I got my second tattoo here as a cover-up. I did return after that, but only because the artists I…read moretrusted were still working there -- not because I felt comfortable with the studio itself. Since then, every artist I personally worked with at this studio has left. At this point, it's been four or five artists. I ultimately followed my artist after they left because I no longer felt comfortable in this environment. That decision came after seeing the same issues repeat themselves. Over time, I consistently heard the same concerns from different tattoo artists and clients. Artists described feeling uncomfortable, unsupported, and bullied. This level of turnover is not normal. Tattoos are permanent. When a studio repeatedly drives artists away, trust is broken. I cannot recommend this studio.

I just left Rt 9 a few hours ago and started looking for where I could write this review. The long…read morestory short: 5/5 I recommend it to anyone in the area. Full story: A few months ago I went in to sit down with artist Bosco Layne, and give him an idea of what I wanted. I had trouble voicing exactly what I wanted but I brought reference pictures of other work I liked and some of his that I liked. A few weeks later I saw what he came up with and was thrilled. I was still booked a little while out so I had two sessions booked to just make any revisions I wanted and then the appointment. Bosco came up with something I liked so much I didn't need any revisions so these meetings were moot, but I'm glad we had the time to sit between them and reflect that I didn't want to change anything out. That leads me to today. The appointment went great, and the tattoo came out better than I could have hoped. The pricing was more than fair, and I couldn't be happier. They take COVID precautions seriously, I was temperature checked and everyone was masked the entire time I was there. I will be coming back to them in the future if I add on to this or get new work done for sure.

I went in for a consultation with my service dog and just because I allowed my dog to say hi to the…read moreartist the owner said no dogs are allowed in the rooms and then changed it to it's up to the artist. This is in direct violation of Federal law under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Department of Justice which states unless the dog is going to be a direct threat to the health or welfare a business must allow a service dog to accompany their human where the public is allowed. When in a room having a tattoo done a legitimate service dog would be on the floor or at least on the opposite side of the artist who would be holding the leash. The owner didn't even ask me the 2 legal questions he just assumed because I allowed my service dog a little leeway to say hello that it's a fake and would be in the way of the artist. I've been in there before with my service dog and had no problems. The last tattoo is the one I'm getting covered that was done there a couple of years ago. If you have a service dog save a headache and don't go here for a tattoo or piercing. I did have a body cam on and he even stated that he knew that I was recording which being a private business he could have told me when I walked in to turn it off but never did!

I've had two seperate and completely different experiences here:…read more I got my navel pierced here and the piercing staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel intimidated and they were really good about explaining proper care. I also got my first tattoo here. It was small on my lower back. I'm going to be honest when I say the guy that did it was a total a-hole. He never told me how to sit, where to go, ask me where I wanted it or how big. He told me not to move and when I breathed, he yelled at me and gave me a "Jesus! I said don't move!" So, yeah that was not the best experience.

This place is a little hard to find off the highway because its nestled behind another building…read more The shop is tiny, but they have lots of tatoo designs to choose from, and lots of body jewelry on sale. I got my cartilege pierced here and they did a good job (all pierced with needles, no guns). I thought it was kind of expensive ($45 for making one hole) but the place was clean, and it was professional and they did their job, so I can't complain.

I went here for a $800 tattoo late last year- September 29th 2021, I truly feel like I threw my…read moremoney down the drain and almost feel scammed. Allegedly it was also a discounted piece :/ You can see the proof in the pictures below. The first tattoo appointment took around 8-9 hours and it looked good at first. I was super tired and just ready to leave once it got late. But I knew it was not done right when it started to heal. I have other tattoos and both of them look like I got them just a few months ago. When she did this tattoo the needlework was not done deep enough into the dermus layer and the entirety of the work went into the epidermus layer instead, since the cells in the epidermis heal quickly. I essentially had a semi permanent tattoo. This work caused it to fade rapidly. This tattoo was missing lines and outlines less than a month after I got it. Two months later I was missing whole sections of my piece and the middle parts of the flowers. The red from the lady bug was basically gone. While I believe Mrs. Pio is a talented artist, I do not believe she should be tattooing. I messaged her November 15th, less than two months after she did it, and we set up a touch up appointment for an additional $70 for mid December. The touch up appointment was easily 4 hours because almost all of the piece had deteriorated. I let her know beforehand that the piece needed a lot of work. I felt like I shouldn't have even paid for it. After the touch up, the piece definitely improved, however, it is a super light tattoo and the line work is not done well. There are still missing sections in the leaves and the body of the snake on my tattoo. The red from the lady bug is completely faded too. All in all, I would not recommend getting tattooed here or by this artist. The piece has not aged well despite me taking very careful care of it. I am now in the process of paying another artists to re touch the entire piece. I would also like to note there are very few pieces that this artist posts online that are actually healed. Most if not all pictures are right after it was done or retouched. I honestly feel like her portfolio was deceiving as I was super excited to get the piece done and it looked great right after. Based on the pictures on the profile I thought I was going to get a piece that looked very different. Please save your money and go to an artist with more experience and someone who posts all stages of their work on their portfolio.
