I wanted to get a new look for my kitchen window. I had heard about Blinds to Go, so I thought I'd give them a try. This Blinds To Go is located in Abington PA. on Old York Road. It's a busy area, but a lot of free parking. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with picking out my new blinds. I had my own measurements, but decided to have someone come to my home to get a more accurate reading. I also purchased Blinds for one of my bedrooms. I chose The Serenity Shade in a cream color for my kitchen and a white wood tone for the bedroom. I thought the prices were a little high, but decided to get them anyway. They charge you for every little thing. So be clear on what you want before you buy! We set up a time for the installer to come measure the window before the order went in. Again, he was very friendly. Took the measurements and left. It takes about 3-4 weeks for the blinds to be done. You need to put about 50% down when you first order them, and the balance needs to be paid before they come out to install them. We setup a time for them to come out to install them. (Again) They came out on time. Mark (the installer) was very accomadating when I told him the wands to open the blinds were on the wrong side. He changed them with no problem. I am very happy with my new blinds. My problem was at the end! I was told that I needed to pay $5 for each blind that the installer had to take down! If I knew that I would have taken them down myself! My problem is , I paid (in my contract) for measuring and installation. If he needed me to pay for taking down my old ones, tell me before you do it! Not when you are about to walk out the door. Needless to say, I didn't pay him anything else because of how this was handled. This is why they lost 2 stars! read more

Ordered blinds Jan 27, Came out and measured the window Feb 5 and was told they'd have the blinds in 3 business days and would call to schedule an appointment for install. Received no updates so i called on Feb 12 and was told they'd contact the warehouse and call me right back. Never received a call back so i called today Feb 16 and found out they supposedly shipped yesterday the 15 and would take another 3-4 days to arrive before scheduling install. Overall in store service was good but have been getting the run around in the manufacturing and install side of the house. UPDATE. Blinds were delivered to store Feb 18. Received an email notification and called to schedule install date. Was told that they couldn't schedule an install in my zip code so they forwarded my number to their contractor to setup an install directly with them. Was told to call back if they didn't reach out within 24 hrs. Called the store today Feb 19 because i never got contacted for install. Now they can apparently install in my zip code but the soonest they had a date for was MARCH 17. All said and done it would've been almost two months from order to install. I decided to cancel install and I'll do it myself. I pray to god their measurements are right. I'm tired of dealing with them. read more

If you are looking for a standard set of blinds, then do yourself a favor and check out any local home improvement store before considering BTG. Their prices are jacked 200+% and they have no flexibility on customer satisfaction. Their price-match guarantee is non-existent. I recently reordered a set of broken blinds from BTG. I was told that the slat color would be the same; the saleswoman never showed me a sample to compare though. Upon installation, I realized that it completely did not match the rest of the blinds in the room (I am not talking lot-to-lot variability). Got stuck with the useless set now, since they would not give any refund or store credit. Would not recommend. read more

Nothing but problems with this store and product. First, of 4 sets we ordered one track was too big. I have specific sizing instructions and they made it wrong. Would they stand behind the product, of course NOT. $52 for a new track was the best they could do. Go to hang the blinds, oh great, all the verticals are too long. Why did I give the store SPECIFIC SIZING again? So 3 sets I had to trim with scissors because of the incompetence of this company. I decide on the 4th set to use a circular saw because I'm tired of trimming and doing Blinds To Go's job at home on my own, and the blinds crumbled like a hard parmesan cheese because they are made of garbage materials. There is not ONE part of my purchase I am happy with. Not the product, or the useless store staff, or the expensive pricing for blinds I had to basically cut to size on my own. My next step will be the BBB. Paid almost $600 for this huge headache and crafts project. read more

Blinds to go is horrible their products for sure cheaply made all the tabs break the blinds vertical blinds fall down and then compel you to get replacements I've used tape and repair modules to try and keep my blinds from blinds to go operate but they just fall down without even touching thing eventually they just break and collapse horrible horrible company horrible products would not recommend it to anyone read more

This location does not care about customers. AT ALL. I ordered custom blinds on a Friday. Called back the next day to confirm the dimensions and sent a picture because I wanted to make sure it was correct. Jazmyn claimed she'd call back and tell me if everything was ok. No call. I called the store the next 7days. Multiple times a day. No answer. Ever. Finally after 8 days Jazmyn picks up and says 'oh I talked to the installer and he said it's not going to work'. Ok well I'm not giving up yet so I ask her to see what the installer recommends. She says she'll call me back. She did not. I called later, talked to a guy and cancelled my order. DONOT I REPEAT DONOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! Very unprofessional, the workers were on their cellphones, talking. One of the workers assisted me sadly she was clueless also. I ordered and paid for my blinds on December 8th 2017! I was told 10 days or less. I called the store on Monday December 18th I was told that the blinds were not ready yet. I stated that I was told that the blinds would be ready 10 days or less. I then received a phone call on December 20th from the store saying my blinds would be ready by Thursday or Friday at the latest... Their slogan is 60 years of customer satisfaction, but the location at old York road is not what I would describe as anything close to exceptional customer service. Getting a call back requires a call back, each consultant we interacted with either in person or over the phone made it pretty clear that they didn't care about the job, from incorrect quotes to not receiving call backs for measurements. When the guy finally showed up to measure for the blinds he of course showed up without the equipment he needed, and didn't let us know when he would be able to come back. We are waiting on another call back, after our 6th call to the store. This store made sure to charge us for the ladder fees needed for measurement and install, but when the time comes the guy doesn't show up with the ladder....what is the deal?? The salesman Kewan W. was very professional and knowledgeable about the products. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and followed up the next day as promised. The order was ready in 2 days. The installer picked up the blinds at the store then came to my home and installed 7 blinds in less than 1 hour. It doesn't get more convenient than that!! Prices are very good too. I had a similar experience 5 years ago (in 2010) when I replaced all of the shades on the second floor of my home. They are holding up well and still look beautiful, even after taking them down twice for painting and new window installation. read more

The store does not believe in customer satisfaction. First of all they gave me 3/11 blinds damaged. So now I had to go through the hassle of coming back to store drop it off pick it up.. one of the blinds was ordered with wrong width and the store would not work with us to get it corrected. Do not order anything from this store. The service is horrendous. I ordered blinds from a salesperson who really didn't seem that interested in my business. After picking them up, I got a call from them saying that they gave me the wrong ones. So it took another week for the correct blinds to come in. I picked them up, and later when I went to put them in found that they had left out the mounting brackets so I had to go back. The store is in a terrible location, so you have to go around the block when you exit and you take your life in your hands getting in and out of the parking lot. I had to go there 4 times for 1 set of blinds. Not once during this unsatisfactory experience did anyone apologize for the inconvenience of them screwing up my order again and again. read more

I did business with the King of Prussia store. I believe I was helped by the regional manager. She did not give enough information or advice about products. An independent contractor was sent to take measurements. He was very inexact. The 4 rooms were done and installed within a week. We are unhappy with the finished product and they are very disinterested, They do not cover the window exactly, you can see through the fabric shades (a lining should have been suggested) The mechanism for the wood blinds is very flimsy and has broken already, read more

I let my sales associate know this and he assured me at this location I would not have any problems, I shouldn't have made the same mistake twice. This experience does not even deserve 1 star . I was supposed to get a window treatment installed last week, left work early to be home for it. Nobody ever showed up. Tony is the name of the installer that was supposed to come. So I called the store, explained the situation to the woman working there who said she would call him to find out what was going on, and she never called back. I called again to find out myself, and nobody answered or called me back for the rest of the night. The following day I received a call to reschedule the appointment, with zero explanation as to what happened. They couldn't reschedule it for another week. Today, Tony again was supposed to come install it. I once again left work to be here. He has not showed up and it is now beyond the time window I was given. I called the store again, the man on the phone put me on hold to call and find out what was going on. He came back on to say the call went to voicemail and he left a message. I will be cancelling this order and asking for a full refund. Awful service. I will not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Service was excellent in the Willow Grove store! Everyone who assisted me was knowledgeable and polite.

It is now December 19. I ordered my single, remote controlled blind on September 9. I am still waiting. The trouble began with choosing the material for the blind, I was very clear that I wanted a blind that rolled and not one that raised in folds. After choosing the material and going through all the calculations and pricing, I was informed that the wooden material that I had chosen could not be used for a blind that rolled, so that necessitated beginning the entire selection process all over again. Then, it was an incorrect measurement, whether on the part of the installer or the factory I don't know, but back went the blind. More weeks passed. Then the motor didn't work, so back it went again. Still more weeks passed. Then the remote control didn't work, so back it went. You guessed it, I'm still waiting after more than three months for a single blind that works. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had ordered multiple blinds. I have had to take off work three times to await installation, and will eventually have to take off a fourth time. Meanwhile, you have had my money for at least two months; I sill have nothing. It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with the store. No matter what time of day or night you call, NO ONE EVER answers the phone, no matter which choice you make after the call connects. There is no opportunity to leave a message; it is up to ME to call you back. THIS is what you call customer service??? I once called at 10:02, two minutes after the store opened and got that message that everyone was busy. REALLY??? Unless there was a line of ten people outside the store dying to get in, I don't believe it. Once I called 26 times in a row and I finally got an answer the 27th time the phone rang. Such a poor customer service! However, if it's going to take more than three months to get a blind installed, I can see why you don't want to hear from your customers. Although customer service at the store is terrible, the installer, Doug, and his assistant, Tom, have been great. They have showed up when they said they would and have been very apologetic and actually seemed embarrassed this last time about the trouble with the remote. I don't think any of this is their fault, but the end result is the same...I have no working blind. Don't bother with the gift card. I will not be doing business with your company ever again, nor will I recommend Blinds-to-Go to anyone. January 9th is fast approaching, when I will be able to celebrate four months without a blind, since I'm sure nothing will be done over the holidays. read more

Prior to moving into house five years ago, had shades made for entire home from here. The man measuring resisted how I wanted them done {coming to bottom of window), but he did so with no length to spare. Within a few months, about half of the shades didn't reach the bottom. One hangs crooked and the one in the bedroom, which is double, hangs several inches from the bottom, leaving exposed window. Most of the shades are adjusted once daily, or they are left up, and should not have been uneven after a few months. When I contacted the store, I was told I must provide the receipt. I was moving and I haven't been able to locate it. I can't believe they don't have it in their data base. So, I cannot have these repaired. Customer service is unacceptable. A friend of mine went to Lowe's and got shades literally off the shelf that seem almost identical at a fraction of the cost. They look great and function much better. read more
