Although we had never met or spoken in person until 2 hours before the ceremony, Derald did a fantastic job of communicating. His app made it easy for the bride and groom to share a sense of who they are and what music they enjoy. From prelude music to the ceremony to the reception itself - Derald shone. He seemed to have as much fun as the guests and was out on the dance floor entertaining us. The music was not overpowering during the dinner (as it can be at weddings), but a great backdrop to conversation and good food. Although our families are not big dancers, he kept the party going till the end. I highly recommend using Derald and DG Visionaries for your wedding or other event! Added bonus: he offered us a 25% discount since it was a Thursday-night wedding.

With so many DIY elements, it was important to have one person coordinating and supporting it all. She's very supportive and has a can-do attitude. Wedding planning was a little stressful for me, but every single time I talked to Angela I walked away feeling calm and confident. I'd talked to another very fancy/expensive South Bend wedding planner, and that woman made me feel like if I didn't spend more money on fancier flowers my whole wedding would be a disaster - on the other hand, Angela listened to my DIY plans and offered some really helpful tips that made it go easier. She offers great ideas, but never pushes anything on you. She's very experienced, knows every wedding vendor in South Bend, and knew all about our venue, the Brick. I contacted 7/8 to check in - she stated that she needs to drop them off early to me, as she will be leaving the State 7/15, so she'll message me Monday. Never messaged me Monday, so I messaged her. no response for hours after being left on read. At this point I'm panicking - begging her to tell me if she won't come through so I can have a backup plan, as my alter for wedding was dependent on these additional pieces - so I call, no answer. She messages me at 9pm saying she was busy with appointments and has too much going on, but rest assured my pillars will be delivered as she won't ruin my big day, talking as if they will be on Tuesday before she leaves town. No response on Tuesday after telling her I will pick them up Wednesday. Today, Thursday morning she has blocked me both on her personal page and business page. She has added so much stress to my wedding day by flaking. Unprofessional & Rude are the kindest words I can think of this woman. Do not let the few good reviews fool you, as she can and will stoop this low and does not care about ruining your event. Its time to hire some people to help you with your business if you're "too busy" to run it. You should be ashamed of yourself.
