I went to his studio and sadly he told me he had to cancel and reschedule for another time. He was very genuine and apologetic and offered a free shampoo and discount for our new reschedule appt (Awesome by the way) unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the rescheduled appt due to work. Anyways, 3rd attempt and so so worth it!! (He did come through with the shampoo that he promised and the discount which was very nice of him) There is a seating area with a variety of magazines to look through and a flat screen that was playing the movie "White Chicks" lol SO, Carlos did an awesome job with my hair! I had dyed my hair jet black (I know I know, it's bad for my hair) about two months before I met with Carlos for my hair appointment and I had showed him a photo of something similar that I wanted and he did above and beyond! He knows what he is doing It's been three months now since that appointment with him, my hair grew out a little and I just still love it. He left me there while he was working with me to go do some errands (around one hour) with my hair wet,, after an hour I called him to see if he was coming and he replied to me in a very rude way. I waited for him to get there and left some money in the chair for his unprofessional and undone service and started walking outside, he followed me calling me and when he knew I wasn't coming back he started cursing and telling me "what kind of christian you are", I didn't speak one word. She knows exactly what she's doing and also gives the best hair advice on how to care for your hair to make sure it stays healthy. I have gone from brown, to blonde, to white, and now auburn. The prices are great and so is the location, it is in downtown McAllen. I highly highly recommend this salon. It is by appointment only.
