Closed for the last couple of years and newly opened. The staff was great and the food was above average for a bar menu. The place looks like it was mainly just painted for upgrades from pre renovation. A good dive vibe. Didn't appreciate the credit card fees and nickel and dime menu. However, enjoyed checking out this place. Only 2 refills for soft drinks and bottled tea - big negatives.

Before the pandemic my husband and I used to meet up with friends regularly at the Blarney Stone as it was a convenient location. Add to that the good food, cold drinks and friendly service which definitely had us coming back. When they closed during the pandemic and didn't open again we were definitely disappointed. Once we knew they were going to open again we started going back there almost immediately. My husband had a birthday this past weekend with about 20 people and imagine our surprise to walk in a find our area fully decorated. Balloons, tablecloths, napkins the works! I appreciate the effort they put into going the extra mile to make this celebration extra special. If you're thinking of having an event definitely consider coming here. Everyone had a great time!

Pre pandemic this was one of my favorite spots to go! My husband and I loved it so much we bought a house on the same street. Fast forward to now. I've been putting off writing this review for awhile. We went back in the first week they reopened (about a year ago) and were very disappointed. We've been back a few times since then and still it's just not the same as before. The food is mediocre and for the prices, it's just frankly not worth it. You can go up the street and get a way better burger for the same price. The atom Pap here is still nice. We like going for trivia and just having a drink. Unfortunately this is no longer our "go to" place.

Hangover Burger with house potatoes. Solid

Good service super Low key. Good food. Homemade style which is nice considering most spots GFS order.

Been coming here for years. Great atmosphere, good beer selection, great pub food. Amber is the best! Come on in for a local's bar experience!

Potato skin's, burgers, wings and Michigan beer! Score!

This is my new favorite bar. The prices are fantastic, the food is fatty goodness in generous portions, and the menu is huge! It's divey, but that's the way I like my bars. And the people there are super cool and down-to-earth. The music on the jukebox was jammin', and they have tons of Michigan beers on tap! We ordered wings and potato skins to start. The wings were good, but make sure and order the hot ones. They're not over-the-top amazing, but they certainly fit the bill. The potato skins were amazing, as you'd expect from an Irish bar. Not skimpy on the toppings, fresh and perfectly fried, crispy and soft. I ate the entire plate of them. What should you order? A burger! I ordered the reuben burger, which is topped with corned beef, and HUGE! The most important thing is, it's not just a huge hunk of unseasoned beef. It's well-seasoned and juicy, and seriously amazing for, like, 8 bucks. Yeah, boii. Eat your heart out, Redcoat. ($12 burgers, easily) My hubby also ordered some huge house burger, and he said it was the best burger he's ever eaten. We. Will. Be. Back. Meet us there and shoot some pool!

Yum dank juice odd side.

The place has an authentic Irish pub vibe and it's really fun with great music. The owner, Kevin, is very knowledgeable about food and it was great getting to chat with him. The restaurant had been closed for the entire week after the July 4 holiday, yet Kevin O'Mara and his team opened on Saturday just to host our family and friends. That level of hospitality meant a great deal during a difficult time. We chose the wild-caught walleye over the prime rib, and it was the right decision. Lightly breaded and seasoned just enough to let the fish speak for itself, it was excellent. The whiskey sauce bread pudding was memorable, and even the coleslaw stood out with a unique flavor that had everyone asking what was in it. What impressed me most, though, was how much the restaurant has evolved. We had eaten here six or seven years ago and left feeling the family-style meals lacked creativity. This visit was a completely different experience. You can tell Kevin has thoughtfully reinvented the menu, emphasizing wild-caught and organic ingredients, avoiding unnecessary additives, and preparing everything with care. The staff was attentive, Kevin was an exceptional host, and every detail helped make an emotional day easier for our family. Five stars. Highly recommended.

I would say it's a toss up writing this review! You have to know the kinda place you are going to…read morebefore you are going! There are a ton of bad reviews here and I don't think it's a bad bar! But if you think you are having a nice sit down dinner and drink and show up here you are obviously going to be very disappointed! This place is solely made to drink lots and get drunk, take shots from the shot girls, get bumped into and be in a party crowd of young people! If you are looking for or expecting anything nicer keep moving on down the street! This is a loud bar with a very busy crowd! Bouncers always walking through clearing paths for the drink girls! I've truthfully never even sat down while being here! So that being said it is hard to sometimes get a drink unless you push yourself to the bar. There is sometimes a cover to get in being it's such a packed bar! But that also means it can be a very fun bar depending on your vibe and the night you are looking to have!

Tips are supposed to be for GOOD service! 2. People come to your table and push shots on you or "spin the wheel" promotions. You're not sure if it's free or a discounted promotion... and then charge a high price for it! It's like having pan handlers harassing you on the street in India when you're trying to enjoy time with your friends! They take advantage of you being buzzed. Tomorrow you'll wake up feeling like you were totally scammed. Shame on them!

Granted I did have to ask for them to be remade since the first batch was burned (cooks nowadays try to service only the lighter side up as if our taste buds won't notice the burnt side on the back ) but the server was gracious and acknowledged the oversight offering to have them remade. The skillet was an excellent choice with lots of flavor and loved having guac and sour cream as a topping. I'd happily eat here again. The servers are all well trained, and highly professional. The food is fantastic. The menu is the standout; it is very creative and has something for everyone. Let's start with their breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Too bad they're only open weekends for breakfast. Whenever we have family back in town or friends from out of town, this is our go to place. Casual relaxed, friendly with quality food. If you haven't been here for breakfast, I would highly recommend it. The only comment I have is they don't open for breakfast until a little bit later in the morning. Usually, there is a line out out front waiting for them to open. We've had most things on the menu and to be truthful, not one thing has disappointed. Dinner: we don't get here too often for dinner because in my mind, this is our go to breakfast place. Last week we tried it for dinner and again, very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the wait staff, the quality of the food, and the overall dining experience. Whoever transformed his place from a hipster beer hall to a quality dining experience did a great job. Kudos to them!
