We were unfortunate enough to have a septic emergency -- water and other items were backing up into the shower! It had been 5.5 years since we had our tank serviced, and now we needed help ASAP. Well, fortunately I called Blazer, and they were able to come out the very next day and pump out our tank for us. Turns out the clogged filter is what was causing our back-up. But it was time for a pump-out as well. The guys who came were all very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and showed us what to do from now on to keep our tank in tip-top shape. They will always be the ones I call. read more

Repaired a water Leak from main line to house that was over saturating my front yard and felling up my tank and deep well. Was at my house for 3 hours taking care of something thats not even in Rigo's job description. You can't go wrong using Blazer for your septic . needs. Ask them to go out and received a call for invoice payment the next day. I was unaware repairs were made due to their failure to call and update me (this is for a rental unit). A week later the tank filled up & I called again. Took 2wks for a call back agreed numerous attempts. The owner went back out this informing me the pit needed replacement. And wanted to charge over $1000.00 to pump and put chemicals. He failed to do his job by initially checking the pit causing me additional cost. Per other septic companies they were to check the pit as a part of inspection protocol. I would not suggest this company to anyone. He lied starting my pump was serviced 3 months prior when I have phone records and payment receipts for service. If I child give less stars I would have. read more

Blazer did a septic inspection for property we purchased a year ago. Provided a much less than adequate diagram of where the tank was located. Never marked it with stakes......nothing. Needless to say, when we just discovered a MAJOR problem with the line, Blazer was not called. We referenced YELP and discovered another business with 51 reviews and five star rating. We called them. I was charged $650 for a pump and cert. My system was failed due to location of the tank. Rigo quoted me $8k to fix the problem. My home sale is on the verge of falling through because of this failed report. After calling City Hall I was notified my home is grandfathered in and the blueprint of my home was indeed signed off by the city in 1987. To top off my experience, my landscape was obliterated and care was not taken in filling the two holes. Terrible first experience! read more

If I could give lower I would. They broke my septic line and left it. When I tried to call I would get no answer and when I finally did I was pretty much told "oh well". We called John the Plumber and they did a great job and came right away. Do not use Blazer, they overcharge, unreliable, and down right crooks. As of right now I'm getting a lawyer to have them pay for the damages and refund me my money. Don't get in the same situation as I got into. Go with John the Plumber in Tehachapi. read more

I called Rigo to pump out the septic tank as I was told by Tehachapi plumbing it was full. He showed up and said it looked fine, he had worked on this septic before and knew the property. He figured out that the sewer line was blocked, nothing going into the septic and referred me to Richard Rooter Guy, who stopped by and cleaned out the blockage. Rigo didn't charge me anything and was the most helpful, I had 2 other plumbers stop by and they didn't help at all. I would call Blazer septic again if I need help. read more

I was also charged $650 for a pump and certification which failed. We were told we needed a new leech field which would have to be put in the backyard at a cost of $5000 to $15000 (pretty devastating when you're trying to sell a house). A $1300 percolation test was ordered. The husband and I decided to get a second opinion. Lo and behold, nothing was wrong with our leech field to begin with. What a racket! So we paid for a completely unnecessary percolation test and got stuck filling in one of the massive holes in the backyard. read more

Rigo is the man. He came this morning after I called for a septic tank pumping. I hadn't had the tank pumped ever (30 yrs.). A plumber came last night and told me I was going to need new Leach lines for sure (permit, percolation test, new lines = BIG DOLLARS!). Rigo broke up the solids, continually sucking up the liquids, and exposed the leach line pipe. He ran a hose line down the pipe for awhile and stated that my leach line was fine. Rigo was a nice man. Showed when he said he would. Did a great job pumping my septic tank. He assured me that my leach line was fine, even after I was told it needed replacing. I recommend Rigo of Blazer Septic Service. These guys were great! They were careful with our landscape when looking for the lids to our tank, which we appreciated since we only had a vague idea where they were located... under or near a planter/rose garden. They put down tarp on which to pile the dirt when digging, then carefully filled the hole back when finished. You would hardly know they were in our yard by the time they finished. We would recommend these guys over the large company in town (the one who also supplies propane), whom we used the last time. The guy from Blazer also told us about a product we could use monthly to maintain our tank. Rid-X, that we can pick up at Home Depot or buy online thru Amazon. They were quick and efficient! read more

I called Rigo fora septic cleanout and he came out and found a blockage in the pipe after the tank. He was nice enough to dig a hole where the problem was and said the issue was 6 inches down from where he had dug. I dug with shovels and didn't find anything so I called Rigo up and explained the problem. He told me he would be out in 6 days and never showed. I called him and he said he was too busy with septic cleanouts. If you want your septic tank cleaned out, he's your man. If you want any other service or a man that will do what he says....Look elswhere. read more

I had referred Riggo many times and had never had any issues. One of my customers had told me he no showed and never called. They took the day off and waited all day for him. They called me to find some one else. I also needed an I inspection on my system and contacted him to schedule two in one day right down the road from each other. He locked down a date and assured me he would get them both done. On the day of the inspection I called him to confirm and he told me he was not coming. I made changes in my own schedule as well as my customers to facilitate the appointments. I also made provisions for equipment to be on site to ensure he could get his truck to the septic tank. Absolutely will not recommend him again and would advise others to find a contractor who values your time and does what he says he is going to do. read more
