We recently hosted my wife's 40th birthday at Block Party Social in Hooksett, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. Your catering menu lists $25 per person with a 15-person minimum. We estimated 20 guests, but only 14 attended. I understand from the confirmation email that changes needed to be made at least five days in advance, so I recognize why we were charged for 20. However, the main issue was the service that evening. When I asked about the charge, the staff member who introduced herself as our server told me the pizzas for 20 people were already prepared and would be brought out, but she never returned. Another staff member later approached us but was argumentative rather than helpful. At that point, I simply asked for the remaining food to be boxed so we could leave. After waiting about 25 minutes with no follow-up, the food was still sitting untouched. My wife ultimately had to box up her own birthday party food. We spent around $700 expecting a fun milestone celebration, but instead left feeling ignored and frustrated. Given how quiet the venue was, the lack of attention was especially disappointing. Id only recommend going on half price wednesday. And when you go make sure where u slide ur reloadable card is listed at the correct price because the arcades are inconsistently priced. The 4 player ticket games might only have 1 or 2 of the 4 card readers(how you pay for arcades) at the half price while other spots at the same game have higher prices! We realized after overpaying multiple times. Then the baseball speed oitch game is broken and uncalibrated but still on and operable just enough to take your money but unable to register correct speeds thrown and distribute tickets accordingly. Frustrating. The rick and morty game was frustrating customers left and right because it didnt work properly. The ball toss game where you knock over clown dolls was rigged and the 30 point clowns were impossible to knock down even with a fastball. The arcade was low on employees which put too much workload on the few employees actually working. I saw the same guy pour drinks, hand out food, doing ticket redemptions, fixing games, and patrolling. This arcade has potential but you really need to get everything functioning properly. Also stop only putting half price games in some of the card readers while other readers on the same game show full price. No bubble hickey is criminal. read more

Where do I begin? The setup is kind of confusing at first and then you realize it is basically Dave and Buster's if you ordered it off of Temu and it was delivered in the rain to get damaged even more. Once you speak with staff, they seem to be dismissive or uneducated on the practices and procedures of Block Party Social. The female who was running the climbing wall was more helpful than anyone else there. Then the individual who responds to peoples reviews likes to try and turn reviews on the customer. Formerly the Space Entertainment Center, Block Party Social is a good place to go for indoor family fun which is a local smaller version of a Dave & Buster's or an iPlay America (in NJ), offering a good variety of arcade games, skill games (win tickets for prizes), cornhole, pool table, ping pong, plus a Sky Trail (ropes course), zipline, and Laser Tag. There are plenty of social distancing markers on the floor and hand sanitizing stations throughout the center. During the current pandemic, the staff all wear masks, but most customers were seen without masks. Like before, they also have a snack bar named Frankie's Grille which is order at the counter and serves up burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, salads, chicken tenders, wings, fried foods, poutine, Asian nachos, cookies, brownies, Pepsi fountain drinks, bottled drinks, beer & wine. The food prices are moderate. There is also ample table seating nearby spread out. Specials are also offered here on certain days including half price burgers & pizzas all day on Mondays, unlimited laser tag for $20/pp on Tuesdays, half price arcade games on Wednesdays (similar deal at Dave & Buster's), and College Thursdays. I stopped here recently for takeout food at Frankie's Grille. I ordered Asian Style Nachos ($9 plus tax) and a Steak Bomb Wrap with Curly Fries ($12 plus tax). After I paid for my food, they gave me a metal number to hang onto until my food was ready and packed to go, which took about 15 minutes. The Asian Style Nachos were very good, which was a good portion of crispy wonton chips topped with breaded General chicken pieces, Asian slaw, guacamole, & a sriracha aioli drizzle. The Steak Bomb Wrap was decent, which was filled with tender grilled steak tips, sauteed peppers & onions in a soft flour tortilla cut in half and plenty of white cheese sauce for dipping. The golden fried curly fries (lightly salted) were firm in texture. I will definitely be back for some gaming and for the burgers, pizza and those Asian Style Nachos! NOTE: Use extra caution when entering and exiting the parking lot to/from Zapora Drive (a Town road) since the driveway is located on a blind curve. The tree line and very thick brush on the inner curve of Zapora Drive really should be removed to provide sight distance for left turning vehicles into Block Party Social. read more

Is this normal?!? I had my son's 5th birthday party on Saturday. We paid $300 for the party, $100 on 2 extra pizzas billed to the party and spent over $200 at the bar during those 2 hours (there were a lot of adults there). The bill came with a hand written "20%, 18% or 15%". The staff was great so I wanted to give a 20% tip. It was never made clear to me that by circling 20% tip, that it would be applied to the ENTIRE tab! Including the party rental fee, SALES TAX and even the $25 service fee which I still haven't received a response about what that fee is for. We were told that the $50 table fee would be waived if we spent $100. Which for the record, we spent WAY more than that...just didn't charge it directly to the party tab. I am happy to tip our party host and intend to do so once this is straightened out. But this felt very sneaky to me and I did not expect to pay an $86 tip after having already spent so much on the party. Otherwise, we did have a great time at the party and the pizza was great. We just had my son's 10th birthday party here on Sunday. We chose the laser tag package for 10 guests. The package was worth the price. Each child received a $20 game card, unlimited drinks, slices of pizza, one 30 minute laser tag session and a slice of very yummy cake. We did purchase additional pizzas for the adults, as well. Everyone had a great time! We even stayed after our reservation time was up because it was so awesome. I was a little annoyed with how they crammed several parties together in the small area behind the Axe Throwing. They had each party in a "lane" sectioned off by waiting line "ropes". Because of the small space the guests were asked to please be elsewhere until "party time" (aka pizza and cake). We were told that we could rent additional tables for $50/each. We declined and decided to go hang out in the regular seating area. The food was great, the place has been transformed into something really cool (a huge difference from the old Space Center), and overall I am very happy with the decision to have his party here HUGEEEEE shout out to our party hostess, Star. She was absolutely amazing and so kind. She was sweet and helped with everything we needed and worked her butt off to make sure all of the attendees (from all parties, not just ours) were happy. Huge arcade with so many games but the prizes are so-so and it takes forever for someone to come to the prize counter to help.

I had a great experience dealing with Candace, taking care of my Boy Scout Troop, Fun February. The Troup picks three places to go with the Troup to have fun in the month of February. The staff on Monday evening was unbelievable! I would recommend any Boy Scout Troup or organization for a night out of fun in the arcade and Laser Tag. We went here for a birthday party on a Saturday and loved it so much we went back as a family on Sunday. The food is OUTSTANDING! Just totally blown away at how amazing and delicious it was... I was not expecting food this great at an arcade joint. The Asian nachos are FREAKING DELICIOUS 10/10! It's the main reason we went back! The fried dough- best I've had! Pizza is on point! Cocktails, thumbs up! The place is new, impeccably clean, extremely spacious. The music isn't blaring so loudly that your ears ring (like Dave and Busters). It's nice to actually be able to talk to and hear your friends. The arcade games are fun.. a plus that they also have laser tag, a rock wall, obstacle course, axe throwing, corn hole, ping pong.. you name it. For parties they set the table like you are at a wedding. Unexpected but so nice! This is a new favorite place and we will be back, a lot! Loads of fun for all ages. The only down side when comparing to Dave and Busters is that the prizes aren't as great... for kids to get a stuffed animal you need a few thousand tokens. I've been coming here for years. I feel this place is more expensive for games but the kids always have fun. I've always had great customer service until my last 2 visits. The food service workers were so unpleasant. One of them walking by our table interjected in our conversation because she thought we were negatively talking about the business. Her tone was so bad and we explained our personal conversations had nothing to do with block party social, no apology was given. Then there was the issue with the food. They kept messing up my pizza toppings (only 2 toppings) and it got to the point where I was dreading coming forward because they were so rude. I've been to so many arcades lol but this one takes the cake for my favorite one. I like how they give you a card with money on it and the games cost money. It's a creative spin unlike giving you a ton of tokens. Also has some fun games and gives out a good amount of tickets. Tickets load onto your card so you do not need to worry about losing your tickets. Laser tag is pretty fun also; it's a little tough but still is fun. The food is top notch. The pizza is honestly perfect; the sauce is so good, the cheese is melted good and the crust is delicious. Since we were at a party they also made delicious cupcakes. Considering this was arcade food I was guessing it wouldn't be as good as it was. The prizes are all good quality and since they are very generous in their ticket amounts you can get some good prizes. Overall I enjoyed myself and would definetely return :) read more

Been coming to Block Party since Opened an must say each an everytime I come here I have a good time an make positive memories with whom ever I go with. This particular time was a first we bought one of their Birthday Day Party Packages. Lot of fun an takes a lot of the work out of it on my end. I get to roll up an just enjoy myself. The place is owned an operated by "Edgar" a very hands on an personable person. His new wife "Star" whom also works there is great attentive an a pleasure to be around. She takes care of your needs an listens to every word. Her sister Areej also helps assist in anyway. Adriana was our host for the night an felt like my mom was there serving drinks up calling when dinner is done an cleaning up after kids.The staff here is so inviting an just makes you feel like your in your living room, man cave or kitchen. Steve at the rewards counter helped me cash in my tickets won I made the four kids that were apart of the party gift bags. An Joseph assisted me in making them also was very good at multitasking an making sure that everyone around was receiving assistance. I also want to give thanks to Steve the maintenance guy who if not for him wouldn't be able to play games. Thanks Don't know the Chef but should know his name cause we had Pizza this time an everyone loved it. His food is always five star. . This place had so much potential. We went a month ago and told all our friends how great it was. So naturally we all went and were shocked to see all the games that were just $1.00 are now $6.00! I kid you not! $6 to play one stupid arcade game and not even the good one. The one where you shoot a bunch of quarters out. My friends and I didn't play much because you play what 3 games for almost $20. Their prizes are also ridiculous. You need like $10,000 tickets to get anything half way decent that would cost $5. Food was great though, drinks were pricey. I'd rather have my place packed then have 3 rich people walking around with their kids. That's what is going to happen. read more

We got DoorDash delivery from here tonight. The Asian wonton appetizer was very good. The chicken tender platter was very pricey at $12 for only 4 chicken tenders. But I got the panko breading and they were very good. We also got the fried dough strips. Because the picture shows what looks like chocolate and caramel sauces, I expected those sauces with the order but there were none. I might possibly try them again, I'd just stay away from $3 chicken tenders. So, 3 stars for value. read more

Went here for Axe throwing, had purchased some discounted certificates. The certificates did not state anything to do with Axe throwing. They refused to accept the certificates as they stated not included. When a manager was requested we were told the person at the desk was the manager. Don't waste your money! Worst experience ever! 1. I paid $500 - my child's party table was in some awful corner. Not pleasing at all 2. The 2 people (one being a manager) helping us were EXTREMELY rude and were mad every time I asked for something. Basically felt like I fended for myself and I had to find them to figure stuff out. The manager literally talked to the kids more than she did me....I never knew what was going on. 3. I talked to her about adding rock climbing onto the party because the card they give the kids is gone in about 10 minutes because games are 2-3 bucks each. We also talked about adding more money to the cards - and I said we will see when pizza is done. Kids voted climbing. But she came over talked to a few kids and they said addd more money. Sooo she did. So I asked to add climbing and she said she already added money. So now all the kids think they get more games and I had to leave it. 4. I was told they were making cupcakes because they couldn't get cakes. I said ok I'll bring a cake as well - they come out with a huge cake! I wasted money on that. 5. I had one extra kid they charged 35 for the ropes course. She didn't even do it. Still charged me. 5. They came and cleaned the table and my drink wasn't done - they threw all the drinks away. We weren't finished Just an all over awe ful experience for that much money. My total way 534 dollars and I could have just gone there done everything separately and spent a half of that! This place is such a money grab. We paid for the platinum package which was 100$ down and the rest paid after the party. Well they had already charged our card and was bringing us the receipt, we ended up paying well over 600$ for honestly a mediocre party... not only that, they handed themselves a top of 60$. We will never be going back there, as there are PLENTY of better nicer places than this place. We also didn't get our group photo that I paid for. There was no one to help us or adjust the camera for our group. This place sucked. It was 100% NOT worth the money we spent, in just glad my step son had a blast or we would have made a scene. read more
