I had Maila come out to give me a quote for all the windows in my house and it was a pretty decent price I got. Malia came over on time, did all the measurements, was great with keeping me in the loop about the details of my order. Her crew came out and did a good job installing all the shutters in a timely manner. When I noticed there was a crack in one of the shutters that was installed, I told Malia and she told me to send her a photo right away and she'd make it right. I sent her the photo and she immediately ordered another shutter and within less than 2 weeks I received a brand new shutter without any manufacturer defects. I gotta say that this attention to detail and excellent customer service is rare-- but with Malia, it's not rare. Malia will do everything possible to do right by the customer and go above and beyond to get things done right. In my opinion the way a business should be done. I am totally impressed by the way she runs her company and when I have to get new blinds or shutters for my next house project-- I'll be using her services again! The price was WAY more than I had anticipated and much more than inflation, but I was still satisfied. Then 3 weeks after installation one side of one blind came loose and blind was hanging. After 30 minutes on hold, I was given the contact info for the person who would handle my problem. After 3 phone messages, a text with picture of problem and an email over the course of 3 days I still had received no communication. I had to have the blind fixed before it completely fell off. Now more than a week later, there still has been no followup. The warranty is basically useless.

I purchased a new home and decided to add a motorized blind to a large window; that was a mistake…read more The blind has been remade and reinstalled once already and I've had 2 separate technicians out to "fix the motor" unsuccessfully. The process for repairs starts with calling 3 Day Blinds who then sends parts or a new blind to a third party installer. They call you after receiving the parts but are typically booked out several weeks to actually conduct the repair. After 3 rounds of this I'm done. I asked for a refund and was told that I'm past the date of a return (Even though this was first installed 3 months ago and only worked for 2-3 weeks). I tried being patient but taking leave from work multiple times so they can save money on a bad product is unacceptable. Moral of the story: ask for a refund first and purchase a cheaper blind from somewhere else.
