Davidoff Cigars are a cigar that I'd smoke every six month because they're way out of my price point. I have a 40 year old sports car and a 20 year old Jeep that has a forever lock on my wallet, my vices are prioritized. When I landed in Pittsburgh and settled into my hotel, I made a bee line to Blend Bar. Parking is either on the street or in a lot. After 6pm the street meters are turned off, I was lucky to find a parking spot right behind the bar. Walking in, Blend Bar is tastefully decorated. There are TVs up high and they're playing a Blend Bar loop. The music selection is a mix up of Nashville, classic rock and 80s. I'm totally in the zone at this point. Yinzers? I'm not seeing them, I would have like to seen these party people but It's Monday night and kinda quite. I walk in, introduce myself to the staff and asked to be pointed towards the humidor. Walking in, it's Cigar Nirvana. There are a large range of cigars and the price points are reasonable. I find a Davidoff cigar that costs the same to fill my tank but I'm here to smoke like a rock star so prices be dammed. Once I have my stick, I look at their liquor selections. Totally impressive Scotch choices. Usually, I'd drink a bourbon but since it's no holding back Ardbeg 10 Year Single Malt Scotch please and thank you. Now I had a Primanti Bros sandwich for lunch. I'm looking for something that's not too heavy so I chose a Hummus plate. The bartender brings out this huge plate with celery, carrots and toasted pita points. It was a lot, I couldn't finish it. I'm smoking and I walk over to the manager. We start talking about tobacco taxes compared to Boston/Rhode Island and PA. PA isn't too bad on Cigars, the state does tax to death Cigarettes. Blend Bar with Davidoff Cigars is a very cool cigar lounge in Pittsburgh. Very lucky to have found this during my brief stay in Pittsburgh. Trust me, there is nothing of this caliber in NYC or Boston.

I've been to the Blend in The Woodlands, TX many times so when I got to Pittsburgh PA, I was happy to see Blend here, and close to my hotel. They have a great set here. I started with a light dinner and then for what I can for, a great cigar and an excellent drink. That's just what I got. My cigar is a Camacho Connecticut and my drink was the Whiskey Rebellion (all from a local distillery called Liberty Pole. Blends are great cigar bars. I would recommend to anyone who appreciates fine things and the time to do it. And the food is pretty good too.

Dear Yelpers I don't use this lightly...but this is a 6 star place. We found this lovey gem after bar hopping and I'd take it all back to spend all my money here. They start by taking you into the humidor to hand select your cigar. Then they hand you a menu full of bourbons and wines galore. Not to mention flights from the local Pittsburgh distilleries! They did a great job with the ventilation as well. Never even noticed any other cigar smoke from the other patrons. BUT...the best part of the night may have been the pizza. It was AMAZING. We even added the sausage mix for extra flavor and honestly was the best pizza I may have ever had. The bar tender was amazing as well. Definitely worth a stop! Your friendly neighborhood foodie

Close to the convention center. Great great customer service - wonderful bar and a great selection of cigars with comfortable seating. Isn't that what you want in a cigar lounge? The only downside is that the selection is lifted to do it often on brands but honestly in the end I don't really care. Love Avalos and that's part of the family so I'm good to go

Just found this place around the corner from my hotel. Great knowledgeable staff, modern cigar lounge but with the the Golden Age feel of old Pittsburgh. Limited variety of cigars but I guarantee the staff can find you something that you like. The bar has an excellent selection of liquor as well as a wide variety of manager special drinks to pair with that perfect stick. I'll definitely be making this a must stop on my future travels to Pittsburgh.

This is a really cool, different cigar bar that's perfect to stop at on your way to PPG Paints Arena (short walk). Inside is really lovely. The bar is beautiful and so is the cigar room. There's plenty of seating with big comfy chairs and televisions. I always am here on off times so we've never had an issue finding a seat at the bar or being served quickly. My husband is a cigar lover and has gotten great service when buying or inquiring about the different cigars. If you're a beer drinker, the selection of tap beers is small but I think there was a decent selection of bottles. The drink menu has lots of great options as well. We've never eaten here but we've seen others with food and it always looks good, so we'll stop sometime and try that out next.

Great atmosphere, great ambience, excellent drink selection and our hostess Caroline was fantastic. It was my bfs bday and we wanted to go some place special. Had the opportunity to speak with the General Manager too, who was very nice. This could be our new favorite cigar bar. We will be going back soon.

So glad we found this hidden gem! Came at 11pm (they close at 12) and we were greeted with open arms. Cigars were stored at the perfect temperature, and their bourbon list was heavenly! Josie was also amazing! So glad they were there to take care of us! Welcoming and knowledgeable!

Nice classy place, no riffraff or drunk idiots whatsoever. They are a little on the expensive side and tend to attract some pretentious people because of it in my opinion. I'll gladly take that over watching yinzers fight and cause drama. Nothing to harsh your mellow haha. Very chill.

Remarkable place! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice bar. Smallish humidor, but very good selection. This place has "style". Check out the secret room if you get a chance!

When we walked in, the host greeted us right away, asked for our name, and seated us pretty quickly. There were actually a good amount of open seats, so I am not sure reservations were completely necessary, but it was still nice to have one. I honestly expected the inside to feel more extravagant and space themed, almost like an outer space vibe with more visual elements and atmosphere. I was hoping for something more immersive and futuristic. It was still cool overall, just not quite as visually dramatic as I imagined. We ordered an espresso martini and the Kiwi Nova. I really enjoyed my drink, especially after talking with the host who explained that they use scientific processes for their cocktails along with fresh purées and fresh ingredients. That is something I really appreciate because I am not a fan of drinks made with a lot of simple syrup or fake additives. He loved his espresso martini and said it was one of the best he has had. My drink was definitely on the sweeter side and I feel like too much of it might lead to a hangover, but it was still really good. Our server was attentive at first, but later on we ended up waiting a while to order another round. After sitting for a bit, we decided to order through the hostess instead and she got us taken care of right away. Overall, it was a cool experience mainly for the drinks. The cocktails were definitely the highlight. Service was okay, and I am not sure if we will return, but I am glad we finally got to check it out.

First of all you just feel welcome when you walk in the door. There is lots of bar sitting, along with some booths and even a couch. We usually grab some seats at the bar. There are frequently events going on and a wide range as well. Some events are ticketed, sometimes there is a cover and sometimes no charge. The artwork is great and all the fun photographs and sayings. Every time I'm there I spot something new. There is even a gumball machine with poetry in it. How cool. Most often we have gone for live music. This time we were in the area and just wanted to grab a drink. They did have a DJ though which was fun. It was also a great choice because they stay open late when so many local places close early. They do have a limited food menu but I have never eaten there. They have a variety of drinks ranging from non alcoholic to beer or wine, even cider. The cocktail menu is where it's at though. There are so many choices and some unique combinations. It's been fun trying so many. I think my favorite drink on the menu is Galeophobia which comes in a fun shark glass. It's fruity without being too sweet and the macadamia liquor adds just the right amount of nuttiness in the background. I seriously could drink several of them. The Spork House Punch is another favorite. Immediately *pinkies up* with the fancy little crystal mug. The pear and lemon gives such great flavor and it's well balanced and an easy drinker. It also feels like a good value with the amount you get. This time my fiancé tried Elvis' death and loved the toilet mug. He said it was tasty but a bit expensive for what it was so he probably wouldn't order it again. Fun bartenders, great drinks, good atmosphere, enjoyable entertainment.. what's not to love?

I've been to quite a few cigar lounges--and even worked at one--so I have a good sense of what makes a place stand out. Burn by Rocky Patel did just that on every level. The ambiance, décor, cigar selection, and service were all top-tier. It's a classy lounge with a twist of sports bar energy, which made it both elevated and fun. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day, and they had live entertainment--a violinist playing along to hip hop and R&B--which created such a unique vibe. Kayla, the bartender, let us know about the live entertainment the day before, it wasn't posted on their social media or website. She was attentive, sweet, and made excellent drinks. Evan, who was working the cigar side, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and communicated well with customers even during a heavy flow. One thing that really stood out was the crowd--mixed ages, mature, and plenty of ladies confidently partaking in the beautiful art of cigars, which I loved seeing. Even if you don't smoke cigars, the vibes in this place are worth the visit. If and when I return to Pittsburgh, this place is a must. It's also within walking distance to the stadiums, which is a huge plus. Feedback for management: The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the disconnect between locations and social media postings. There was an event listed on the website that wasn't actually happening at this location, while an amazing event that was happening wasn't shared online; which would have been a shame to miss. It may be worth considering in-house social media and website management to ensure updates are accurate and timely to the specific location.
