It's like someone read my diary and made a dive based on my dreams. This place is amazing. They have tacos, pozole, and a full bar. They play punk rock and country. The bartenders are so full of personality it's hard to have a bad day because they are so good at making everything fun and are so willing to ask you about your day. They have free ukulele lessons on Tuesday and karaoke on Wednesday. They also have punk shows regularly. If you don't love this place you're probably an a$$hole. read more

Appears to be a compete dive bar from the outside, and maybe even one with some unsavory type of people. Pleasantly surprised. Quirky artwork around, some old video games. Place was very dead on a Saturday night. Not much personality out of the bartender, but whatever, he was probably judging us by how we looked. Which in our case, was not the usual suspects. Mixed drinks very small and not heavy on the alcohol. No tv's for the sports fans. The penis piñata was a funny suprise. Maybe I'll come back when I get some ink and wear black clothing. read more

So happy the girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try. Very chill environment. Quirky and fun. Definitely at the top of my list compared to the other local bars we have tried. So far so good. They are trying to do something cooler Area 52. Their pozole bull is great. They got a tough row to hoe the building has its problems I help remodel it so I know. They did however, do a spent a bit of money in the remodel. So far we have yet to see what music venue is going to be but I do like their pozole. Based in a vegetable broth. It's really good. There is fort George ,nonkasi, truck and a cider that I don't know on tap. I'm sure there is more but I'm old and I seem to gravitate towards cocktails. They do that to. Come for the food, but satisfy your thirst. read more

Fantastic little spot in SE! Amazing food - I highly recommend the burritos and the taco bowl. Service is quick and friendly, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Great little outdoor patio & off-street parking is available. Worst bar in Portland. Avoid at all costs. The name alone has pissed off the entire neighborhood, which the owners think is funny. Comments about friendly staff are a joke - our friend ordered a can of beer and they said "why don't you just drink on your porch if you're ordering beer from a can." I watched the owner yell at a group of women, calling them bitches and threatening to physically remove them. I don't know what they did, but his reaction seemed way out of line.
