They have alcohol

New Years Breakfast with someone I adore! BLD's has been serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for as long as I can remember! Now they have alcohol too. Great service with a smile. Always making sure our coffee was full. Comfortable both style and table seating. I had the 12 ounce bone in steak with eggs. My darling had eggs and bacon. All cooked perfectly and nice size portions! Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking.

I recently tried BLDs country fried steak... this was a heart breakfast for sure haha it would be a great meal after drinking, I took one bite and my face dropped in shock of how much I loved it... I realized something after the fourth bite, this is way too tender to be steak. It's more of a ground beef texture. Which I guess is pretty common, "beefsteak" is often a ground beef texture from mechanical tenderizing or actually just ground beef that frozen and fried. Either way, it's delicious but I did sort of want that bite you get from a steak. Then again, I devoured this delicious beast way too fast. I'm getting it again, next time with pancakes Since I've gone back, I've realized they really are hit or miss; a miss in particular the other night was an order of fried chicken. It was ordered to come with French onion soup, (this was bland and awful) roasted red potato, (this was regular potato home fries style but mushy and bland) and the chicken itself was overdone and not overly terrible, but not good or great either. The biscuits n gravy did not satisfy as it too tasted like nothing.

The atmosphere here is perfect it's so homey you feel like you're with family!! It's my first time here and was not what I expected but absolutely LOVED it! Our waitress was hands down the best she was nice, happy, super friendly and on top of things!! I got the Mikes wrap which was so good if you like spicy food my husband got the ultimate turkey club and boy oh boy was that amazing (if you've ever been to the milleridge inn years ago it was like that!!) I started with French onion soup super delicious! Our daughter got the kids Mac n cheese with nugget and she rated it herself as an A+! We will certainly be coming back and I want to bring my family!

Food is always good. Service is also good. Feels like you're in your home. And prices are also reasonable.

Though I prefer to support small local businesses, this is inexcusable. You don't have to be a Chef to understand that this is NOT how you do a French Onion Soup to go. You do NOT place the cup under the broiler. There were actually pieces of charred cup in the soup. Not to mention the cheese itself was beyond browned. Also, the Med Rare Burger was well done. Clearly, you need a new kitchen staff.

Hair in the food

If you like hair in the food be sure to order from here if not let them know to hold the hair from your food I would. Check for hair in your food before you eat it Never will I order from here again ..........

The pancakes!! Must try.

BLD's is the diner you've been looking for. Warm, family-owned vibes, plenty of parking and tables, and a huge menu to drool over. Perfect for a chilly winter brunch - or probably any meal! The service is friendly and fast and the food is absolutely delish. My favorite thing about the menu is that if you order eggs, you can get them with toast & hashbrowns OR a small stack of pancakes - and the pancakes are to die for!! I'm hooked on BLD's and I can't wait to go back and try their lunch and dinner food.

Came here with a friend and we have become regulars! He always gets the gluten free pancakes and says they are the best he's had. The tuna melt is mind blowing and so buttery. The chicken fried steak is so good and reminds me of growing up in the South. I got the chocolate cake last time and it was a little dry but generous portion and a big scoop of ice cream on the side! Service can be slow but prices are good as well

It was a nice experience overall, the food was good but greasy in my opinion, and the ambiance was really decorative with home vibes/Halloween stuff. The server was attentive, and we got to use a check in coupon for the bill. Overall 4 stars.

Nice and homey type of spot to grab breakfast at any time of the day. Pleasant service, nice portions with good value, clean and decorated with an Americana feel. They really celebrate all those who serve in uniform here - military, police, firemen, and more. Plus, if you're of an older generation or just enjoy 50's type of music that's what the play over the speakers here. Our meals came out quick, hot, and tasty. No complaints.

After a karate pick up got there at 4 today with my grandson..success they serve breakfast all day!! Our server Brianna was excellent. The place was charming with its Americana decor. I've passed it many times & decided to give it a try. My grandson said he & his parents were there a few times & they liked it. I had the most delicious Patty Melt with a side of fries that were crisp hot & seasoned perfectly. I especially enjoyed it because I was juicy with onions & melted cheese that oozed from the side. DELISH!! I love these little finds..give it a try soo good.

Nicely decorated, pleasant waitress, good coffee . Omelet was delicious just as I ordered , service was quick but was able to sit and talk without feeling like I had to leave. Would recommend

There's a good selection of FD sandwiches along with the usual burger, sandwich and wraps along with a decent selection of appetizers. The sampler appetizer included your standard apps: potato skins, mozzarella sticks, wings & onion rings with sauces was slightly overpriced at $22.50 but still good and could pass as a meal itself. The best choice was the French Dip sandwiches all cooked to perfection and well portioned served with French Fries. Callout to our server Jessica was outstanding. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable with some excellent sandwich suggestions. Restaurant features a full bar area, dining area with table service and a section of the dining area that can be converted to a private room for special events. Overall a great little pub with attentive, friendly ostaff serving excellent French Dip sandwiches at reasonable prices.

When driving to it there was parking out front for their customers which was great. Walked inside and there's plenty of seating either at the bar or at their tables. I asked if they can play the knicks game and they changed two TV monitors. Which was very nice of them to do. Anyways, their menu was very extensive. It took me a bit to look through it. I decided to order the bone less wings, the French onion dip sandwich, and last but not least the cheesecake with raspberry sauce drizzled on top. The wings were delicious and it fiee me up even though it was just an appetizer.

They called me two days before to confirm and said they had a 1:30 available, I started asking questions about the food more being suited toward lunch or breakfast, a bit snippy they put me on hold, I txt my wife quick and she said take the 1:30, the woman gets back on the phone and says sorry someone on the other line just took the 1:30... Toast at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma is worth a visit if looking for creative breakfast…read more The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and a comfortable place to sit down. Service was good overall--friendly and attentive. We ordered the carrot cake French toast, and it was honestly delicious. It leaned more toward dessert than breakfast--very rich, sweet, and a huge portion. Definitely something you could share, because finishing it solo is no small task. Also tried the bangers omelette, which was a bit of a mixed experience. The omelette itself was excellent--plenty of sausage, and the caramelized onions with Irish cheddar were a great combination. Really flavorful and well done. Came with homemade rye, awesome. That said, I wasn't happy with the home fries. I had asked for them to be well done, but they came out undercooked anyway. I did mention it to the server but nothing came of it, which was a little disappointing. The home fries also included a mix of what looked like russet and sweet potatoes--I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes at all! I wish that had been noted on the menu. On a positive note, the fresh-squeezed strawberry lemon mimosa carafe was very good, and at $28 it felt like a fair price. Overall, a solid spot with some standout items, but a few small misses from my experience. I'd still come back, just with a better idea of what's on the menu.

The Cookie Dough pancakes..... that mix with syrup..... sweet and lovely. A nice breakfast dessert. I loved seeing the manager move around and asking if everything was on. The server gave a good recommendation. The executive chef came out and I bowed. He laughed and talked with me. I complimented the entire menu of options and my meal.
