This is a very long & overdue review! My opinion of this place has changed over time. I was a VERY loyal blaze customer, I'm talking once a week, when they were in San Jose on Coleman because it's close to my work. Then they sadly closed down & I had to go to the south San Jose one, on blossom. Then THEY CLOSED TOO! I was so sad that I had to keep driving up to Fremont every time I wanted my "build your own" pizza. This is such a great place to go w your picky friends/family bc if they don't like their pizza, it's their own fault because they designed it Anyway I'm writing this review because this place has changed sooo much in the last couple of months. They have new management and virtually have an entire new team working. This team is hard working, communicative, & diligent. And yes, with pizza, it's THAT serious. The crew that was working on Thursday September 3rd. Perfectly spread out toppings, staff all communicating with each other, orders made to order. Completely superb. We asked for extra crispy and they delivered. Prior to this team, we asked for extra crispy and the middle was still raw. It really is that serious!!! read more

I came by to get pizza at a Friday night. There seems to be issues with service regarding to understaff and some attitude from one of the employees. I can see that there's a bunch of people waiting not just from getting their pizzas but even ordering them, which is probably why it took about 30 minutes to get mines. Regards to one of the staff members, they seem to have an overwhelming moment that they kinda carelessly throw toppings on some of the pizzas. I get that working there can be exhausting especially when there's like only 3 workers, but there's no need to throw toppings on the pizza like that. Also, the glass that borders the pizza ingredients is bent. I have no idea how that happened, but they should either fix it or replace it. Slow, unfriendly, and not a well maintained store. Cross contamination health code violation. The guy making the pizza was operating the cash register with the same gloves. No, I'm not reporting it because I'm not coming back. Ordered at 4:15pm. Order came out at 4:50pm. 35 mins. Don't order online, would've been faster to just line up. Missing ingredients. The photo I uploaded of the two pizzas is actually "supposed" to be identical. Arugula was scrubbed from bottom of the pan. mushroom on one and not the other. Cheese was scarce. No apologies for the delay or thank you. Every table was dirty (does it ever get wiped?). Floor had crumbs all over. Seats all over. Homeless looking lady coming out of the bathroom. Blaze once stood for pretty solid pizzas with great customization options at really really affordable prices. As they've continued to go downhill over the past few years in quality, topping generosity, consistency and cost, pretty much all they have left are their customizations. But sadly the prices have gone up while consistency is in the gutter. And consistency is key. Today was the last straw. I've stayed loyal to Blaze since the very beginning, but I can stand their failures no more. Today, our crusts were thin like saltine crackers, and burnt to a crisp. What ever happened to the high rise option anyway?? I mean I was paying a pretty penny for it and fine with that. Our toppings on both pies, extremely skimpy. Basically, 5 pieces of toppings per slice. Is losing another loyal customer really worth a few pennies saved? Oh and those few measly toppings were torched too btw. Anyway, I'm done with you Blaze. My wife and I retuned to Blaze Pizza the other day for lunch. We both selected a " Build Your Own" pizza, so we could select the toppings we each prefer. It's such a joy to be able to pick exactly what you want on your pizza. We both also opted for the original crust with red sauce. Their service is always quick and the staff are helpful. We found a table and helped ourselves to soft drinks. Neither of us were able to finish the whole pizza, so we grabbed a box and brought them home to enjoy later. The restaurant was clean and pretty quiet, considering they were fairly busy. We always enjoy a solid meal at Blaze. read more

Blaze always hits! and extra hard on pie days. I went for the BOGO deal and they delivered as usual! I got the spicy red sauce and all the toppings with pesto and balsamic glaze. And ofc I got pineapple on my pizza! I really like how their crust is super flaky and honestly I cannot tell it's fast food but somehow any combo of toppings I try it always taste the same LOL. They were quite busy because of Pie day but parking isn't too bad since this is a huge plaza. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. read more

Happy pi day 2026! Their celebratory discounts are getting worse each year. First time I've tried this... it was $3.14 per pie now it's buy 1 at full price and the second as $3.14 Without a line, the wait was 45 minutes With a line, it took 1 hour Supposedly you couldn't online order And on the ordinary, it's empty But omg, the crust and bottom were black af (with the super high turnaround, should've known they'd have no desire to clean the area) Two slices in... I couldn't. I completely felt like them YouTubers or influencers taking a bite and throwing the rest away. Love their variety of toppings you can pick from Different crusts are a $4.50 extra Usually after baking, you can add stuff but nobody seems to know this...person involved in this was more than happy to accommodate (+1) Tables and chairs were only clean if the guests cleaned it themselves. Napkins were far and wide. Strange how they regulated this. In the pizza wasteland known as East Bay South, Blaze is a decent pick. It always a good feeling to see your pizza going into and out of a ripping hot oven and not from a conveyor belt or cardboard box. I feel like the store (and the surrounding area) have seen better days. The service was great, the drink area was a bit lacking and the tables and could've used some TLC. read more

I enjoy their pizzas however the employees are really miserable here. They are always out of toppings and the shakers are always empty. The cup lids are always empty too. Tables don't get cleaned. It gets busy so I understand. It just seems like a poorly run location. I heard they will close 1/3 of all locations, I hope this isn't one of them. It's also been awhile since I've been here, but the price increase shocked me. A build your own is now $15+. I really wanted to like this place because, honestly, the pizza is actually good--assuming they actually get your order right. Unfortunately, the "service" here is a total disaster and completely ruins the experience. It's a coin toss every time I order. Half the time the order is wrong, and the other half, I'm literally missing an entire pizza when the delivery arrives. How do you forget a whole pizza? The vibe inside is even worse. The staff looks absolutely miserable, like they're being forced to be there against their will. If you have the audacity to ask for extra toppings, they get incredibly rude and act like you're personally offending them. Three pizzas and two sides for $35? This deal can't be beat in this day and age! If there's a pizza you've loved in the past, but it's not on the menu board, they'll happily whip it up if they have the ingredients on hand. I recalled one with pesto and chicken and right away the cashier said "oh the green stripe! We can make it for you." Fresh ingredients on a super crispy crust. The side salad, specifically the BLT was packed! The caprese was a bit skimpy on the tomatoes but they were generous with the best part: the fresh mozzarella cheese. What happened to Blaze in Fremont??? We used to come here when the Build Your Own (BYO) was $8 and the line was out the door. Over the years, our visits decreased as the prices increased (but the line was still out the door whenever we drove by). We haven't been there in a while so decided to hit them up again last night (12/5). Now almost $15 for a BYO! Two parties in front of us, so virtually no line (the whole place was not crowded at all...maybe 5 tables were occupied and not that many more as our time at Blaze ticked on) but a lot of online orders were coming in. We ordered two BYO pizzas and no drinks ($31.51 total). The nice woman taking our order put ours in front of all the online orders. The guy making our pizzas was not rude but clearly in a hurry (so many online orders coming in). He was very skimpy on the toppings. I had to ask for a "few more artichoke hearts" and he put 1 (ONE) more on. 6 (six) tomato halves...just enough for one per slice! The onions were mostly just thrown in the middle of the pizza. And when I asked for garlic, I forgot to say "chopped" and he just automatically grabbed the roasted cloves. I tried to tell him "wait, no, the chopped garlic" but he was already throwing on the cloves while whirling around to put my pizza on a rack. I think my husband got three chunks of chicken on his pizza (I was so disgusted that I forgot to take a photo). The family of 4 (four) in front of us got their pizzas in normal time (5-ish minutes). Our pizzas somehow got mixed in on the pizza racks with the online orders and didn't go in the oven right away. Employees were horsing around and fist-bumping and generally ignoring customers. Our order was FINALLY ready a whopping 27 (TWENTY-SEVEN) MINUTES later! TWENTY-SEVEN!! The toppings have just gotten WAY chintzy and the service is less than mediocre. We didn't notice anything off with the cleanliness. We didn't get any drinks but we could see other customers who did and one of the drink dispensers on the soda machine was not working. Also I forgot what the juice is that they have but the orange one is ALWAYS low or empty, and no different last night. We're giving 1 star because we have to and technically, the pizza is still good. read more

Worst service ever! Don't even bother with going to this location. Ordered through the mobile app a personal pizza and meatballs. I show up a few minutes after I order and find out the meatballs weren't available. The worst part was the pizza. The ETA Of the pizza was 1:09 pm, 15 minutes after I placed the order. When I arrive around 12:57 pm, the guy tells me to give them 5 minutes. There is no one there. Then a line of 4+ people arrive. I'm waiting patiently thinking they're working on my pizza before the others , until I hear names being called that aren't mine. Everyone was friendly, but I especially want to recognize Ciara for going above and beyond. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. I'm going to be generous and give them 3 stars. The first thing I'll say is with one exception, everyone seemed to be giving a reasonable effort - there was one guy who had a dgaf attitude. Line was a bit slow even with the "build your own" but not terrible. They were disorganized in the cooking. When we got there they only had one pizza in the oven at a time. However, that got up to 5 a few minutes later. The rack they stack them on for queueing got out of order, so they weren't being cooked in the order the order was taken. Also, they usually have a system where they match the little metal numbers they stick on your pizza with the paper they put in the box. Somehow that got screwed up too, so the guy taking the pizzas out and serving them got all screwed up (he was trying). Also, for some reason, no one scraped the burnt pizza remnants out of the oven. Every other Blaze I've been to does that every few minutes. They even had to refund someone else's pizza because it was so burnt. When I've been to other Blaze locations if you order a dessert, they put it in the oven and warm it for you. I ordered a brownie and asked if I could get a corner. The young lady at the register told me the only ones she had were pre-wrapped that day. And in fact she wouldn't sell me one (and I am happy she did this) because they weren't fresh. Not too crowded, but very loud, especially with the music. I lucked out and got the last cup lid, but it must have sucked for everyone after me. Also, one of the napkin dispensers had a ton of dust all around it like it hadn't been cleaned in - well long enough to build up a ton of dust. My pizza still tasted great. Bottom line: not thrilled, but not mad either. Wouldn't be my first choice to go back to, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay away either. read more

I hate to post this but this was one of the worst experience I've had in a long time. The problem is the restaurant is under staffed. Two people trying to manage a lunch crowd on a Saturday! The new ETA has now been pushed to 11:01 PM -- that's a 90-minute wait for one pizza from a place that literally markets itself as "Fast Fire'd." Meanwhile my son and I are sitting here starving, watching the tracker like it's a hostage situation. DoorDash support has apologized more times than Blaze has flipped a pizza tonight. If you're staffed too thin to handle delivery orders, turn delivery off. Walked to the counter to the worker and he took our order. Pizza you can choose from the menu or you Dan pick your toppings, sauce etc. (it's kind of like MOD pizza.). And when you finished with ordering your pizza, you pay and wait for your name to be called. 1. This evening's service (June 8, 2026 Monday 6pm) was the worst one we have experienced compared to all of our previous visits. There were only two employees working, and both were unfriendly and unprofessional. They either ignored customers' questions and requests or responded in a rude manner that felt almost like they were yelling at customers. 2. Many ingredients were unavailable during our visit. We paid for "Build Your Own" menu but missing too many ingredients. 3. The restaurant needs to be cleaner. So dusty and sticky. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service.
