She is a pleasant person, always accommodating (my crazy schedule), her prices are very reasonable and what's most important is the quality of her work. And i also get my eyebrows threaded as well!

What rubbed me the wrong way was when I asked if she had punch cards for customers. She said no, then said not right now. On my next visit, I asked again and she provided a punch card. I asked her about my two prior visits and if I could get those punches. She then gives an answer that is not relevant to what's being asked. She replied "I'll punch it on your next visit." Well, ma'am, my next visit is for my next visit. I have had to ask her to sanitize her hands. If you've ever had threading done, the person is literally in your face and if it's post-lunch, you can tell exactly what they had or struggling with. Be aware that the area being threaded should be cleaned beforehand. It's irritating to remind the threader to do so. I wonder if this is in an effort to use less product. I need you to be just as vigilant with your sanitation practices as you are when the screen asks me if I want to leave a tip. Speaking of tips, the amount the screen shows is more than what's advertised. For example a 10% tip on a $12 service is $1.20, 20% is $2.40. Take the time to verify what's being shown so you know what you're saying yes to. The adjacent barbers are really loud with their conversations and music so there's not a lot of chit chat because it's difficult to hear. She is pleasant and patient and will listen to what you're requesting. I do like how she does my brows but need consistency in the simple hand hygiene practices and consideration if it's after a meal. By all means, take that coveted punch card each time you go and maybe, just maybe one day you'll actually accrue enough punches for a free service.

I also respected her hustle and overlooked her running her business out of her apartment living room. After she did lashes my eyes burned so badly I was getting migraines and I removed them immediately myself. I told Epiphany and she never refunded me, she told me she would change the lash glue on my next visit. I should have NEVER gone back, but I did. I found that Epiphany is not at all sympathetic, she is VERY unprofessional and does not understand the definition of CUSTOMER SERVICE. Epiphany would ask that I adjust my scheduled appointments but if an emergency arises at work for me and asked to reschedule that would not happened and I would loose my deposit. Epiphany behaved so poorly its like I knew she was having personal problems and would bring that negative energy on to me as a customer. Epiphany, I would advise you to stay humble and do better. The same GOD that promotes you can take it all away.

Yup, I'm tooting my own horn, but if I don't, who will?! Plus, I think every woman should strut their stuff and feel gorgeous, whether it's for a special occasion or just a girl's night out on the town! This review is way overdue because I had my make-up done by the "Melanin Matcher" herself, Ms. Heather, and she did a fabulous job - no, phenomenal job! Why the name "Melanin Matcher?" Glad you asked! Chile, she can literally match ANY skin color/type (and I do mean ANY) to the correct foundation that complements your skin! Guaranteed...No Lie! For the ladies that have tried to get their foundation matched up to their skin tone, you know how difficult that can be. Heather has mastered the science of figuring this out for us! Yesssss!!! Since I follow The Image Concierge on Instagram, I knew she was the perfect person to do my make-up for an upcoming event. I booked my appointment online and any questions I had, I was able to have them answered via email. You have the option of going to Heather's in-home studio or her/staff member coming to your home (for an additional price). I opted for Heather to come to my home. A down payment was required and I was set. She arrived promptly on time and we hit it off instantly. Heather has a very warm and welcoming spirit and her vision for my make-up was spot on with my cocktail attire. As stated before, she did a PHENOMENAL job! We talked about a variety of skincare products, make-up options I could do on my own, and brands that aren't often sought after but are really good. A few months later she had a special make-up presentation at her home and she invited me to attend...just a classy and business savvy lady. I can tell she appreciates her clients and I definitely appreciate her! She's doing big things in the make-up game and I'm glad she was able to assist me on my look that evening. I received many compliments. Thanks again Heather, you made me shine that night. SN: I need to make another appointment, even if I don't have an actual event to attend. I'll just be cute while I'm scrubbing the tub or mopping my kitchen floor. Ha!
