EHHHH was undecided on where to eat and decided on Houlihan's. Gave it a shot, I did like a couple things about the menu we ordered from the "All Day Fixe" deal for $25.99, which includes an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. The food seemed to be just average. Our server Mike was cool as he gave some recommendations for things to try. Went with some of the things we liked as well. Houlihan's provided a family friendly atmosphere. The ambiance seemed a bit old and tacky. Don't think I'd be going back seems like there is better options in the area. Food wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either.

The appetizers were great but the dip was a little salty. Chicken breast was alright. Salmon was cooked nicely with a little crisp. Cheesecake was way too sweet. Service was slow but waiter (Matt) was great and accommodating.

Visited this place for dinner during the New Year of 2025. We were staying at a hotel close to this, and wanted to give it a try. Nice place with good ambiance and courteous staff. Food was tasty except for the egg roll. Wait time was bit longer than expected both for getting the table and the food.

I can't recommend the food. I had the prime rib dinner and it tasted off. I was raised on rotten meat because my dad had an old country store and we usually ate the green meat nobody else would buy. I know the taste much too well. It's not overly rotten but also not fresh. So I eat it, fully expecting to need a quick trip to the restroom. I'd be at one star but the service was good and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. I'm hoping my experience is not the norm for prime rib!

I love this place! Never a disappointment! Food and service is on point the waiters are all nice and for your needs! I will always go back every Saturday my favorite day of the week, But will always go during the week if I can. The environment is breaking and so peaceful to relax. Anne the manager is always a pleasure! Emma Chris Brandon Dominque and a couple of others are amazing I Love them all! The bartender always has my bottle ready when I come thru the door all the bartenders are also amazing as well as the hosts. Come check it out best food and drinks for every night of the week :) if I can go every night for dinner I would.

I think this place is a little expensive for what it is, but they do have a lot of menu options, and the decor has a cool, vintage, old school feel that's really nice. There is a lot of parking but there's also several restaurants and a movie theater, so parking may be distant depending on the time. It was also REALLY cold when I went, so consider bringing a sweater. There are some good menu options. We ordered and the order took a while, but the waitress brought us rolls on the house, which was really nice. It's too bad meals don't usually come with bread though. I got the Sedona shrimp pasta, which the waitress luckily warned me had a bit of a kick. I was okay with that, but the menu doesn't make that clear. There were a lot of shrimp, and they were big and plump. The sirloin comes with butter, but it was tasty without it so better to hold it off to save the calories. The broccoli and baked potato were typical. The menu had some interesting looking desserts, but the meals themselves were very filling. As a chain, I think it's more expensive than other chains for similar options, but the ambiance is nice, and our service was great. This is also a nice pick if you are doing dinner and a movie.

The food was 10/10. See photos of what I ordered. The restaurant looks like something out of a 80/90s television show. Think Cheers lol. And I loved it. I sat at the bar as I typically do when dining alone. The bartender was taking care of the bar guests and surrounding high top tables. It wasn't very busy. Which leads to my 4/5. Though she greeted me, she did several other things before handing me the happy hour menu that was literally in her arms reach. It wasn't until I began to get up that she quickly made it available. I think she realized I was annoyed and her demeanor changed immediately. From then on, her service was attentive, communicative, and friendly. The only bad thing about the remainder of the experience is that I can't go back today. The food was SO good. I wish we had a location in Orlando!

Every time I go do my food shopping at Walmart. I stop here for dinner. Good comfort food, Servers are really nice. Very nice chill environment. So far I've had the pot roast really really good flavorful. There mashed potatoes are one of the best I've had from a restaurant. Stuffed chicken breast is SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD! But the star of there menu is the Bruschetta. I get it every time for starters. I wouldn't even be able to explain it to you guys. Ya would have to try it sooooo good. The chicken & avocado egg rolls eh they weren't all that. They were to burnt.

The Whale. It tastes like you're drinking a gummy bear. I love it.

I was here on a business trip. And we had our team dinner here. And everything I had was amazing. First off the staff, we're very quick, polite and attentive. Even with our large party it felt like I was getting drink refills and our food at reasonable times. For appetizers I tried the nachos, the fried calamari and the fancy cheese. The nachos were pretty good, very memorable and I would order again if I ended up here again. Every chip seems like they had a fair distribution of all the ingredients. The fried calamari was amazing. They had rings and clusters. Very crunchy outside with a nice traditional inside and great seasoning. The fancy cheese is a fried appetizer and a combination of cheeses. Again, very crunchy outside and the cheese were absolutely amazing 11/10. My drink for the night was the whale. It's a sweet alcoholic drink and it tastes like you're drinking a gummy bear. And yes you get to keep the whale and yes they give you more if you order refills. My main dish I think was the Atlantic salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was cooked to perfection. The fish was nice and soft and juicy. The broccoli was broccoli but the mashed potatoes were somehow the MVP of the plate. I would recommend this restaurant over most others.

I came here while staying in the hotel right next door making it super convenient. They have a gluten sensitive menu which I was happy about. I ordered the bbq ribs, made gluten free, and they were decent. I was happy they offered them because I often can't get them at restaurants. The rest of my group liked their meals and drinks. Our waitress was also super helpful and nice!

In the beginning it was very iffy, the lady sat us in the hot part of the restaurant it was so hot it felt like Africa back there. But the waiter back there was very nice before we asked him "can we move". Then the next waiter we had was a little cruel in the beginning but toward the end he got hisself together! The ceaser salad was pretty good but the "sedona shrimp pasta was not that good. 2nd Waiter:Matt

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

Usually BYOB spots struggle to create the right ambiance, but this place has something special going on. We may have had a bit too much fun because we literally closed the place down with the staff. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and sharing them at the table because that is what we did and everything was deliciously decadent. The burrata was packed with flavor and the basil foam was impressive. The octopus with potatoes hit perfectly. I already know I need to go back for the crab empanadas and the short rib croquettes soon. For our mains, my wife and I shared the short rib yucca gnocchi and the lobster and ricotta ravioli. Amazingly tasty across the board. This place delivered from start to finish and we will definitely be returning.

We were left ignored for over 20 minutes after seating. Finally when the waiter arrived for a drink order we had asked for a coffee to start. That didn't arrive until almost another 25 minutes and were told the bar area was busy. The food itself wasn't amazing or memorable. Ordered the cauliflower app- the sauce was too watery and didn't coat or stick to the cauliflower. If it was thickened it would glaze the cauliflower and you could actually appreciate how good it was and the dish would be so much better. For the mains we ordered the salmon burger and lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were ok but nothing amazing. The worst part was the speakers playing a happy birthday song that was extremely loud that even 2 other tables looked confused and disturbed by it. It played for well over a few minutes. I can appreciate a party being celebrated but not at the expense of the patrons in the restaurant. Also just a heads up- they add a 2.5% service charge to the bill. Only noticed this because the table seated next to us shared this and were upset by it.

The service was still professional and friendly, but the food left something to be desired. Though it was a Thursday evening, the weather was not great, so it was not overly surprising that the restaurant was not very crowded. Because of that fact, the gracious hostess offered us our choice of a few different tables, from a larger booth to a two-top near the window. We opted for the booth that would give us a chance to look out into the restaurant AND to still see the Manhattan skyline. We decided to order some drinks, and I opted for an Espresso Martini, which was not typically something I would have gotten before dessert, but I wanted the extra caffeine! Plus, their version included a caramel cold foam, which enticingly made it extra creamy and delicious. In fact, it was definitely one of the best espresso martinis I had ever had. We were deciding to skip any starters, so we asked for some bread while we waited for our entrees. The plate of focaccia was decent and hit the spot, but we were charged $2 for it, which was not a big deal but also not appreciated. For my entree, I went with the Lobster Bouillabaisse. The broth was flavorful, but there was not much of it. In fact, the dish came with three sweet rolls to dip into the soup, but I could have lived with less given the limited amount of liquid in the bowl. The included blue prawns were good, but the Hokkaido scallops and lobster were chewy. There was also supposed to jumbo lump crab, which seemed to have been replaced by gritty clams. There were also leeks and Yukon potatoes that were sliced in small cylinders and looked fairly similar to each other. The potatoes were bland, cold, and under-cooked. Overall, it was not very impressive for $48. My companion's Prime Filet Mignon was of an unknown size on the menu, but arrived looking smaller than the typical 8-ounces. It was also over-cooked. He did like his mashed potatoes, though. For dessert, we decided to get the Apple and Pear Bread Pudding again, since that had been excellent last time and would hopefully be a redeeming feature of the meal, which it was. The sweet, caramelized brioche had been infused with cubes of fruit, baked, and drizzled with a sea salt caramel. We replaced the designated companion creme fraiche gelato with a scoop of passion fruit sorbet, which was less of an appropriate pairing, but more of an appealing variety to us. While Drift truly offered a stunning space with incredible service, they really could improve their culinary preparations.

We actually called earlier in the day to ask if we can move up the reservation and they were totally fine with it. I guess it was not a busy time because it was empty when we arrived. We were seated quickly and welcomed by all the staff. The waitress we had was new and I wish I remembered her name. She was excellent! We started with drinks and everyone ordered the Frozen Ginny, except for my mom, who had a glass of wine. Me and my gf kept boasting about the frozen ginny and everyone loved it. It's the perfect amount of sweetness. We ordered a bunch of appetizers because we were all starving. We had the brisket sliders, octopus, shrimp tacos, and meatballs. It was all so delicious and filled with flavor. My fav was the brisket sliders. We ate everything and still had space when we moved onto our entrees. I think it was less because we were still hungry and more because it was soo good. I also boasted about the crab pasta so 3 out of the 5 of us had it. My mom and I ended up splitting the crab pasta and steak frites because that's also tasty. My gf had her salmon with salad that she was craving for a while. All of the dishes were a hit and my group kept saying how great the place was. My gf ended up getting me a custom cake and paid the cake fee but the Harry's team took it a step further and even helped her fix up the cake and put the candles in because the bakery messed things up last minute. The team went above and beyond with no questions asked to make our reservation smooth and enjoyable. I'm so grateful! I will be coming back soon DUH!

Barbecue smoked wings were the best i've had in Jersey. I used a knife and fork to avoid getting my hands sticky. The meat fell off the bone. Perfect amount of spice and smoke flavor. The whole atmosphere is on point, with a nice mix of energy and a more laid-back feel. It's a great spot to grab drinks, hang out, and just take in the view. Definitely worth going at night.

Cancel your reservation and go to Woodhouse. This place- Huge disappointment. I read the reviews,…read morerolled the dice -- and completely regret it. Let's start with the basics: $65 for a steak with a $25 shrimp add-on -- and the food was barely seasoned. The meat quality didn't match the price tag, not even close. You'd be better off going to Peter Luger or literally any real steakhouse where they know how to treat a cut of meat. They offer poor quality cuts of meat with hefty price tags. Had to pay extra for bread which we asked for and they offered a "smoked" drink with smoke bitters- no actual smoke. Service? A mess. It took 20 minutes just to get our drinks, and the waiter messed up the order -- no apology, no urgency. There are no purse hooks, so be ready to juggle your bag in your lap or throw it on the floor. The ambiance/ city overlook is beautiful but only from the rooftop outside area as the big Waterway sign mucks up your photos indoors when pitched toward NYC. So that definitely isn't special or upscale enough to justify the premium pricing or overlook how mediocre everything else is including the drink menu. Honestly, I should've trusted my gut (and the critical reviews), but I gave it a shot and made an awful choice. Won't be back, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone who actually appreciates good food and decent service.

There's no rush, nor should there be, you're with family, vibing to good music and eating great food. Everything there is prepared fresh and from scratch and you can taste it in every bite. I most recently did the brunch and the shrimp and grits were fantastic, plated beautifully and good portions. The sides are super affordable and allow for an array of options. My daughter loves the banana bread, I love the bacon and hash browns. This is also BYOB, which keeps a longer meal affordable. Service is nice, and they kind of keep to themselves as it's more about the food and the folks you're with. We've been 4 times and never had a bad experience, a great addition to the heights.

What a warm, friendly, neighborhood mom 'n' pop restaurant--exactly the kind I love to support. While our food took a bit of time to arrive, it was clearly made from scratch with TLC. You could practically taste it in every bite. Throw in the fact that menu is mostly tried-and-true American comfort food, and you've got a winning combination for an easy dinner that won't break the bank. Our housemade Fish Cakes were perfectly fried, stuffed with fish, and felt like something you'd eat from a stand in downtown Kingston, Jamaica. The Four Cheese Mac 'n' Cheese--at just $10--was a large enough portion for two peoples, made with thinner than traditional macaroni noodles and a lovely broiled top that imparted a smokey char. But the star of the show was undoubtedly the namesake burger. It's one of the best burgers I've had in a long, long time. The grass-fed beef was so perfectly cooked--all the hearty meat flavor you could want and full of succulent jus. The other accompaniments were placed perfectly within the rich, toasted brioche bun, making every bite feel like the culinary equivalent of Jon Bon Jovi singing in your mouth (or insert other American musical icon of your choice). Even the fries were stellar, like Richie Sambora crooning harmony next to Jon.
