I am writing this comment about Stroh's Automotive in Tacoma. I did not have any vehicle worked on…read morethere however I did purchase a 1969 Mustang Convertible around October 2021 they were representing for a client of theirs. Having seen an ad posting I responded to Eric at Stroh's and we began a long series of questions and answers along with lots of photos being provided. Brian put together a couple short walk around videos of it running which was helpful. Being the Mustang was supposed to have gone through an extensive restoration almost 20 years ago I was waiting for the current owner to produce the documents he claimed he had to back up the restoration. So many classic cars claim having a restoration and have no documents to prove it and most often it never happened as claimed. It took almost two months to finally get them produced from the Mustang owner which was no fault of Eric in any way at all. After examining more information Eric forwarded me from these documents I decided to drive from Idaho to Tacoma to examine this Mustang myself. I certainly did not expect a perfect car by any means. Eric and Brian were very pleasant and had the classic Mustang on a lift ready to leave me to look it over for as long as I wished to. Well one can not check everything and I have found after being a professional mechanic/business owner to let the little things slide and focus on major deal breakers. The Mustang had some small leaks which I had been informed about. Yet over all the car was the solid vehicle which I was looking for. The paint was fine and the interior was also fine yet needed some help. Underneath was solid and the restoration work could be seen in many areas. Having done over other classic cars I was fully aware I would be pulling the interior out to start over and redo the engine room. Repair various paint issues, replace suspension and upgrade a lot of the underside no one ever sees. My classics end up spotless below, on top and inside. I fully intended this to be my very last classic project and to then keep it until I could no longer drive or enjoy it. As I am writing this commentary I have loads of deliveries of parts I know I will be installing from past build projects. I have been tearing apart the underside and upgrading there since it arrived here. Not done under there yet but I need a break so I am now gutting the interior. It has been on hold for ten days as it is below zero here and other things need my attention. All and all I can firmly recommend both Eric and Brian as per their honesty and time spent well above what is normally ever given. Their repair shop is extremely clean which was like mine in the day. Their mechanics seemed to be very happy to. Pride in ownership is seen there. Thank you Eric and Brian again and God Bless
