My request was to gut and then renovate my medium sized galley kitchen. At our consultation he estimated two to three weeks. I was incredulous. Scott, with BLIS Construction was exactly what a General Contractor should be and do. We had several different quotes from different Companies here in San Diego that were obviously all over the board and we certainly weren't looking for something cheap but we also weren't looking to get ripped off, and Scott nailed it perfectly. From the moment he came to our house to do the initial estimate till the day he left he was attentive. He listened to everything we asked we had made several changes as things went on added some things that were weren't initially part of the bid and at no point was there ever an issue with it. We asked for a couple of recommendations for Cabinet people and countertops, and both turned out fabulous! He gave us a timeline, even with the added stuff that we put onto it and still finished on time. Remodeling our Condo in Oceanside and needed a Contractor to cut and install a Granite countertop in our Kitchen and two Bathrooms. I was looking at two slabs at $1105/ea. Scott suggested Prefab and sent me to a place that had a selection of Granite. The total bill for the Granite came to just under $1400, which saved me around $810. Juan and Sebastian came out a few days later and set up at our place and in less than two days were able to cut the Granite to size, do the various cutouts, attach the sinks and tops and caulk everything.
