The food came out fresh looking and made with true effort. I only had one jello shot but it did not give me a buzz at all but that's ok, it was good. I have to say it is a little more pricey than I thought it would be, or at least for food. They have beer specials .

I feel compelled to write a review for this place... 8:30-9:00PM New Years Eve…read more We (gf and I) were driving down 82nd and were trying to find a bar to get a quick drink. We randomly chose this place... As we parked in the lot, we noticed Chinese writing above the door way. Sweet! This place is already perfect. Walk in and was greeted by a very nice and happy bartender wearing a santa hat. Ordered a couple drinks and walked over to the pool table. The place is one giant, grimey, dungenous room, well not giant maybe like 600-650 square feet. Bar area, video lottery, seating and tables, TV, darkish lighting, maybe 5-7 people were in at this hour. Bathroom was remarkably clean for such a divey place, but it's possible it's because it was dead when we went. Being an asian from SF, my standards for chinese food is pretty high and most of Portland is extremely hit and miss to me. We decided to order something safe... pot stickers. I have to say, the pot stickers were legit. :) I downed two pendletons while shooting about 6-7 games of pool. Their table is well balanced and rolls great! The sticks need an upgrade though... We unfortunately had to leave for a family event but if it wasn't for that, I was having such a great time I would have had my news years there if it was up to me! If I lived in the neighborhood this would definitely be my GO TO bar. I can easily see myself getting wasted, playing pool and eating chinese food all night. Sounds like heaven to me even though it looks like hell inside. If I am ever around you can bet I am coming back! P.S. While my review is positive, this definitely ain't no place to take a date unless she's into this sort of thing. This place is as real as a bar can get. I love it but a classy lady will likely be to scared to even step inside just due to creepy aura it gives off at night... next to a gas station. Good Luck!

"Accused of Drug Use for Using the Restroom"…read more I occasionally stop by Time Out Sports Bar & Grill in Gresham on weekends while taking a break from driving Lyft. I usually play a bit of video poker and mind my own business. Today, that changed -- and not in a good way. After playing poker for a while this afternoon, I politely asked to use the restroom before leaving. Roughly 6 minutes in, the bartender (an older Asian man who spends most of his shift sitting down and is consistently rude to anyone who isn't a regular) starts pounding on the door. I let him know I was almost done -- thinking that would be the end of it. Instead, he loudly claims there's a "time limit" on restroom use -- something I've never seen posted or enforced anywhere, especially not under 8 minutes. When I came out, he doubled down and accused me of using drugs in there -- totally unprovoked, baseless, and out of line. I don't take false accusations lightly. I calmly challenged him on this imaginary "rule" and told him if 8 minutes is too long, put up a sign that says so. His response? "You have no idea what people do in this bathroom. You were probably doing drugs." Seriously? This kind of behavior from staff -- especially accusing paying customers of drug use without cause -- is unprofessional and damaging to your business. If this is how non-regulars are treated, no wonder the regulars stick around: everyone else is chased away. To ownership: If you care about your reputation and treating all customers fairly, this situation deserves attention. No one should be publicly humiliated or accused of criminal behavior simply for using the bathroom. Until this place learns how to treat all customers with respect -- not just their buddies -- I'll be taking my breaks elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our experience last night was extremely disappointing. We were dining with a visiting family member and had just received our food and first round of drinks. When our waitress--who mentioned it was her first day--came back, I politely ordered a second drink. About 10-15 minutes later, a bartender (whose name was shared with us as Diego by our waitress) brought the drink to the table. Instead of simply delivering it, he spoke to me in an aggressive and condescending tone, telling me this would be the only time a drink would be brought to the table and that next time I needed to go to the bar because they "don't do table service." The issue wasn't the policy--it was the way it was communicated. It felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Shortly after, our waitress returned and asked if the bartender had been upset about the order, which added to how uncomfortable the situation felt. As the only table of color in the space at the time, the interaction left us questioning whether this was simply poor training, a bad night, or something more concerning. I can't say for certain--but I can say it did not feel welcoming or respectful. We chose to finish quickly, pay our bill, and leave with our food. This experience does not reflect the kind of hospitality we expect from our neighborhood. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and that management takes steps to address staff communication and customer service.

This place has a unique setup where their kitchen operates independently from the bar. They have an Asian menu (takes cash only) and then the regular bar and some bar item foods that go on a separate ticket. The lady serving us was super friendly to us and made sure we got our drinks and food order in. She made us feel invited and provided great hospitality. We ordered a good selection of food from the Asian menu. The steamed rice noodles were of perfect texture and thickness. It was very easy to consume. We also ordered a couple of noodles dishes. From the bar menu, we ordered some chicken strips. It's the best of both worlds if you're looking for a variety of food. I would definitely come here again.

In fact, the very first time we went to that location, it was called 'Sir Loins'! His grandparents used to take us there, and after Sir Loins, we went back once, but were not happy with their steak. Years later, we'll give them another chance. Hubby ordered a glass of Merlot, and said it was excellent. For his meal, he ordered the Surf and Turf, which was an 8 ounce sirloin steak and large fried shrimp. As his side, he ordered the loaded baked potato. A green salad was also ordered. We were quite frankly blown away by the food. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and was as tender as could be. The potato was hot and loaded, and came with additional butter, sour cream and green onions to add on. Toasted cheese bread was on the plate. The salad with ranch dressing was just fine too. All that for a very reasonable price. Service was quick and friendly. The vibe of the pub was friendly as well. I got Rueben Sandwich with fries. We shared the salad, above. The sauerkraut with my Rueben was far more better than one I had recently! Half of everything, was set for another meal.
