I ended up with Holly and while cutting my hair she mentioned adding some face framing highlights. It is not something I usually get but I decided to take the time and treat myself and was pleased with the results. Holly even pushed back an appointment to give me her full attention. I ended up buying the salon brand shampoo and conditioner and really like them. My hair is thin but it is much better with their products. I also started using Perfect 10 styling products which Holly used on my hair. I actually started embracing the straightness of my hair and invested in a Dyson Airwrap which is an amazing tool for getting it smooth and shiny. With the services and products my hair is looking better.

Today, I had full highlights, a deep conditioning, a cut, and style, ( in record time too, which for me is great because I cannot sit for long amounts of time), by a very impressive and talented hairdresser.... her name is AMANDA!!! This was the best salon experience that I have had in a very long time. My HAIR looks FABULOUS!!! I LOVE my new HAIRSTYLE, and my highlights are absolutely perfect! They look so natural, which I personally world rather when it comes to highlights. AMANDA did such an AMAZING job!! I have found my new salon!!!! I will definitely be recommending my,(very picky), family and friends to BLAST SALON! I have never written a review on here, or any other sites, but felt the need to write about this amazing young lady,AMANDA, and of the salon! Not only is she excellent at what she does, she also has a great attitude!!! It is hard to find young ppl like her!!! I am 20 years her elder, and having only met her today, I felt as though we were old friends! My experience was terrible at this salon I told hair dresser exactly how I wanted my hair cut, Even showed a video and she told me I couldn't have it do to a few shorter pieces in the front. She said she would do choppy layers to get close to what I wanted and let it grow out to go back and get the cut I originally came there for. I left unhappy with short hair one side longer than the other. So disappointed I called and told them I wasn't happy with the cut they told me to come back in but I would have to see a different hair dresser. I told the lady what I wanted fixed. she kept cutting more and more hair off and it still didn't look right it was even shorter and I left disappointed again got home and saw it was still uneven. I spent 55 dollars on a cut I could of just looked in the mirror and did myself. Maybe even better. First time mistake was fixable second time coming out not happy just isn't right. I'm a single mom who hasn't gone to a salon in years and this is the reason why. I would never recommend this place to anyone.. Woman deserve to feel good about there hair and this salon made me feel the opposite. It's been few months and I'm still with this hair cut to nervous to go somewhere else. Mistakes happen but when you pay decent money you want a good job done or at least what you wanted. Good luck to anyone who goes here for hair service. read more

I found Blast Salon completely by accident while randomly searching on Groupon. I have wanted to get a Keratin treatment done for a long time but never found a salon with both good prices and good reviews. After researching Blast Salon and reading their reviews, I immediately booked an appointment with Sulay. The salon is small and in a plaza you wouldn't really think to go in but besides my intial concerns, everything at the salon was beyond my expectations. All of the stylist were so sweet and truly team players. I never saw a client sitting for longer than a couple minutes without one of the stylists checking on them to make sure nothing was needed, even if it wasn't their client. Great group of girls and a great energy in the salon. Sulay was great, addressed all of my questions and concerns. She did an excellent job on my Keratin treatment and Hair Cut. I even decided to do the Sweet Keratin, rather than the basic one. I couldn't be happier with my choices and the outcome. It has been a month since my appointment and my hair is still doing great! My sister is even considering making an appointment for this weekend. I will definitely be going back! read more

I had the most amazing experiance at Blast Salon today! It's a cozy salon that reminds me of a girls barber shop. Everyone is friendly and it feels warm like family. Love the atmosphere! As this was my 1st time here, I was pleasantly suprised! The service I received was nothing less than perfect! Hence the 5 stars. GiGi was absolutely perfect. She is kind, friendly, and genuine. GiGi is also really great at what she does. She walked me through every step, gave me choices with different possible outcomes, and thoroughly explained at all to me-all while making sure I understood it all. I came into Blast Salon looking for help. I had about 3000 different colors in my hair. GiGi made certain I would leave satisfied with the results of her correcting my damaged hair. She gave me the most beautiful all over highlights. GiGi focused on the right toner for my look. And must I tell you, the cut is fabulous!! GiGi worked wonders on my hair. I honestly didn't think or know it was possible to be this happy with the outcome. I have never walked out of a salon feeling this good. Went to Blast yesterday for the first time and I am SO happy I did! From the moment I walked in and was greeted until I left it was an Amazing experience. To start my hair was washed by Joshua (extremely nice person and a wash/scalp massage that at 9:20 in the morning I could have fell back asleep) Then I asked about a Deep Condition and was told they were Complementary!!! So under the dryer I went My hair stylist was Gigi. She was Amazing, super friendly, and caring. I got a cut and blow dry with flat iron and I was shocked! Usually I go to Dominican Salons and they burn my scalp with the blow dryer and the flat iron and I leave there smelling like BURNT HAIR! It was not the case here and that is another reason why I will be back again and again! She didn't even come close to burning me. It's actually sad to me now that I have gotten used to that type of treatment. Well you live and you learn I guess. My hair is cut the exact way I wanted it to be and super straight and silky and doesn't smell BURNT! I have naturally curly hair and Gigi handled it! This was a 5 Star experience for me for sure. This salon has amazing customer service! They try their best to accommodate to every customer, however customer is a poor word because once you are labeled as their client you are family. Every hairstylist remembers and welcomes you at each appointment. If you are looking for a stylist for life, this place has them all! One specifically is Becca Miller, she is my stylist who I have had since she moved to Florida! She doesn't have a full book, but don't let that turn you off because it's only because she had to start over when she decided to move here. Once I gave, what seemed like a rookie, a chance she proved to be the overall best stylist I've had! And trust me, I've seen many awful ones. She by far exceeds the normal standards. Becca not only knows exactly what will look best, but she is brilliant when it comes to making you, not only look beautiful, but feel stunning. I am a Jamaican black woman with 4c hair and I was a bit skeptical about relaxing my hair and getting it done weekly at Blast Salon. Thank God I met Sulay!! She took me under her wing! The very first time we met, she sat me down and told me things I have never heard from any other stylist (black or white) about all the tips, tricks and *healthy* techniques for growing full, long, healthy hair as a black woman. The advice was specifically tailored to me! Then she shared with me that I could come weekly to wash my hair at one of the lowest prices I have come across in Florida! It was a wonderful deal! This is the first review I have ever written and probably the only review I will write. If anyone wants a nice, clean hair salon with friendly, gentle people then come to Blast Salon. I really like this salon! I have only been there twice, yet both times I walked out very satisfied. My most recent visit was with Tina, who is amazing! She was so sweet (the entire staff is sweet and friendly). I had my roots touched up (my gray hairs are very stubborn!) and I also had the keratin treatment. I only paid $114 which is 1/3 of what I would have paid at the last salon I went to. The salon is small and not too fancy with any frills, however, it is clean and they are fully stocked with all of the necessary tools to get the job done. I am thrilled that it is less than five minutes away from my home! The prices are unbeatable and you are still receiving top-notch service. The talent and passion surely shows through their work. I'm so glad I went. I had a stylist that decided to go back home to England. A co-worker said all her friends go to this salon and like it , we found they had groupon and I bought a package for full highlights and style. I met Alyson and showed her my pinterest saves what I had wanted my hair to look like. I never go in thinking it will come out exactly like I wanted but it did .I found her so engaged in the process and she didn't take shortcuts just because I had used groupon. I absolutely love love love this salon! The atmosphere is great-nice, and hilarious, women who are all really excited about making you look and feel beautiful. My stylist/colorist is Amanda and she is my favorite stylist I've ever had...and I've had many! I'm always super indecisive and come in with a million ideas and she's happy to talk through them all with me and help me decide what's going to look the best for me and fit my style. I went to Gina yesterday to get my highlights done! OMG she is amazing . My hair is not only healthy but all one color ( because I decided to go on YouTube and watch tutorials about toning my hair.. and screwed up) she is very gentle and explained everything as she was doing it. The girl got a work out with my hair because it is long and she understood that I didn't want to cut it to short but wanted it to be healthy. I found my new hair stylist!! I don't typically write reviews but I had such a good experience at Blast that I had to take a moment to compliment the salon and especially Becca. I have a pretty simple men's hair cut, you know a #4 and #5. I am usually in and out in no time at all but to Becca, there's no such thing as a routine haircut. She spent a lot of time cleaning up the ends, blending the layers, and cleaning up the edges. The whole experience was very professional from start to finish. I've been coming here for years now. I've used all the stylists in the salon being as I'm very busy and can't commit to an appointment time. I must say that I am always extremely happy when I leave here. They are always accommodating to my crazy schedule and always do a great job. This salon has recently been renovated, with exceptionally lovely (new) owner and friendly staff, whom can accommodate a variety of services, from haircut, styling, color, perm, to manicure and pedicure services. Love the new exiting look of the salon, and the professionalism of its existing/new employees.
