It is poppin' in here!! The line is dragging almost out the door, but the staff moves fast. They do an assembly line, which is needed to run a concept like this. I love the crust. It's thin but also not burnt to a crisp and still a tad chewy. I mixed the white and the red sauce and I really recommend doing this! On mine, I put mozzarella, Italian sausage, pepperoni, red onion, basil, artichoke, mushrooms, and a pinch of oregano. I usually don't like sausage but this sausage was very good. This pizza place is rocking!! Went Friday night with my daughter and as soon as I drove into the parking lot we were like WTH, the line was out to the sidewalk! Like 50 people no kidding! I'm not sure if it's like this all the time, but I figured it's because it's the weekend before classes start at UF and everyone and their momma is in town. Well we usually don't bother when it's that crowded unless we know the place is good. So got a good parking and decided to make the line. Well, let me tell you those young employees were hustling, working their butts off! Each and everyone of them. As soon as you get to order your pizza they ask for your name; spell it out if you have to; they'll write it on the pizza paper. Order one of their signature pizzas or BYO (build your own) for the same price, think it was like 8.25 or 8.75. Also, the menu said 2 topping pizza plus cheese, plus a meat, but I ordered my BYO with two cheeses, chicken, mushrooms, onions, and spinach and it was still the same price. The guy in front of me had so many toppings it looked like a little mountain. So that gives you an idea of what to expect when ordering your pizza. The pizza is thin crusted but they have a high rise dough for an extra cost. I did see some that came out of the oven be unevenly high on some parts of the crust, but I'm sure still really good. Another thing I also love about this place, is that if you're vegan like my daughter, and let them know you are, they'll ask you if you want them to change gloves before handling your toppings. Very nice and considerate of them. The pizzas are very yummy and they work super fast! From the time we got there until we sat down was like 15 mins. There's usually a long line but don't be scared off by it they move pretty quickly. We got lucky and didn't have to wait very long. You can customize your pizza with basically whatever you can imagine. It's one set price for as many toppings as you'd like! I ordered a customizable pizza and asked for white sauce with mozzarella and parmesan, fresh basil, roasted garlic, and oregano. I didn't love the roasted garlic it was pretty big chunks and I ended up picking them off my pizza, but it gave the pizza a nice flavor. They also have quite a few delicious lemonades to choose from in addition to the regular sodas. The employees are extremely friendly. One of them even brought us to-go boxes to our table! They also have several drinks that look like they're freshly made a mango drink a blood orange drink in a strawberry drink. I've been to a lot of Blaze Pizza places and this one is one of the better ones. I used to really enjoy this place but since I used to eat it so often, I kinda got tired of it. There are other make your own pizza places but to be honest Blaze is much better for vegetarian options. Pieology is really not that good for vegetarians. I've had much better vegetarian pizzas. A great place for cheap eats. Saw it on yelp and thought we would check it out. Lots of choices and we went with our old standards to try it out. Thin crust and very good red sauce. Not too much but enough for flavor. Cheese was delicious. Combine that with fresh ingredients and it is a quality product. Only observation was we ordered three pies and one came out five or six minutes ahead of the others and they let it sit. Not sure the process is optimized for family orders.
