I'm surprise! not much reviewer for this business, anyway, I used Blinds and More to do all the plantation shutters for all windows in my house (12 windows total). First, the owner, Shannon, came and measure all the windows and gave me estimation on how much I will spend. He was very nice, not pushy at all, to the point and the estimation invoice already include everything (no hidden fees at all) and the price is very affordable ( I had 3 companies that came to my house and do the estimation, by far, for the price and the quality, Shannon has the most reasonable price). Second, the shutters that I use is called Norman shutters, which I know, there are no VOC (most of wood/plywood/vinyl off gassing some VOC) so I know this shutters are safe for me and my family. And at last, it took a month from ordering and when its time for installation, mine was installed yesterday, the guy that did the installation is very polite, he didn't mind take of his shoes, very quick and clean on the job. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the shutters and the service. I'm sure I will use this company again in the future for my next home :) read more

I used Blinds & More recently to install some shutters and vertical blinds. Based on that one experience, I give them 3.5 stars. As others mention, the owner Shannon, who came out to do the quote, is a great guy. Knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He was thorough, had very good suggestions, and never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. The prices were very fair; not the lowest, but you get what you pay for so I always avoid the "lowest" prices. And we are very happy with the finished products. Good quality, and look very nice. If the above were all I was rating on, I would have given Blinds & More 4+ stars. But, I have to knock at least one full star for the installation. The install was done by a subcontractor. He did an okay job, and as mentioned the final result is good. But I was not happy with the process. The installer was rushing through the entire job like he had somewhere way more important to be. He left messes, e.g. the old hardware for hanging the blinds was just left on the floor, screws, hangers, drywall dust and all. I would give these guys an opportunity next time I need window treatments, but would request a different installer. read more

If I could, I'd give them 10 stars because that's seriously how awesome Shannon, the Owner is. I needed an entire office building outfitted with blinds and we had a serious issue with direct sunlight. Shannon helped me understand the different options I had to help minimize the heat. He explained everything thoroughly and was patient as I changed my mind about styles and colors. Sorry Shannon! =) We ended up choosing the Hunter Douglas Honeycomb blinds and they really work well with keeping our offices cool. My first experience was in 2006 (blinds for entire home) and since it was a good one, I contacted them again this year for blinds, shades and plantation shutters. If you look me up, I rarely review companies. I have to say, that this company goes over and above in customer service. I went to order HunterDouglas blinds that are battery operated. Shannon gave me a competitive price and was out as soon as I wanted him to measure. From the get go, I was informed that the blinds I picked had a 7 year warranty and I should wait till the new ones come out. They thought of me, before their profit margin. If I ordered the ones that were going to be replaced, parts would be harder to get, if anything happened with them. One blind stopped working and they got back to me immediately and fixed it promptly. Something was wrong mechanically with the blind. I was the one who asked, if they get compensated for coming out. Come to find out, Hunter Douglas doesn't even pay for their time to handle the situation. No problem on their part. They just want to keep me happy. Then, I texted that batteries were dying too soon on one blind. I received a call back that day to set up appointment. I just wanted them to know if there could be a future problem, that they new prior. Now I know they will be there and make sure my blinds run properly. If you are getting Blinds, drapes etc.. this is the company that will be there for you. They install quickly and beautifully and stand by the companies they represent. I do wish I'd have spent a little more for better quality because I'm doubtful the wood blinds I bought will last very long but they were inexpensive. I used Blinds and More for shutters and blinds in my home in September 2014. I believe Shannon is located out of Anaheim now as we visited his office near Angel Stadium. After contacting another blinds company and experiencing a no show I called Blinds and more and glad I did. We needed some blinds for our office conference room and were eager to get them in right away. I spoke with Shannon and he moved up an appointment for me, as he was really booked up, and came out ready with samples and suggestions. He's knowledgable and just listens to what you need-no pushiness at all.(love that). He offered up a quote that was almost $300 less than the last placed I had contacted for motorized cellulose blinds-so great deal. He said it would be 2-3 weeks to get parts in (did request deposit but that's reasonable for parts). Shannon called us back within that time frame and came out to personally install them. He even brough extra hardware to hide the cord on the side of the window which we hadn't expected- so great touch. He instructed me on how to work the remote and again just all around helpful. Shannon is a low pressure salesman. His product is beautiful and fairly priced. I had ordered the window coverings in March, but due to untimely construction, I was unable to have Shannon install them until June! They held my order until I was ready for the installation and he did not fuss about the remaining monies owed. As long as I had made a down payment, I would not have to make the final payment until after the installation was finished.
