beet salad

Fun pub with great service, that seems a tried and true favorite with the locals. Really enjoyed the braised beet salad and tuna poke. The chicken sandwich was full of flavor, with crispy chicken thigh, bourbon BBQ sauce, and chipotle ranch.

Blind Pig is the perfect spot for brunch on a Saturday. Before a tasting, after a tasting, not tasting at all, you'll love your meal. The staff is friendly and helpful throughout the meal. To share, we got the roasted brussel sprouts and bacon, laid on top of a spicy aioli. For mains, we got the tuna poke (average size and of good quality), renegade potatoes (the egg was over cooked so the dish was missing that much needed liquid/sauce), and turkey club (MASSIVE sandwich great for splitting. The fries are amazing. Hell, just get the fries). Overall, good meal. Solid food.

This restaurant/bar I have visited over the past years and really enjoyed it. There's limited street parking but have been lucky for the most part, find one near the front door. We were short on time, trying to hit our next Wine tasting appointment. The menu has changed dramatically, a lot smaller than I remember. We asked our server for the quickest item to order. She said the smash burger and fries. It was good but I shoveled it down so quickly that I had to leave most of my fries. Next time, I would probably share the burger or try something a bit lighter. There was Carlton Bakery across the street that probably would be a faster option next time.

We were disappointed with our dining experience here. The food was fine, but the drinks were a disappointment. We were there on a very hot day with a heat warning. We were served water without ice and lukewarm beer. The live music was fun but it was so loud, you couldn't talk to the person across the table from you. Service was lacking. Our server forgot several things and rarely checked on us.

We sat outside & had drinks & lunch. Some interesting cocktails. Our group had a turkey sandwich, which they were very nice to split on 2 plates for us; Poke starter, fries & one of the salads. They were tasty.

What a great spot! Traveling thru the area - stopped for brunch. Yummm! Lots of on street parking available. Attentive waiter. Coke products (I'm not a coffee person). My friend said their coffee was very good. We both got the eggs Benedict. Very good. Loved the baby potatoes. Plenty of hollandaise sauce to dip bites of the egg benny in. Highly recommend

Braised beef with polenta .

The atmosphere is super fun! Small place and the food is amazing . I'm celiac as I've mentioned before and I got the Braised Beef with Polenta . There are other gf options here as well. Last time I got the fried chicken sandwich. Can't say enough good things about this small place.

Bahn mi sandwich

Enjoyed the tuna poke, Bahn Mi sandwich, and the olive oil cake. All were excellent! I highly recommend it.

American cuisine in a chill and casual setting. Discovered this place when driving south from Portland Oregon. The restaurant is located near several wine bars. The server was friendly and attentive. We coincidentally dined on a Friday night when they had a band perform. From what I heard the place does get busy at night. The food had quality ingredients and deliciously filling. The only thing to note is that there is only street parking. Make sure you don't park in the other businesses lot next door. The Larson House - Pizza

The Larson House

We ended up in Yamhill Oregon today for work and the Larson House was recommended for lunch. I am…read moreon a very strict diet at the moment (groan) and was really surprised that pretty much anything on the menu could be made wheat free and dairy free. I had the chicken wings and my wife had a personal pizza. Both were fantastic. This is a quaint restaurant in a 120 year old building. Service was prompt and efficient.

First time visiting left me with no strong opinions either way. First, the good. Service was…read moresuper friendly and efficient (more on that later). Cool building with a historic vibe akin to a McMenamins property. We had the yamhilly pizza, basically a meat lovers style. Toppings were fresh, quality pepperoni that didn't over compensate, tasty sausage that didn't leave a heart attack level of indigestion, and flavorful sauce. The bad - confusing as #3!! For a first visit. There is a kiosk/pay station near the end of the bar that suggests that like many pizza places, one is supposed to order there and find a table, but no menus readily apparent. No signage indicating whether you're supposed to just grab a table and hope someone notices, or if you are to wait to be seated. So, back to service; we stood for quite some time, made eye contact with at least two servers who just blew right on by with no acknowledgment. I finally had to stop someone and ask what the process is. We got waved to a table in the corner that wasn't clean, where we again stood for multiple minutes after which I had to again go flag someone down. There was, only one chair at the table, an abandoned half full drink and trash still there. However, as I said, once all that got sorted, service from there on was really good. The pizza crust was ok, not great. It was flavorful but was way undercooked leaving it just overly chewy and a bit doughy. But the worst was the overwhelming front and center hit of salt. Way, way too salty. It felt like eating a salt lick. I'm not sure where it was coming from, eating toppings individually didn't seem like any one item was the culprit but as a whole, wow. I'll definitely give it one more try, but more likely than not I'll order for takeout as it is an obnoxiously loud space.
