Disgusting biscuits and gravy

Disgusting and my biscuits and gravy were burned. This crap cost me $7.00 and I ordered from grubhub. I wasted 2 drops of hotsauce on this garbage and after 1 bite I was disappointed! Dont order from this place! Terrible!!!!! How hard is it to notice burned food and whats the cook smoking to send that slop out?

Dirty martinis and Oatmeal with Raisins on the Griddle Breakfast

The food rocks but the bimbo "serving" left a lot to be wished. I reckon that some folks want to hate but that is sad.

Per Tony, the bartender, you should hire Holly and Lisa (karaoke goddesses) as hype girls aka HolLisa. I second that!!

What nights do they have karaoke?

They have karaoke here all week. We are here on Friday. Been here for 5 hours only got to sing 2 times. Dj kept passing us up while others sang 2 and 3 times. It was the worst experience we have ever had here. Luv2sing.com with this dj was so bad.… Read more

You ever have one of those days when somebody comes up to you and plops a big ole tit of a chicken…read morein front of you and you just tear into the thing and realize you'll never eat anything else in your life? That is, until you turn your attention to the wedge of a jojo next to that beautiful wet-tshirt-contest winner. And by wedge, I mean you could park a god damned RV on the bank-iest bank of the Willamette, put one of these under a rear wheel, throw the RV in neutral, and open a trampoline park inside. If you canceled the lease on Playdate PDX and are reading this, don't steal my idea, you prick. Anyway, I digress. Potato jojo wedge. Back to it. I brought home some as leftovers three months ago and my eight year old is still tunneling through them like she's a mole dropped into some f-ed version of Candy Land. Look, I know the fine bartenders here promise chicken and jojos the same way cable promises service: it'll arrive somewhere between the hours of 6 and 10:00 PM. But sit your ass in the chair, get a PBR and wait. Because, much like the bygone era of cable, when the boob shows up uncensored, late at night, and wrapped seductively in paper and BBQ sauce (don't judge me! You tuned in too!), you weren't thinking of the guy with the extra long butt crack and ill fitting button up. Oh no, my friend, you were thinking about the sauce. BBQ, ranch, sweet chili, . . . or ketchup (you immature shit).

This is another "Old Portland" establishment that still holds up. Even on a Sunday night, the…read moreplace was busy and also it was an MLK holiday. My friends were at the bar and I managed to get a seat next to them. I was smart to ask my friend to place a food order since they are known for hot fried food to take their time. I ordered a drink and caught up with my friends. There were complimentary treats which I gladly enjoyed. Once my food arrived, I enjoyed the jo jo's with buffalo dipping sauce as my go to. The fried chicken hits the spot and the staff is very friendly. It was great seeing 2 people working instead of just 1 person doing everything. My order was affordable too once I closed my tab. Old Portland for the win once again and will continue to support, cheers!

Came on a Saturday evening and found street parking just across the street…read more Very typical standard bar atmosphere with shuffleboard and dim red lighting, but felt a bit cleaner. Two restrooms available. Seating inside and outside Service was good as they did warn us the food would take a while with the small crowd hanging out. The "chicken tendies" were SO GOOD. Three big pieces with the perfect crunch. I got franks hot sauce and blue cheese as the dip. I'll probably get two of Franks hot sauce next time. They tasted like quality chicken that was juicy and perfectly cooked. The fries came with it and they were on the salty side but not bad. Definitely would return for the chicken tenders! I believe it was around $12 but the pieces were big and just amazing to eat fresh and hot!

Simple menu. 3. Bartenders who know their job and don't fuss over you just because you are drinking high end gin. 4. Decor - red velvet and the bar stools! 5. Easy parking in the neighborhood. What you have to turn a blind eye to: 1. Bathrooms are not pretty. 2. It's a local crowd feel and they'll get to you but take a load off and be patient. The grilled cheese is worth the order and the Bloody Mary was pretty good. If you are in sellwood there are two or three places like the Yukon and it's worth a visit to experience a certain vibe that doesn't exist in 98 percent of other bars.

But this place just goes above and beyond. I have had some of the best nights of my life at this establishment. Somehow it gets better every time! If I can reserve the vern for my wedding, I will. I will be naming my first born child Vern in honor of this great establishment, regardless of gender. However, I had occasion to stop by recently and actually really enjoyed the space. It's large and dim inside, with red felt cushioned booths, an awesome fire pit, and some retro and mildly scandalous art. There is a huge lovely patio that doesn't feel like you're as close to busy Belmont as you are. I got fried pickles and a diet coke for my short visit. Most of the menu is fried/salty bar food - burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. They've got happy hour that offers a few bucks off certain items. Overall this seems like the type of place that people would lament if it were to close. So go out and support a neighborhood bar while it's here!
