Village Chiropractor because it was close to my work and my insurance covered it! Dr. Kelly Delorey sent me for another x-ray and I returned the next day. After her evaluation of my CT and x-ray, she told me one leg was almost 3/4 inch shorter than the other. My spines a mess, from the impact of the car on my spine (whiplash). She started to adjust me and Today is the end of my second week, after my appointment this morning I was able to walk around the track one lap. I am seriously 50% better than two weeks ago. I cant wait to be 100% and that will be soon! Everyone in this office is kind and willing to help. I recommend Dr. Kelly Delorey to anyone that doesn't know why they cant walk right, or has spinal problems. My blood pressure before starting was 153/68, now it is 140/62. Having my BP reduce like that helps me with my fluid build up from the CHF. I lost 8 pounds of fluid the first week from being adjusted. I cant wait to see how much better I will be next week!!!

The adjustments are much more comprehensive than any other doctor I've seen. I have been seeing him for awful TMJ, neck pain/forward neck posture and back pain. I'm definitely making progress and feel relief every time I leave. He doesn't rush through in two minutes and is incredibly thorough & knowledgeable. He has educated me on not just posture but the power of breathing correctly which has helped my anxiety tremendously. There is a focus on wellness being the whole person. I'm someone who gets nervous with doctors, especially male ones and he is so kind & supportive that it puts me at immediate ease. Not that this is a deciding factor for a lot of people but the waiting area when you first walk in is beautiful and peaceful. It sets the tone. It's very easy to get ahold of the office and his wife who coordinates the phone booking is super sweet and helpful. I can tell they're obviously really busy but can find me what I need for an appointment whether before work or after. My teenage son who's a football player and lifts very heavy weights will be seeing Dr. Pinstein next week for the first time too. I won't be using insurance for my son (though do use Harvard Pilgrim for me) and the rates for out of pocket were unbelievably low and reasonable. I wouldn't let my son see just anyone and feel very confident and safe about him coming here. I can't recommend Dr. Pinstein enough! He's by far the best chiropractor on the north shore and I would say anywhere!

WHY CHIROPRACTIC CARE?…read more So my co worker said to me yesterday; "I don't know anyone who goes to a chiropractor as much as you do"! In the moment, I didn't know what to say! But as I have reflected on it, if it wasn't for Dr Jenny L Bruck DC at Spinal Corrective Center NH, I wouldn't be able to do half of what I have been able to do in the last 5 years after my motorcycle accident. I watched Dr. Jenny help Kiela overcome most of her "autoimmune symptoms". Kiela suffered from lots of painful joints and rashes and went through years of seeing "specialists" and being put on more medications than anyone I know...someone(Kelly Doolan Downing) suggested a chiropractor and yes I was skeptical. But, after less than a handful of treatments, her rashes started disappearing and her painful joints became more manageable. Then, Heather suffered her concussion and again seeing specialist after specialist and again being given one pill after another that either masked her concussion symptoms or sent her off into loopy land and major weight gain. (Yes people kept saying, her weight gain was due to her in activity but they were wrong). As soon as she started Chiropractic care, her headaches, brain fog, fatigue and other symptoms started to subside. She was referred out to have cranial sacral massages. I can say I don't understand how that works but her dad and I have witnessed her barely walking into many appointments under her own strength to walking out like there was never anything wrong. Her own journey has led her to become a PreMed college student looking at future Chiropractic college. Now. back to me. Almost a year after my motorcycle accident, I was still in pain and finally convinced a thoracic specialist to go in and surgically repair a couple of ribs that never fused or healed and because I was still in lots of pain. The surgery definitely helped but I still found myself popping Tylenol, Motrin, pain patches and sometimes even stronger meds to help me sleep through the pain at night. It took almost a year of Kiela and Heather being under Dr Jenny's care before she finally convinced me to at least take some X-rays so she could see if she would be able to help me. Still leery, I caved, she then did a couple of very simple manipulations with a tool called an activator and was able to slightly maneuver my ribs and spine toward where they belonged and in a short time I was no longer taking pain meds during the day and was able to sleep with just Motrin and some pain patches. I was seeing her 2x a week for a while and was pleasantly surprised at how pain free I was becoming. I have a lot of nerve damage on my right side from my shoulder to my hand and my lungs. It was a lot worse but as I have been getting adjusted I have been getting more and more feeling in my arm. I always know when I get an extra good adjustment because I end up with goose bumps down my arm. Normally, I can't feel those goose bumps because I can't feel my right arm. I haven't only benefited from reduced pain from Chiropractic Adjustments but all in all I have been much healthier. Less and less sinus infections and ear infections. When I do get sick which is much less often, I get over the sickness much quicker. My overall health is much better. So, yes I go to the chiropractor when I'm feeling sick, in pain or just need more energy! I would rather keep my body functioning properly without just masking symptoms by popping a pill. Traditional medicine isn't the only medicine.
