However, though it is huge, there is a warm, cozy atmosphere that reminds you of a mom and pop diner in a small town Hallmark film. LoL Once seated, we were greeted by Haven and Haven made sure to continue with the stellar service that stayed at the door. I loveeeeeeeee Haven. She was so pleasant. Very warm, attentive to the needs of the table, and had a bubbly personality that was ideal for a Saturday morning interaction. Me being me, I decided on French Toast and Hot Links with a Sweet Tea... Let's talk food... French Toast: Warm, crispy edges, chewy center, perfectly made, amazing flavor profile. I ordered one but now I know to order four next time because it was amazing. I'll use all my carbs for the day on these. Hot Links: I told Haven to tell the cook that I needed them dark like me and they understood the assignment. My hot links were crunchy on each side but meaty and juicy in the middle. Oh yes, these links were done right. Sweet Tea: Listen... Two Words: More Please!!! It was so good I needed a cup to go... trust... if you know me (or my reviews) you know I don't play about my sweet tea. Big Doug's sweet tea can be put in a bottle and sold at the front, because I need four of these as well. All in all, my experience at Big Doug's was amazing. It lives up to the branding of "Fried, Tried, and Southern Certified!" Ooh... I almost forgot... They have the cleanest and prettiest bathrooms this side of the Mississippi.
