I get a lot of grub hub orders and had to try it myself for a quick bite. I ordered energy booster smoothie and a sweet chili shrimp salad. Their very quick to take your order and be though with it to be sure it correct here; am glad they value what you order here. after a very short wait since I was only customer at moment and most others were focused on online orders, so the smoothie was sweet but not overly sweet, I am guessing due to almond milk mellowing it out, still very refreshing, its blended so well. For the salad, all the greens were fresh and not wilted, salad dressing was very sweet and tangy, mandarin oranges were sweet and not mushy, sliced avocado was fresh and creamy, salsa was refreshing, and the chucks of pineapples made interesting, sweet then usually spicy salsa. shredded carrots and diced cucumber were alright, maybe carrot slices and cumber slices would been better. I did get a drink once before during an order and it was the Pineapple Pitaya lemonade, boy I thought pink lemonade was tart, this blew it out of the water, but in a good way, very sweet and refreshing, like a tropical breeze on a hot day. never had a lemonade like before and nothing won't come close to it, plus I appreciate they put a lot of fruit in it to infuse as much flavor as possible without resorting to heavy syrups. Instead had a peanut butter banana smoothie bowl, very very good but the large size was still pretty tiny. Thank God for this location. That's really all I have to say because if you care about putting the right things in your body but don't always want to take time to prepare it yourself blend is an amazing place. They have so many varieties of smoothies, bowls, wheat grass and other options. In post COVid times, you can call in an order to pick up or get delivery through one of those third-party delivery services but I usually call when I'm about 10 minutes away and my order is there waiting for me. I don't think I've ever gone there and seen the same person twice. Not sure if it's because I don't have a set time that I go or what but it doesn't seem to affect quality because it's always on point every time. read more

Honestly I don't often go to chain resturants... however I do love a good acai bowl and have to hit up blend as I haven't found another spot in the area that makes them.... perhaps I need to do some more research, but until then blend it is. This is was my first time going to their new location, which was decorated pretty nice and spacious with some outdoor seating as well. I've been to some really good acai bowl spots in my travels and this one is just average. The acai was still a bit frozen but the fruit was all ripe this time as it's sometimes not. The place could be cleaner... which was a little disappointing especially because they just opened up this new location. I went today to get a buffalo chicken wrap and the first time I got it the wrap was fantastic. But today the wrap was smaller then before and it was packed with so much cheddar cheese. Things have changed. As a vegan this was a great place to get a good salad, but their menu has changed. The kale was wilted, pickled beets were too sweet from added sugar, miso vinaigrette dressing was so thick and had added sugar as well. This establishment no longer serves tofu. I used to like ordering from here. Sometimes the avocado would be brown or the tomatoes wouldn't be ripe, but you could get a good juice or smoothie with a substantial salad. But now they don't have any vegan options! I don't understand it, is the demand not there? Everything has cheese or chicken or milk...why would you have options and then take them away? I want to love this place, I really do. However their inconsistency is maddening. It seems that it's especially bad in the summer, probably because of the number of teenagers they have working behind the counter. I'm not a wealthy woman by any means, so I'm usually a bring-my-lunch-to-work gal, but I used to treat myself to Blend on Fridays. At $7-10 a salad, it's more of a treat for me than an every day place. When I first started coming here 2 years ago, I was very impressed by the freshness of their ingredients and the nice big portions. The staff was friendly and they even remembered my name! This summer has been particularly bad. I paid $8 last week for a tiny salad that didn't even fill a small container they put the acai bowls in. The number of times they've gotten the order wrong and I've had to wait while they make a whole new salad is kind of absurd. The staff seems disorganized and overwhelmed and it's like nobody knows what their role is, so they're somehow doing everything and nothing at the same time. And worst of all, their produce has NOT tasted fresh lately. Wilted greens, over-ripe veggies, a weird stale taste to everything. I'm taking a break from Blend until things calm down in the fall. I'll check in with them in a few months and hope they've gotten it together. Until then, I'll keep bringing my lunch from home! read more

I came out to New Windsor because Blend is the closest shop offering açai bowls in my area, but I think I'll just have to swallow waiting for days in the city to really get my fix. Of course, I didn't expect the best bowl of my life but I was disappointed until the texture of the açai. Because a frozen banana was not used, the entire bowl tasted overwhelmingly creamy and like a straight banana smoothie. The prices are very reasonable and despite it's creaminess, the bowl tasted okay. The staff was very friendly, the shop could've been cleaner. If I find myself nearby craving a smoothie I might stop in but I don't anticipate coming for another bowl. read more

I grew up in this area and we desperately needed an option like this with healthier choices for food. Im embarrassed to say I just learned this existed after apparently being open for the last two years (Thank you Yelp). I was out with my mother and was craving an Acai bowl so I did a quick search and Blend was less than a mile away from me. It seemed too good to be true. I must have driven through and by the plaza it is in a thousand times before but never noticed it was there. Blend was fantastic; friendly service, a super expansive menu, and tons of healthy options from smoothies, wraps and quesadillas to acai bowls and cleanse shots. This was only made better by the great prices. I went with a Tropical acai bowl which was only 6.99 for a large (I am used to paying about 11-12 for the same thing in NYC). The taste and quality was so good that I ordered a second one to take home for later (peanut butter). My mother tried the Chicken Caesar wrap which she enjoyed quite a lot. A cool note too is that they offer free samples of their soups that they have prepared for the day, I tried the taco soup. My only regret is not learning about this place sooner, and I am certain I will be making many more appearances any time I am in the area. read more
