Tippy was the warmest, kind hearted person during my massage. Asking me how the massage will benefit me and if I had any injuries. I truly felt Tippy really listened and care. It was the most relaxing experience I've have felt in such a long time. I fell asleep and woke up feeling relaxed. Highly recommend Tippy and definitely Element Healing. Thank you.

I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage and 10 minutes of reflexology. Not much background noise, although I did hear someone burping lol. I asked for a male masseuse, and the guy I got was very strong and extremely skilled. He even incorporated some light stretching. My only real complaints are the amount of time spent massaging me over the towel feeling kind of long, and that he didn't have me turn over to massage me while I was on my back. Just a note, the Yelp check in for 5% off only applies if you pay with cash, and there is no ATM on site. I came in with soooo much tension and feel awesome now. I'll definitely be back.

Massages are very good (no/low-frills Asian spa-- it's not a foofy place, so go in with managed…read moreexpectations as far as decor and noise-level) Where i drop stars is after the massage, when you're settling up. Their sidewalk prices reflect their cash price for services, pre-tax and pre-tip, and they'll direct you to the enormous ATM machine positioned right at the desk where you settle up to make the point that they prefer (sometimes will only accept) cash. That's not subtle, but it's fine i guess. But then when it comes to tipping, it's so interesting-- even if you volunteer a 20% tip on the credit card price, they will tell you it's not enough, will do something on a calculator behind the desk and then show you a number on the calculator that is more like 28-30% tip. If you protest and say something along the lines of "I'm so sorry, that's not correct- i teach math, i understand percents, that is not a 20% tip. What i gave you was a 20% tip. The customer decides the tip," they argue and basically play chicken with you until you give in or leave feeling like they and everyone still getting their feet rubbed behind you think that you are a down-dirty thief or something. It's like they're banking on your discomfort and post-massage brain fuzz to get a 30% tip. I watched them do this to one customer during the foot part of my last massage and then heard them do it to another customer while i was getting my back worked on during the same visit... and then, yep, they did it to me, too. I gave them what they wanted, knowing i would never, ever be back, and that i would probably stop going to their sister massage spot a few blocks away even though I've been a regular there for 18 years and really like their massages. I wasn't going to post a review about this-- that last visit where they challenged my math was actually 5 months ago, i just walked away and committed to not going there anymore-- but i overheard two young women in a restaurant talking about this happening to them today, too, and wondering how they messed up the tipping so bad. It's not you, bebes, it seems to be the business model unfortunately. It wasn't always this way, but at least since November 2025, it seems to be a common occurrence. Check the reviews- it's mentioned in several other reviews besides mine, too. It's a shame. It gives basic, nuts-and-bolts tui-na spots a bad rep. So: Stay away. Or at least go in prepared with your own enormous calculator that you can wave around back in their face to show the actual math.

Safiya is the truth. With her magical and gifted hands, her beautiful personality and the miracle…read moreproducts that she used on my skin, I am so happy that I was able to set this appointment on a short notice. I must admit; I lived in Bed-Stuy for a good amount of years. I would literally walk by this shop every single day with thoughts of wonder and curiosity. I guess during those times, my budget was tight. I knew entering this place would mean I have to dish out some disposable cash that I didn't have. But I was always curious about the N-Diya experience. Fast forward into today. I was chilling at Le Paris Dakar and had extra time to burn before I picked up my son when I instantly thought "it would be a good idea to get a massage." I looked across the street and thought to self "N-Diya. I'm going to call them now." I didn't think I was going to get anyone but someone (it was Safiya) picked up the phone. I asked if it was possible to make a same day appointment for an aromatherapy massage and she booked me for the next hour. I was so excited. I entered the cozy and quaint parlor and there was another customer in there, who was on his way out. She then greeted me and asked if I was ready. I said of course. The massage experience was definitely what I needed. I was definitely tense in certain areas (which she paid close attention to). She used one of her body butters and let me tell you...I noticed a huge skin difference. I had some scars from being in the hospital (bandaid and electrode scars from the EKG leads) and they literally look lighter! I observed this when I got home. I was trying certain products from Duane Reade and Walgreens and nothing worked except for the body butter she used during the massage. Wow. I was checking out the website for the skin products and the ingredients are super natural. You can pronounce all the words; no synthetic mumbo-jumbo. I am making plans to purchase a few skin care items this week. The aromatherapy massage was priced in a standard way and depending on my budget, I might incorporate it into my pampering routine now and then. But as far as the products go, I am definitely becoming a long time customer.

It's relatively quiet, so you can bask in the stylings of Pachelbel and Celine Dion in peace. And you will be offered additional hydration if you so much as clear your throat. I describe the massage pressure here as the Goldilocks ideal: Not too soft; not too strong. Just right. The massages I've had include scalp, some face, and usually front/shoulders. For a standard hole-in-the-wall accupressure spot it's one of my two favorites in the entire Slope. I'm much closer to other options but I will walk 30 minutes or sometimes even cab it. Overall, this is a great reminder that good service can transform a generic business into one that inspires loyalty. The prices are also very low ($45 for 1 hour), which is a great reason to tip generously.
