Everyone works so well together, they are polite and friendly to one another and have a wonderful respectful tone that feel of equality. I really appreciated everyone's kindness, I am an ambulatory wheelchair user and I came on my own without feeling overwhelmed. From beginning to end I had a wonderful experience, I also would like to thank Dr Gambrill for referring me for an oral exam and cleaning. Dr Gambrill is my PCP at coporate Dr and I absolutely appreciate everything she has done for me from the first day we met. Thank you everyone for always being so kind, professional and nurturing bedside manner. The quality of care you all provide always gracefully goes above and beyond. You all explain protocol clearly, where I don't ever have questions and feel confident in maintaining my personal care at home living independently. Vanessa at the front desk in the dentist office was very professional and helpful as she helped my to make my next appointment and one for my mom. I have been using this practice and Dr Nguyen for a number of years. She has done both of my…read morecolonoscopies. I have had polyps so I go every 5 years. I made an appointment in June or July in preparation for another colonoscopy this year. The earliest date available was the end of August. Less than 48 hours before my appointment I received a phone call from someone that said they were having trouble verifying my insurance. My insurance hasn't changed. However, she then told me that the practice no longer accepts Medicare. I don't know if it was my Medicare plan or all Medicare plans. She didn't offer any further explanation, just told me that I couldn't see the doctor. I asked about paying out of pocket, and she just said, 'No'. The doctor is great! I know she's been with this practice for a long time. In my case they had all of my insurance information since the last colonoscopy, nothing had changed. I received no less than five robocalls informing me that I was due for a colon screening this year. If they were no longer accepting my insurance plan, I should not have been able to even schedule an appointment. The only contact I should have received was an alert informing me that my insurance was no longer being accepted by the practice. Now I'm left to 'shop' for a gastro-doc. Not happy.

It's hard to find a good doctor. I had Dr. Khandawalla. While he's better than Dr. Thompson in…read morebedside manner, he's not great in it. He is unashamedly money hungry, wanting to do a colonoscopy every year. I mentioned that I was still taking indigo for my UC when we were already out in the hallway. He laughed at me and asked the doctor who was standing next to him if he ever heard about it. It's the best medication I've used so far and I don't even have to go through other people to get it. I had a great gastroenterologist not long before him, unfortunately for me he retired. After one of my colonoscopies, they sent a bill for $800 for labs for the polyps. After a million calls to them, one of the staff talked about it on the phone with me and said that next time, I need to tell them at the clinic to only use providers that are covered by my insurance. Be ready for 3 bills in addition to the $1000 that you have to pay upfront for each colonoscopy. I switched to a doctor who does their colonoscopies at Memorial Endoscopy Center. The total for everything ended up being like $1500 with them. With Khandawalla, I had to pay $2200. I did see Dr. Thompson first but only went to him once because he was rude and not at all delicate about my prognosis. That was hands down the worst bedside manner I've ever received. But Khandawalla was pretty rude and annoying too. The front desk staff care more about the socializing they are doing with each other than about talking to patients. They are stiff necked while interacting with patients.

She has blood draws in office also so no traveling to another location to get that done. She uses a portal after the visit to communicate results and next steps. I especially like that during her visit with you, she really takes the time to listen. It doesn't feel like she's just wanting to get you in and out to move onto the next. Her notes are super thorough as well! I had a gap in coverage due to being laid off and when I came back in, she just picked right back up where we started. I highly recommend still! She's the best!
