It's a nice, standard neighborhood bar with a Golden Tee machine and a couple of pool tables. Our bartender was super friendly and attentive and did a great job keeping up with drinks and refills for our group. My wife and I split a cheese pizza, which was pretty average, but the prices overall were reasonable. It was a nice, laid-back place to sit, have a few drinks, and hang out with friends for a while. We had a good time!

We checked the door and the door was locked. When calling they informed us they don't open until a half hour later, we waited nearby. When it opened, there was still no life in the place, just one guy working. I was very skeptical that on a Saturday afternoon a place like this would be completely empty. We were the only party in the place but the food was pretty good. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken tenders, forgot to take a picture. I suggest they change their hours online for others so that others don't make the same mistake! For reference they don't open until 3pm on Saturdays.

The village portion is free and then you can get tickets to see the laser show, the 4d ride, play a carnival style reindeer racing game, go down a tube slide, get an expensive picture with Santa and get their famous blueberry muffins. You probably have to buy tickets in advance to get the hours you want for the shows but no reservation needed for the other things you can do. It's a nice experience which personally I wouldn't do often, maybe every few years or so, but kids tend to enjoy it so if you have kids you might end up having to do it every year :p. It's cheaper than a carnival and an indoor experience during the cold days of the winter.

We loved working with Sara and the Mindful Wedding team. It was such a relief (and, honestly, a…read moresurprise!) to be able to hand off the truly huge number of details we needed to execute on the day of our wedding. We had a very big celebration with a ceremony in one location, dinner in another, and dancing in a third. Sara, Elise, and Dan handled set up for all three spaces beginning early in the morning. They seamlessly coordinated with the team at our venue and with a bunch of our friends who were helping on a range of projects. I was really worried about being able to let go of details- months of planning and we were just handing it off. Very stressful! But Sara and the team handled it for us. When there was something out of place they got it fixed immediately. Sara and Dan also coordinated an EPIC dance party at the same time. So basically, they are magicians. And Elise. She is a champion. It felt like she was everywhere at once- helping bartend, setting up desserts, moving people from place to place... I was completely in awe. Finally, it was really amazing to work with a team that felt like real, normal, fun people. They were a total pleasure and really made our celebration. We can't thank them enough.

We did not want a traditional DJ, or a club atmosphere. We wanted someone to play the music we liked, and let our guests dance all night long. After my first conversation with DJ Sara I knew we found the right person for us. Sara was incredibly easy to work with, and once we booked her I knew we were in good hands. She was timely with communication. The day of the wedding she was very self sufficient, and I was so grateful. She listened to what we wanted for music and then created the most amazing playlist for our day. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the music selection was, and our guests were dancing all night long! DJ Sara is amazing. Book her. Neither my partner nor I enjoy country music but that is typically what is played during the dinner hour of weddings we've attended. We voiced this concern to Sara and we were so pleased to have a variety of music played during the dinner rather than country. Sara was extremely flexible as I threw a couple last minute changes at her the day before the wedding and she had everything in order. During the set-up, ceremony, and reception she was extremely professional and attentive but she also looked like approachable and like she was having fun. We had music from a variety of genres, decades, and tastes. It was so much fun and people were dancing the entire time. Afterwards, I had guests saying that they were so impressed by the music selection and that they had an absolute BLAST the entire night. Since I only gave Sara 10 must play songs, that credit is totally to her talent and knowledge of the music and the crowd. I would HIGHLY recommend Sara to anyone who is looking to have a wedding that is less about the formalities and more about the fun and party.

The inside has a really fun upscale lounge vibe with colorful lighting, floral decor, hanging lanterns, and a huge centerpiece tree that makes the whole space feel almost like you are dining in a tropical garden. It feels trendy and lively without being overly loud, which made it a great spot for both dinner and drinks. For drinks, I ordered the mai tai and one of their mocktails. Both were well presented and came in beautiful glasses. The mai tai was refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet like many places make them. The mocktail was also excellent and felt thoughtfully made rather than just tasting like juice. For food, the short ribs pho was fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was generous with tender pieces of meat. Definitely one of the better pho presentations I have had in the area. I also ordered the sizzling steak pate with baguette, which came out hot and smelled amazing. The steak was tender and savory, the egg added richness, and pairing everything with the fresh baguette made for a really satisfying dish. Overall Monkey Lounge delivers on both ambiance and food quality.
