Was craving a chicken sandwich so made my first visit to Blazin' J's. I was satisfied overall. I went with the J's way sandwich combo. It was a fried chicken sandwich dipped in specialty house hot sauce w/ pepper Jack cheese, Hot House Mayo, & Pickles. The quality reminds me of Shake Shack but bigger and thicker crust. The hot sauce had a good kick and didn't make the chicken soggy. I was impressed that the breading held up to the sauce but also had a good breading to meat ratio. I felt like I could taste the heat of a dry rub on the chicken as well. It was a nuanced sauce! Fries very similar to 5 guys, maybe a tad on the dark side, but i did hear them getting cooked up for my order so they were nice and hot and crispy. Another review mentioned the cheap ketchup packets - true! But with the side of spicy mayo, I didn't need any ketchup. Service was friendly. Seating area was a dirty despite being within an hour of opening - minus 1/2 star. It was also expensive at over $17 for a combo - minus 1/2 star.

I was in the area and decided to give them a tried and I am glad I did. First the options are huge. So tasty everything was flavorful, just know everything is made to order so theirs a wait time for your food. The location is clean and can sit bigger party's. Parking is available but at times you might have to walk a little bit this plaza gets full. The lady at the counter was helpful and so patience when I was trying to figure out what I wanted.

Amazing chicken sandwich & fries

Great addition to TCNJ. 1) The J's Way Chicken Sandwich is amazing. The house hot sauce is fantastic. 2) The cut fries are excellent. I enjoyed it. 3) The Belgian waffles are good, if you crave something sweet. Thought, TCNJ Campus town has few good dessert options. 4) Best part, they are tons of charging station. So, phone battery running low, not an issue. Glad this place opened up in TCNJ and Ewing Township, NJ.

There's something about a chicken sandwich that just hits the spot. Whether it's crispy or grilled, spicy or mild, there's no denying the satisfying crunch of the breading and the juicy tenderness of the meat. It's the perfect meal for any time of day - breakfast, lunch, or dinner. So if you're craving a chicken sandwich, go ahead and indulge. Treat yourself to that crispy, juicy goodness that you've been daydreaming about. Your taste buds will thank you.

While the location is very attractive for the students in the nearby college my visit from out of town was merely okay. Walking in and looking around you get a real sense of sterility, like the owners never left Covid behind. Tables are widely spaced, the cheap ketchup (I am totally a Heinz snob) is only served in packets and the drink machine is behind the counter. The person behind the counter was wearing a mask. I chose to eat outside although the table I chose was quite wobbly. Service was very slow, probably due to one cook in the back and one person up front. I had to wait over twenty minutes to get my meal. The menu is very limited, which is fine, but the standard chicken sandwich was just okay. Other than location you'll be much better off at Chick-fil-A, although Blazin' J's offers a nice break when you want a different chicken sandwich.

Chicken Bites, Chicken Sandwich and side salads.

Checked out Blazin' J's today over by the College of New Jersey and loved it. The hubby ordered their signature spicy chicken sandwich and I ordered the chicken bites. Both were delicious. We really appreciated the option for getting a side salad as we are both a bit tired of the usual fries. The salad was very fresh and we loved all the dressing options. The staff were very friendly, the place was incredibly clean and comfortable. We'll be back!

Make Your Own Chicken sandwich. (Half-eaten) so good.

Have had takeout from here twice, and it's just as good as Chik Fil-A. Their sandwich is delicious.

I wanted to avoid some of the usual suspects, and came across Prince and it's high reviews. So I decided to give it a shot. The place doesn't look like much from the outside - your typical chicken take out joint. There's barely any seating inside but it's not the type of place where you hang out from what I can tell. It's pretty basic inside with a chest of drinks and a simple counter. The menu is mostly focused on chicken and with good reason - they make it really, really well. We took our orders back to work with us and after opening the bags, others in the office were immediately intrigued by what we had brought back. I'm not sure what they season it with, or what they fry it in, but the fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Very juicy with a thin but perfectly crisp crust and a great flavor. The only downside is that the sides were meh. The mashed potatoes were the same as you'd get at any chicken place (KFC, Popeyes) and the biscuit was dry and uninspiring. But man was that chicken fantastic. So, pick up a chicken meal or just get some chicken and make your own sides - this place is a diamond in the rough.

I ordered takeout from bb.q Chicken in Princeton, a place that proudly announces its allegiance to…read morepoultry right in its name. Naturally, I decided to ignore that and go rogue. I ordered the Rose Ddeok-Bokki, described as a less spicy, more creamy variation of the classic Korean street dish made with rice cakes and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy chili reduction. When I brought the bag back to the lunch room, my coworker took one look at the container and said, "Wow, that's a big bowl." Then I opened it, and we both learned a hard truth about perspective. The bowl was half empty. Not metaphorically. Literally. Still, what was inside was so good that I found it difficult to stay disappointed. The sauce was rich, layered, and deeply flavorful. It hit all the right notes. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and just complex enough to make you stop between bites and think, whoever made this knows what they're doing. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, the fish cakes soaked up that sauce like old friends. I'll admit, I regretted not ordering a side of rice to make the most of what sauce was left behind. That mistake will not be repeated. All in all, bb.q Chicken impressed me. The food was excellent, the drop off smooth, and the promise of even better things to come, namely their actual chicken, makes me look forward to a return visit. Next time, I'll bring rice and a healthier sense of optimism about bowl volume.

Since I am always interested in hunting down new food, especially within several miles of my house, I Yelped this place up and looked at the photos and menu and went right in. This is a cafeteria style restaurant with eat in tables, but I suspect for lunch most of the business is take out. They had a variety of items you can choose a lunch combo from which usually includes a protein and two sides. I opted for the salmon, green beans and plain rice. There were many other options, like fried chicken, jerk chicken, etc. as well as many other sides like mac and cheese, yams, greens, salmon fried rice, etc. While waiting in line for my turn, the slices of carrot cake (various cakes were positioned on a table on the side of where the line forms) and I were having a staring competition, so I got two for "the kids". Finally while ordering my meal, the jerk chicken looked interesting so I got a side of that, expecting to have a piece at home and share the rest with my family (just to try it out to see if it was any good). My salmon was moist and flavorful, the green beans was cooked well and still maintained their crunch (don't forget this is cafeteria style so things are not cooked as you order) and the rice was super flavorful. Ate that in my car and was extremely happy. However, the amazement started when I got home. I tried a piece of the jerk chicken and was simply in awe that I never knew this place existed. I had one piece and when I returned a few hours later to try another, the entire portion was gone!! My wife told me it was the best chicken she has had in a long time. Now the carrot cake, not made there, was ridiculous as well. The icing was rich with a slight bit of tang. Of two pieces for "the kids" one ended up in my stomach and the other in my wife's! I returned today and got three orders of the the jerk chicken and they threw in one of the moistest most flavorful corn-breads I have had. Definitely my top 5. Unfortunately no carrot cake (thank Gd for my waistline). If you guys are reading this, your food kills it, thank you! If you happen to be in Trenton, live in Morrisville or Yardley, you are missing out if you don't try the Big Easy! Home style cooking with lots of attention to detail and lots of love and it tastes like it 100%
