20% tip added to party rental fee AND misc fee?! I wish this was made clear to me when I circled "20%" that it was being applied to EVERYTHI - The image displays a receipt from Block Party Social, located at 51 Zapora Dr, Hooksett, NH, issued on December 18, 2021. It includes details of a party rental, food items such as a Block Party Pizza and Funtastic Fiesta, and miscellaneous charges. The receipt shows transaction IDs, payment methods (manual card entry and chip), and totals, including sales tax and tips. Handwritten notes about tips are also visible. The receipt is partially held by a person, with the background showing a dark surface.

Is this normal?!? I had my son's 5th birthday party on Saturday. We paid $300 for the party, $100 on 2 extra pizzas billed to the party and spent over $200 at the bar during those 2 hours (there were a lot of adults there). The bill came with a hand written "20%, 18% or 15%". The staff was great so I wanted to give a 20% tip. It was never made clear to me that by circling 20% tip, that it would be applied to the ENTIRE tab! Including the party rental fee, SALES TAX and even the $25 service fee which I still haven't received a response about what that fee is for. We were told that the $50 table fee would be waived if we spent $100. Which for the record, we spent WAY more than that...just didn't charge it directly to the party tab. I am happy to tip our party host and intend to do so once this is straightened out. But this felt very sneaky to me and I did not expect to pay an $86 tip after having already spent so much on the party. Otherwise, we did have a great time at the party and the pizza was great. I am hoping someone responds to my emails soon so I can get some clarification.

Children are gathered around a rectangular table covered with a blue tablecloth, eating pizza slices and drinking Pepsi from cups with straws. The table has birthday-themed decorations and a backdrop with gift bags and presents. An adult wearing a face mask and glasses is seen in the background, preparing or serving food. The setting appears to be an indoor party space, likely at a restaurant or entertainment center.

We just had my son's 10th birthday party here on Sunday. We chose the laser tag package for 10 guests. The package was worth the price. Each child received a $20 game card, unlimited drinks, slices of pizza, one 30 minute laser tag session and a slice of very yummy cake. We did purchase additional pizzas for the adults, as well. Everyone had a great time! We even stayed after our reservation time was up because it was so awesome. I was a little annoyed with how they crammed several parties together in the small area behind the Axe Throwing. They had each party in a "lane" sectioned off by waiting line "ropes". Because of the small space the guests were asked to please be elsewhere until "party time" (aka pizza and cake). We were told that we could rent additional tables for $50/each. We declined and decided to go hang out in the regular seating area. The food was great, the place has been transformed into something really cool (a huge difference from the old Space Center), and overall I am very happy with the decision to have his party here HUGEEEEE shout out to our party hostess, Star. She was absolutely amazing and so kind. She was sweet and helped with everything we needed and worked her butt off to make sure all of the attendees (from all parties, not just ours) were happy. Excellent, professional service!

Asian nachos - A plate of Asian nachos features fried wonton chips topped with various sauces, chopped vegetables, and small pieces of fried meat or tofu. A dollop of guacamole with diced vegetables is placed in the center, garnished with sauce drizzles and sesame seeds. The dish is served on a white plate, with drinks and condiments visible on a wooden table.

We went here for a birthday party on a Saturday and loved it so much we went back as a family on Sunday. The food is OUTSTANDING! Just totally blown away at how amazing and delicious it was... I was not expecting food this great at an arcade joint. The Asian nachos are FREAKING DELICIOUS 10/10! It's the main reason we went back! The fried dough- best I've had! Pizza is on point! Cocktails, thumbs up! The place is new, impeccably clean, extremely spacious. The music isn't blaring so loudly that your ears ring (like Dave and Busters). It's nice to actually be able to talk to and hear your friends. The arcade games are fun.. a plus that they also have laser tag, a rock wall, obstacle course, axe throwing, corn hole, ping pong.. you name it. For parties they set the table like you are at a wedding. Unexpected but so nice! This is a new favorite place and we will be back, a lot! Loads of fun for all ages. The only down side when comparing to Dave and Busters is that the prizes aren't as great... for kids to get a stuffed animal you need a few thousand tokens. Other than that this place blows every other arcade/ social joint out of the water. It has it all!

Great open set up, even during covid. - The image shows an indoor entertainment center with multiple arcade machines, laser tag, and climbing structures. The area is dimly lit with colorful neon and LED lights illuminating the gaming and activity zones. The ceiling is dark with visible structural elements, and there are a few tables and chairs in the foreground. The space appears spacious and designed for family or group entertainment.

This place is better and cheaper than Dave and Busters in Manch. If you are picking one, go here instead.

Every floor is more machines, more blinking lights, and more moments of "wait... where am I?" Yes, you use coins--as it should be. None of this "unlimited play" nonsense. You put in $20, get a pile of coins, and suddenly every game feels meaningful. Even the 80s games cost coins, which honestly just adds to the thrill. Did I expect nostalgia to be free? No. And I respect that. Prize strategy tip: if you want to win big, slot machines are your friends. This place knows what it's doing. Skill, luck, commitment. A journey. We came searching for a game called something like Dragon King? King Dragon? Royal Lizard? Not sure. We never found it. The casino consumed us first. Bonus points: there's free pizza during breaks, which I only discovered because I accidentally started applying for a job there. Competitive wages, paid breaks, flexible schedules. Suddenly the casino is offering real benefits. Final verdict: chaotic, nostalgic, coin-fueled joy. Five stars. No notes. Would I go back? Yes. I think the casino chose me.

Beyond the arcade, they've got indoor mini golf, bowling, and even a tavern, so there's something for everyone, kids and adults alike. This place is fantastic and I'll definitely be back. By the 1960s, the building was converted into a full-blown amusement arcade. Over 250 games can be found at Fun-O-Rama, both classic and modern alike. Since 2001, the owner of the arcade has been Robert Lago of New Hampshire-based Grape Hill Associates LLC. The arcade operates seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day. My family and I visited Fun-O-Rama this summer while we were spending the week in York. It was our first day in town, and after exploring the Short Sands Beach area we wandered into the arcade. Both of my young sons are obsessed with arcades, so they were very excited. Fun-O-Rama has a nice mixture of various types of arcade amusements, both classic and modern. In addition to the classic arcade cabinets of the 1980s, there were also pinball machines, skee-ball, air hockey, arcade basketball, arcade bowling, kiddie rides, a fortune teller machine, driving games, and shooter games. The place (and the games) seemed well-loved; countless hands had used those joysticks over the last several decades. We only stayed for a little while, as it was getting late, but my sons both had a fun visit. If you're planning to visit York in the summer and you love classic arcades, then you must visit Fun-O-Rama!

A lot of the games are broken, so choose wisely and look before you pop your coins in. Or, you can ask a staff member if it works. They just keep some of the broken games for the nostalgia factor. We've lost coins at times but we've also gotten free games or tickets at times, so it all works out and it's more about the fun than anything. Some of the games do not give tickets and you're just playing for fun - you can tell by looking at the machine beforehand if it gives out tickets. If a game malfunctions and doesn't spit out your tickets, it's pretty easy to get a staff member to fix the game (usually jammed or empty tickets) - and they will make sure you get your tickets.

I believe we visited on a Tuesday or Wednesday, whichever night it was they had a special an hour of Nerf wars for $20/pp. Our son had a great time in the HUGE (HUUUUUUUGE!!!) bounce area ( it is so big they have CCTV in the back for parents/non-participents to watch from the seating area). They also had a variety of games, which require a pre-paid card, but were all very reasonably priced (0.25 cents to $1.75). The pre-paid card also came with certain deals (load $10 receive $12 credit) and there were a variety of games for a variety of different skill-levels. They had the "play until you win" claw machine too, which is great for kids of all ages. The prize wall was expansive and the prizes were "priced" fairly. It ranged from a few points for candy to thousands of points for larger items. My son was able to get a stuffed animal for around 700 points, and he loves that thing. The area was clean, it was not crowded, parking was plentiful and staff was friendly and approachable. We really loved Xtreme craze.

Looked like they are renovating another golf course, and building a new course. The flooring was uneven at the mini golf course. But the kids still enjoyed the mini golf course. The batting cage was a good too. It was fun for kids who like baseball or just hitting the ball because the machine spits baseball/softball out at you. The machine might not be in the best condition but we did make the best out of it. The laser tag was in a small building and we had fun in there. They are pretty good about letting you stay in there longer if no one is around. The go kart was really fun. It felt like the speed was set, and you cannot really go too fast. You also get one free med ice cream with one topping from the groupon. It was too much for 2 people to share that one med ice cream, so we claimed 2 ice creams at a time for 4 of us to share. All four of us enjoyed Mel's Funway. We were there for almost a whole day taking advantage of our unlimited everything. So instead of driving elsewhere for lunch, we ate at the diner there. Surprisingly the food is not bad. We had the stuffed tater tots and it was really good. We shared the ruben and it was not bad. The kids shared a chicken tender meal. Their french fries are good. They just have a recording saying to check their website for days and hours. So we drove there. The ticket booth had a lighted sign that says, "Open" and listed their hours as Noon - 6PM Monday through Sunday starting April 19th but no one was there and many rides had tarps over them. We walked around looking for someone and finally found a person who worked there. They said they are only open on weekends. My wife explained that she called and no one answers the phone. The person said that we should have checked the website for their hours. She said, "We did and it says you are open." As does the lit up sign at the ticket booth! The person said, "Well all the rides are closed and covered with tarps." Anyway, my granddaughter started crying. She was so disappointed because we had told her all about the rides and bounce house and she had been so excited to go. We couldn't go back on the weekend because she was leaving to go back home to Maine on Friday. This place has gone downhill. This is the second time in the last year that it has been closed when it was supposed to be open and I will not subject my grand kids to this nonsense and disappointment, nor will I give my hard earned money to a company with such poor customer service.
