Didn't know this place existed, but am glad it does because La Patrona was booked for the evening…read more Menu is pretty much the same, as is the service and the food. The food came out pretty fast. We loved the nachos as always, which are generously loaded with toppings. The tacos were solid (the al pastor and the pescado). We still had room after our meal and had a hard time deciding between dessert or a second plate of nachos, but ended up getting dessert instead. The tres leches was very nice - sometimes it can be a bit too sweet or moist, but this was just right on both fronts. The flan was also well done - nice texture and not too sweet. Seriously, there were no complaints during this meal, and I'd totally recommend coming here for a solid Mexican meal. Plenty of free parking outside.

No-one at 1 large table and only 4 of 10 or 12 at the other. The waiter took our drink order before noon and when they arrived, apologized for the time it took to bring the drinks. We ordered at that time and then...nothing. Literally at 1:00 he realized that we had not received our food. Both large tables were eating but not us. I tried to catch his eye but wasn't able to. He did apologize and paid for our meal and brought us dessert but honestly, at that point we weren't paying. It took an hour and 20 minutes to get our food. Simply abysmal! He probably forgot to put our order in but the fact he couldn't be bothered to check on us the whole time is really shocking. I won't be back and absolutely do not recommend this place.

We had also hear a lot about the Lo'ca market and wanted to try one of the restaurants within this new concept! We were not disappointed! The service was actually SO good, the food flavorful and filling and the atmosphere relaxing but fun. We highly recommend this place for a date night, a ladies night out or even a get together with family or friends! Yes it's a bit pricy but the food and wonderful service is really worth it!

The ambience was beautiful, perfect for a date night or a girls night. We had the bruschetta to start which was good, but it mentioned on the menu that it came with a balsamic glaze. Either it was left off or there was very little of it. I ordered the spicy rigatoni. Prior to coming into the restaurant I had a look at what the market offers. If I'm being honest, you could make it at home with their ingredients for cheaper than $30. Then we ordered the chicken Alfredo which was ravioli with the classic Alfredo sauce. Again, another thing that wasn't anything to rave about. Overall underwhelming experience food wise, but our servers was great and I l loved the ambience. 3.5/5. Most likely would not come back.

Our server was okay but probably could have been more attentive considering that the place was near empty. Good pub menu with east coast favourites. I generally order fish items here (the lobster rolls are my favourite) but this time I decided on something different. Both my best friend and I went with the Hali - Cheesesteak sandwich - Thin-sliced AAA Angus steak seared with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and green peppers, topped with melted provolone on a toasted baguette with garlic aioli. Served with fries. Food came out in a decent time. Actually this sandwich was pretty delicious. Not a huge helping but a decent amount. The steak was really flavourful and juicy. That with the mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese was a good combo. Fries were decent.

We got a table for 10 easily, while the spot wasn't really busy. Service seemed to die towards the end of our stay. Opted for their scallop and fries, at market prices, the scallops were tiny, and the batter was barely hanging on. Fries were barely salted, and she didn't give me any options for dip, aside from the ketchup. We stayed for about 3 hours, and our waters wee filled once, we needed to flag her down for drink requests every time. While our server changed halfway through, the new one was less than accommodating - more so rude. Overall, the atmosphere was great. Loved it for watching the game. Food was not worth it, and service was disappointing. Won't be back.

This menu is meant for sharing. We decided to split some dishes - the tuna crudo, the meatballs with grilled foccacia, and the cauliflower. There was some hits and some misses. The hits first - tuna crudo was great with fermented mango, coconut milk and sesame crackers. Fresh and exciting. The second one I loved was the meatballs. The sauce was amazing and meatballs were full of flavour. Make sure you order the bread to soak up all the sauce. These two I would totally recomend. The two that were disappointing was the cauliflower. It comes as a whole head and the idea is that you cut it into pieces. So the sauce doesn't really penetrate the cauliflower and the sauce was okay but seemed to berry forward. The pizza was worse. Barely any toppings except an obsene amount of arugla which didn't add anything to the dish. I had three peices and there was only two measly small peices of chicken. It also lacked flavour. Skip these. Saying that I would come here again to try some other things. But save your stomach and don't order the pizza.
