I have had two kids in braces there. Dr. Decoteau does quality work, but the hours there are…read moreextremely difficult for a working person, and if the patient needs more than a 20-minute appointment, you are forced to take the child out of school, because they "only handle longer appointments during the morning". Having a child who has difficulty in school, it is extremely counterproductive to take him out of school for an orthodontic appointment every time, not to mention what it does to my day; I end up having to take a half day off from work for every appointment, which is ridiculous. They sincerely need to come in to the current century and accommodate working, single mothers, or anyone else who works a normal work day. They also do not call with an appointment reminder. I don't think there is any doctor's office or dentist's office that I go to that doesn't give you a courtesy call to remind you of an appointment. They do not do this here. Overall, even though he's a talented doctor, his office policies are horrible and unaccommodating.

I was completely happy with Dr. Decoteau and his staff from the onset to completion. It was absolutely the right office and orthodontist for me.

Dr. Walker was recommended as "the best" by a dentist I trusted, and she was absolutely right. Despite my initial skepticism and many questions, Dr. Walker made me feel so comfortable from our first conversation to the last. He knew exactly how to support the surgery I needed, and explained the complex orthodontic and 2-step surgical process in a very understandable way but without oversimplifying. All his timeline and financial estimates were spot-on and very clearly explained as well. As specialists in the "upper palette" issues I was facing, Dr. Walker and the team of amazing orthodontic hygienists not only perfectly aligned my bite and chewing around my surgically reconstructed jaw, but also opened my airway and greatly improved my breathing! Everything Dr. Walker promised, I got, with no surprises. The office staff work very well together and were very accommodating with some schedule conflicts I had during COVID. Dr. Walker was likewise very accommodating, patient and responsive to my questions, with amazingly timely phone follow-ups even in last-minute scenarios. I'm so happy and relieved that I found Walker Orthodontics and finally had the surgery I needed. Dr. Walker is a fantastic orthodontist and a fantastic person, too. I can't say enough about the team, either. Highest recommendation!

She answered my multiple calls during the day with patience and encouragement and went out of her way to solve our issues. If this doesn't instill faith in humanity, I'm not sure what does. It is now my go-to lunch spot when I need a delicious sandwich or a cold smoothie for the hot days. Overall service is wonderful and for it only being one person cooking and manning the front it is impressive how quickly I get my order. I've been coming here for a while if I just need something to keep me going throughout the day or sometimes when I just want a sweet treat(their smoothies are no joke)! I will continue going here for myself and would recommend this to anyone with any dietary restrictions or those who just want some REAL food thats healthy!

I strongly debated both whether to review Groton Wellness and whether to give it one or two stars…read more In the end, I decided that my experience warranted sharing my thoughts and giving it the lowest rating. The treatments themselves were good. However, the complete lack of any form of decent spa experience more than offset it. This place clearly is a stereotypical dentist-investor money grab by the doctors who own the practice that is the primary focus of this enterprise. As an initial matter, the website states that the spa is closed on Mondays prompted my calling to ask if they might allow me to use the sauna and the soaking tub on a Monday anyway because that was the day that I would be there from out of town. I was told that the tub and the sauna are open on Mondays. I agreed to the request to pay the full amount at the time of booking even though the website stated the policy of only collecting a portion of the fee at that time. This was more than one month before my visit. On arrival, there neither was anyone at the front desk nor any means of signaling that you are there. I waited at least a genuine five minutes before approaching the VERY surly woman in the back area of the cafe portion of the spa. She looked right at me and played the game of pretending that she did not hear me the first few times that I called out hello. The woman then grumbled about working on four orders; there was no one in the cafe. She came to the counter and told me that someone from the spa would be out in a minute. She easily could have looked for someone for me. Two women then came out from the back area. The blonde woman with the glasses was friendly enough. I first used the sauna, which was the better part of experience. There at least was a bench and a place to hang my clothes. The sauna felt good and therapeutic. The robe was worn, not soft, and too small to cover me without being very careful. Having to carry my clothes into the bathroom where the tub was located was not very spa like. My running a little early excused the tub only starting to get filled after my sauna. However, the small spa staff knew when I arrived and coukd have started the tub sooner. I had to wait in the very Spartan waiting area. There were a couple of uncomfortable wicker chairs and a few odd magazines. I also had to stress about my robe staying closed. For the record, I am 5'7" and 165 pounds. The tub itself was nice. However, I could have purchased the basic epsom salts that they used at Whole Foods or my warehouse club. The bathroom was chilly, lacked any good place for my clothes, or even a bench. The sink only had basis soap and paper towels. No nice hand lotions or other amenities. I can attribute the shower not working well to my not being able to figure it out. The shower being too small for me to fully get under the head, the water being tepid, and the soap being the Doc Bronners Castile soap that people use on camping trips is on them. The check-out process merely was "you've paid" and then walking back into the office area. There was not even the customary follow-up e-mail.

Katie Klein has been beyond amazing for my 2 daughters and myself! She has been seeing my girls…read moresince they were very young. My daughters needed a lot of work: pallet expanders, teeth extractions, gums lasered, multiple rounds of braces etc. Katie treats every patient like they are family. Her bedside manner is impeccable, and she personally calls patients to check in after most appointments, I just started Invisalign myself as an adult. The process has been so smooth and she is always there to respond quickly to any and all questions. In a world where most medicine is not personalized anymore and we are just a number as a patient, Katie makes you feel special and heard! I couldn't recommend her more!

I am so sad that my two older sons did not have the opportunity to be patients with this practice. But I am SO grateful that my youngest son, who not only has sensory issues but who struggles tremendously with challenging, new experiences let alone ones that are not always very comfortable or pleasant, has had Katie and her staff for his braces journey. This practice is a more than a giant head and shoulders above the other two experiences I have had with orthodontists. The others were kind, professional and got the job done. ?!?! So, why is Katie so much better? It is hard to put into words how caring, honest, skilled and straightforward this practitioner is without seeming to be exaggerating. But I kid you not... she is the genuine article. Let's start with her ability to make it all look easy. The place is relaxed, clean and as she is chatting away like a good friend you are watching her expertly navigate your child's mouth and any trace of anxiety or discomfort. She makes incredibly difficult tasks look effortless and she smiles through it all. And of course, we need to talk about money. It is transparent from the get go. Financial plans and options are made available and you truly understand not only the cost but the cost benefit... every step of the way. Nothing is hidden, disguised or short-changed. And the highest quality of care is just her standard. What you are hoping for, as well as the reality of achieving this end result with realistic timing of outcomes, are explained clearly and expertly. Even more importantly, your child will be heard, attended to, motivated, supported and ultimately successful at Katie Klein. It is all the somewhat invisible intangibles.... A beyond accommodating front desk staff, frequent appointment reminders and yet no guilt or shame inducing practices when appointments are accidentally forgotten or simply missed due to a myriad of circumstances. It is all the big tangibles. You have an emergency? Or need a last minute appointment? You are not told they accommodated you. You are simply accommodated. Katie Klein and her practice are different, because she is that lightning in a bottle kind of Doctor. Real, compassionate, excellent, hardworking, non-judgmental and true to her word and ethics. You want her in your life. Your teeth and/or your child's teeth will thank you. Sure, you may leave many orthodontists with an externally beautiful smile. But it's the smile on your face that comes from working with a true heart that cares for you and your loved ones from the outside and the inside, that stays with you from here.
