Not to mention as soon as I paid they walked out behind me without cleaning their salon! They got mad at me for not wanting to get gel and I wanted acrylic instead! They charge you $43 per manicure (we got the powder dip nails) they use the least amount of powder possible (my nails are so thin they are breaking less than 2 hours after). They don't shape them. The lady doing my nails filed my natural nail down with the Dremel so far it burned. She cut me multiple times. My moms lady didn't even cover her whole nail with the powder yet somehow got it all vet her hands on her skin. When I say it looks like a three year old did it that's a compliment. I regret going here and will never go back. Waist of money and rude people.

Ok this is going to be long…read more Their sign says King Nails & Spa so don't be confused. I was a loyal K Joy customer. I still say that Kimmie does a fantastic job there and her salon is beautiful, BUT... On December 26th, I went to K Joy and they were closed. I needed to get my nails done THAT day. I had been to this salon about 2 years ago and it was just ok. Very basic nail options. A full set took forever. Only accepted cash from their cash machine that charged a fee and the lady that owned it also owned the froyo place and spent most of the time pushing her food on everyone which also only accepted cash... that always seems shady to me. I saw some newer fantastic reviews and decided to give them another try. I am BLOWN away! The salon is totally different. Tons of absolutely BEAUTIFUL options. It seems as though it has new owners. I was a walk-in with no appointment, yet I was greeted immediately and given a seat to get started even though they were busy. They do accept cards now and no mention of food. Lol. Vi did the most beautiful set of dip nails and at a great price (about $15 less for a full set of dip nails in an ombre style). She put so much extra effort into making sure that my hands and nails were beautiful. From a very thorough trimming of my cuticles (not just relying on the grinder and filing) to massaging my hands after the nails were complete. You get the full manicure treatment in addition to beautiful nails. King was helping and very sweet and friendly. At 48 years old and having had my nails done since I was a teenager, I can honestly say these are my favorite nails ever. I can't stop looking at them. I will definitely be back with no hesitation. Please pardon the old wrinkly hands and bad picture. They are 1000 times prettier in person. Don't hesitate to come here or if you'd been here in the past, like me, come back and see all the new options and give them another try. You won't regret it!

My 93 year old mo had a pedicure. $35 Kim went out of her way to be gentle and kind. It was so lovely to find someone who could communicate with mom and she enjoyed her service immensely. She also worked well on an ingrown toenail and did a better job than the podiatrist did. They used clean instruments and the salon was clean. I had a toenail and cut from a lady whose name I forgot but she was equally kind, did a great job and was very professional. $15. We live quite a distance from them but will definitely drive back for our next service.

There is no proper lighting in pedicure chair either. 3 nails were extremely crooked and the girl kept arguing with me about it and didn't do anything. Cost $160 n idk why I tipped another 20. Feet still felt like sandpaper. No idea why I went back but went for fill in and polish change on toenails 2 days ago cuz no point in paying for relaxing pedicure. You won't get it! She did a horrible job. You could literally see where every original nail started so no proper fill in. Wrong shade from what I picked as well. One thumbnail wasn't even properly painted. You could see the pink nail underneath. 3 nails and a big toenail was badly smudged too. Also my left hand nails were much longer than my right. The girl argued about that and didn't correct it. $130 for this. I've never in my life went back to any salon to complain but this was crazy for the money I've spent. $130 for this fill in n polish change on toes. Had to leave work early to go by there and the mgr kept arguing with me. All they did was a polish change and the paint job on my toenails is hideous!!!! The girl kept getting phonecalls and she'd pick up and say a few more minutes. No proper lighting in the pedicure chairs at all!!!! My toenails still look terrible and I'm going to have to go to another salon and pay to get them fixed. The mgr is extremely rude and I think he's timing them which is probably most of the problem. He's always going around and noting their progress while they are working on nails. The kicker is I'm am a mgr at Hamilton place mall and one of my associates was complaining about her nails and guess where she went one day before me? The nail boutique. Hers were messed up as well. NEVER GO HERE!!!!
