The inclusive nature of the venue made wedding planning relatively stress free - we just needed to handle the cake and photographer. The food, florals, DJ, decor, etc. were all handled through Beiger - and they were all fantastic. The food was definitely a highlight for our guests! Dennis did an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly on the day of the wedding. The mansion is stunning inside and out, which made for amazing photos and ambiance. You can tell how much thought was put into the appearance of every room. Members of our family and bridal party stayed there for a few days and loved it. Our room was quite large, with a sitting area, large bathroom with a standalone tub and shower, and a cozy fireplace. We couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend the Beiger. My grouper was thin and small. Three of us ordered the slaw as a side; it was overdressed (drippy) and a very small serving. Friend with the chicken and me went away still hungry. We've eaten here before and the servings were appropriate for lunch; not this time. This was disappointing for an $80 meal tab.

The outdoor patio provided a great space to do "live video captures" overlooking the St. Joseph River. We had unplanned sprinklers going off but their team graciously and quickly got them turned off. We will not hesitate to consider The Embers for any future needs and have told other friends about this great location and team!

The inn has lovely seating areas throughout and many gorgeous quilts on display. My standard room included a refrigerator and a microwave and a comfortable reclining chair. The arrangement was awkward though; I had to move the chair away from the wall to use it. Breakfast was good; the large tables require family-style seating when it's crowded. The inn is in a great walkable location with nice views, a pond, a quilt garden, and a covered bridge. I would definitely stay there again.

Shawn provided the sound for our ceremony, lighting for the reception tent and DJ services. Our ceremony was originally planned for the outdoor Oliver Gardens, but was moved indoors at the last minute due to the cold and rain. The sound was provided for the string quartets, our officiant and readers. Despite the last minute change, everything was perfect. The lighting provided for the tent was beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. We requested Shawn as our DJ since he was highly recommended by several people and he did an amazing job. We met with him prior to the wedding to discuss the music and he had some great recommendations that worked perfectly. He kept things moving all night and the dance floor filled. He's able to read the crowd and keep a festive atmosphere. He also handled a very wide variety of requests from our guests. Definitely no need to look elsewhere - ProShow is as good as it gets!
