Amazing! I've been to several chiropractors over the years and I feel so fortunate to have found…read moreDr. Tyler Pinstein. The adjustments are much more comprehensive than any other doctor I've seen. I have been seeing him for awful TMJ, neck pain/forward neck posture and back pain. I'm definitely making progress and feel relief every time I leave. He doesn't rush through in two minutes and is incredibly thorough & knowledgeable. He has educated me on not just posture but the power of breathing correctly which has helped my anxiety tremendously. There is a focus on wellness being the whole person. I'm someone who gets nervous with doctors, especially male ones and he is so kind & supportive that it puts me at immediate ease. Not that this is a deciding factor for a lot of people but the waiting area when you first walk in is beautiful and peaceful. It sets the tone. It's very easy to get ahold of the office and his wife who coordinates the phone booking is super sweet and helpful. I can tell they're obviously really busy but can find me what I need for an appointment whether before work or after. My teenage son who's a football player and lifts very heavy weights will be seeing Dr. Pinstein next week for the first time too. I won't be using insurance for my son (though do use Harvard Pilgrim for me) and the rates for out of pocket were unbelievably low and reasonable. I wouldn't let my son see just anyone and feel very confident and safe about him coming here. I can't recommend Dr. Pinstein enough! He's by far the best chiropractor on the north shore and I would say anywhere!

I was referred to him from a family member after my chiropractor retired. I had seen my chiropractor for almost 15 years. I am a nurse and have chronic neck and back issues. The intake process was pleasant and long. Received X-rays, which being in the medical field felt the machine was old and outdated. After waiting for over an hour talking with the intake staff I asked if I'd be seeing the doctor. They told me I would need to make another appointment. I was pretty frustrated and told them didn't realize I wouldn't actually be seen. At that point they were able to get me a few minutes with the doctor. Dr Martone was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. I specifically told him I did not want my neck manually manipulated. Which basically means him twisting my neck and cracking it, or adjusting it. I told him I had it done before and did not feel well after. In addition had taken care of a young woman who had manually manipulation done by a chiropractor and ended up with a carotid dissection and a massive stroke. Dr Martone assured me he would not do manual manipulation. He stood behind me and placed his hands on my head and neck and did exactly what I asked him not to do. I immediately felt sick to my stomach and asked why he did that. His reply was "well don't you feel better?" I did not. I promptly left the office and have not returned. As a nurse with more than 30 years of experience I was amazed at Dr. Martone's unprofessional behavior and arrogance. I honestly felt that the whole experience felt cult like in nature and really felt badly for the patients sitting in the waiting room. I have mentored and worked with hundreds of doctors in my career and to have someone lie to me and do something I asked not to be done to me only supports the uneasy feeling Dr Martone gave me. I would not recommend Dr Martone to others.

So, as a last resort sought out a chiropractor. I called a few and could not be seen for a few days to weeks out. As luck would have it I called Blomerth and they could see me that same day. Dr. Ellen did a thorough evaluation and discovered my c-spine was the main source of the issue and showed how it involves the shoulder etc. After just a few visits I was feeling better than I had in months. Within 6 months I was totally PAIN FREE. Dr. Ellen does a great deal of muscle manipulation and ultrasound that really worked for me. I would recommend Blomerth highly. Blomerth was so helpful for my initial injury that I now go to them regularly for other issues that I have encountered such as TMJ pain that was only fixed by them or numbness and tingling in my little fingers ( turns out it is a pinched ulnar nerve) all of which was quickly and easily resolved by Dr. Ellen. It is no wonder there is a plaque on her wall stating " Massachusetts Chiropractor of the Year" she knows her stuff.
