I would give this restaurant 3 1/2 stars but that's not an option. The bar area is very nice as well as the dining room. Nice outside area also. Service was great. Ordered the French onion soup which was pretty good. The potato skins were a bit dry, not hot and hard to cut. The overall flavor was ok. Mozzarella sticks were good also. The Shepherds pie was actually very good and had a nice flavorful hardy sauce. Nice size portion. The Ruben was also very good. Corn beef was very tender. Could use a tad bit more dressing to bolster the flavor but otherwise was delicious. Dirty martini was delicious!!

The staff here is very friendly. We went for outdoor dining & were seated immediately. I like the tables on the platform. It didn't take long to get the food, but took a while to get the check. The food wasn't as good. My pizza was very burned as can be seen in the photo. I didn't bother asking for another; my daughter still liked it & it was already late. The nachos were okay, definitely needed more cheese.

The owner should claim this biz because the needs to know how awesome this place is!!!! The buffalo chicken sandwich was tasty with a glass of Guinness! Cool spot for outdoor dining.

Had the shepherds pie and the Gaelic chicken for mains and the Irish curry fried for appetizers and all of them were above average..... especially the shepherds pie which was fantastic. The service was polite and attentive....I had two servers refill a drink for me at the same time! The atmosphere was nice.....plenty of tv's with football on and the music wasn't too loud. Want to come back and try other items on the menu that looked good at other tables. A very nice Irish pub. Came here for St. Patrick's Day and had the nutty Irishman which was excellent. Friends had the corned beef sliders and the Blarney Burger which everyone enjoyed. Was a great crowd for St. Patrick's Day and had a great time.

This place is as Irish as it gets! Went here during St. Patty's Weekend and got a Reuben sandwich, girlfriend got a cheesesteak. The Reuben is phenomenal, has a ton of cheese, ton of meat, bread is nice and toasted and the fries are perfectly crisp. The cheesesteak is also something to talk about, if you're craving a cheesesteak but don't want to drive out to Philly, this is as close as you'll get to a cheesesteak. Meat is tender, real cheese, and they add Maggi seasoning which in my opinion makes the sandwich better. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.

Great little spot decided come here to grab some food on holloween night cuz we were to lazy to cook dinner. Beer selection was nice my wife and I had the Octoberfest.we ended up eating the Thai chili wings personal pizza and the fish and chips everything was pretty good especially the fish and chips I would just go back just for that simply because it was delicious. Looking forward to trying some more things on the menu The specials looked pretty good just wasn't the right night for it. The staff was pretty friendly our waiter was personable and a cool guy thank you.

An aptly named bar. The bar sits about a stone's throw away from the train station. Great if you like watching trains roll by . I happened to know a few train enthusiast that would love the location. Otherwise, its a pretty normal bar. Drink service is good and fast.

It was served with plantain chips and great for a hotter night app. For my main, I got the Grain Bowl. So good, so filling and I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. It had quinoa, tofu, chickpeas, yams, and a green goddess dressing. This will officially be added to the rotation of lunch/dinner spot. Cannot wait to come back.

As the self proclaimed third wave feminist that I am, bridging the gender pay gap is a way that I can put my money where my mouth is. Strip clubs and GoGo bars are empowering to women, how else can you make $40 cash in the timespan of a radio friendly pop song. Ajs is the perfect middle ground for everyone, classy enough to put on a suit with your crew of boys and pregame with scotch and arrive there with a uber. Still naughty enough to be the last stop you and your college friends make on a night of binge drinking fourloko and re creating jackass pranks like your 15 years old again. I was the latter. When your hammered on cheap well drinks and redbull a naked woman is the last thing you need, all important decisions are thrown out. 10 dollar ATM fee is nothing. $9 lukewarm corona with no lime? get me a six pack. over priced hookah? fuck it. Im not going to bore you with the details of sitting at the bar tossing dollar bills at the pole dancers and the lame almost telemarketer like conversation to get a lap dance. let cut to the "private" area. the dark lit back corner with curtains, chairs and a bouncer. i have been to countless clubs and gotten countless lapdances in the past so I know the tricks and lingo. I always pay upfront and know exactly what to expect. No amount of "baby stay for one more" or " hey you are so hot papi" will ever get me to stay past what I want. I told her I only wanted two dances and paid for it upfront. Thats when it turned sour. She was grinding on me for less then a verse when she stood up to adjust her bra when I noticed a giant tampon string hanging out of her thong. I look down and to my horror the light grey colored pants has now become a Pollack like art piece of blood stains. we both notice at the same time and she quickly yells "OK DANCE OVER BYE". I told her i dont care about the blood. fuck I take shots of period blood all the damn time like the Domincan vampire that I am. but I do feel like I am entitled to $20 back since she never gave me the second dance and I now need to throw away these pants. The bouncer came over and me asked me leave told me I was causing a scene. well at least let me wash my hands and give my pants a light wiping with paper towels so im not walking around jersey city at 3am looking like Jules from Pulp Fiction after he shot marvin in the face . Still over all not the worst Strip Club experience I have had and besides the GWAR show that happened on me the other girls were entertaining and the music was fun. I would come back......... just at a different time of the month.

This time, my friend and I found ourselves in the township of North Bergen which neither of us had been to before. After we secured seating, they were kind and patient enough to offer free samples to my friend who wasn't an IPA drinker. Afterwards, I continuously approached the bar to place an order during our stay. There wasn't any table service, so on each trip I returned our empties. Everything was no-frills straightforward which was fine with us - all was good! PARKING (FREE; N/A this instance) We took the light rail to Tonnelle Ave. Station and walked about 10 minutes along a busy street into a somewhat industrial area. They didn't have an onsite lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be plenty of spots along the main drag of 43rd St., the major thoroughfare of Tonnelle Ave., and nearby surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A no-frills somewhat cavernous industrial warehouse where you walked through a door within a drop-down metal garage door, you were immediately staring at the brewing tanks. The bar area was off to the right with several high barrel tables, a handful of stools at the bar, and a chalkboard menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=nJg33bmX7AUR7f4gzEhgTQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw up on the wall. There was an uncomfortable hot dankness in the air. Natural lighting only entered once the garage door was opened while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were muted TVs while rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rblApp3OACOCC_PN48XKnQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I was happy to try New Jersey Brewing Co., and I would consider another visit at least to try the rest of their beers. However, their tap list was limited both in quantity and variety. They were very heavy on the IPAs which wasn't my favorite. Unfortunately, there wasn't any onsite food (some snacks) or trucks (BYOF style). And, they appeared to be family and pet-friendly. They had comparable prices and adequate service. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $54.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
