Emergency pipe repair during a freeze. They provided great service in a very tight crawl space.

We have used their services twice now. The first time to fix a plumbing job another else didn't do so well. Also an emergency hot water heater swap. I can't stress how fortunate and glad I was to be able to find Aaron and Brian to replace my hot water tank amidst the holiday. Thank you Blake plumbing, Aaron and Brian. Our tank broke at the most unfortunate timing - winter temps, holiday season, everyone was closed. I looked for days, no one knew how to replace our tank due to its uniqueness (the tank flowed hot water to the circulator fan to serve as a space heater to our home). I decided to reach out to my community and that's how I got referred to Aaron from Blake plumbing. They were very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the tank. To top that off, they have an upgraded tank in stock! They were able to squeeze me the next day (THANK YOU!!) due to the urgency of my issue - no hot water for days. Brian and Aaron arrived and did the prep work-removed the old plumbing and tank, briefed me about the whole system, and how the new hot tank operates. I'm very very fortunate that they were able to not only upgrade the tank, but also upgrade the plumbing around it. Now I'm enjoying hot water again. We had a clogged toilet in our upstairs bathroom. We tried the snake thing and plunger but neither worked. We called Blake Plumbing and spoke with Aaron to schedule the appointment. He was very responsive, and said Brian would be doing the repair. Brian showed up on time and fixed/unclogged our toilet. He took 1 hour to complete the job and the price was reasonable. We had a clogged shower drain. Tried using the baking soda and vinegar solution and then went and get a handheld drain auger with no success the previous evening. Called this morning to see if there were any openings in the next couple of days. I had a plumbing issue over the weekend because my kitchen sink wouldn't drain. I reached out to multiple companies through yelp, but I am glad I decided to also call this company when they opened on Monday morning. Even though they were very booked, they squeezed me in the same day. They showed up in the window they told me, snaked our drain, tested and made sure everything worked, and even talked to me about how to install an AAV and were out of here in a little over 30 minutes. Longer review: this firm was on our neighborhood's referral list and we decided to call them, as other homeowner's liked Blake Plumbing's work. From start to finish these guys were completely up front and honest and kept to the phone quoted price. Too many times I'd had a contractor give me a low bid only to have them add-on a bunch of costs when they started doing the work. We had a routine bathroom clog that was too deep to get with our home snake. This company was highly referred and they performed every bit as well as was described. Janelle was extremely efficient in finding out exactly what was going on. She promised Aaron would call within a day. Aaron called less than 24 hours later. Brian was out within 6 hours. He was prompt, courteous, attentive to be sure he had left us with a completely cleared drain that wasn't leaking anywhere in the basement pipes (we live in an older home and that could have been possible due to pipe age). Consistent five stars between service both at my work and at home. Just had them out again and it's all my spouse's fault. Spouse likes to do things like buy a cool new shower head at Costco and then just leave it in the box for four months. And then the dang shower p-trap was clogged again so spouse tried to use the magic coat-hanger they left us last time. Clearly there is technique to these things because spouse got the coat hanger STUCK. So after taking a shower with a sturdy bucket upside down over the metal sticking out of the drain (I don't want to win the Darwin Awards, thank you), I called Blake Plumbing again. Janelle was awesome as usual. Brian was our plumbing expert today and he was great. He had that wire out of there so fast...knew exactly what was going on and how to deal with it. Boop...just like that. Done. He gets bonus points for not laughing at us, although we wouldn't have minded. :-) The new shower head is awesome and is far more useful installed rather than sitting in the garage in a box. Brian also noticed there was some calking around the faucet missing so he took care of that too. At our request Brian also spent about 30 minutes with us investigating a non-functioning spigot in our horse pasture. Ultimately he didn't solve that little mystery (we didn't really expect him to) but we learned a ton just by talking to him and seeing his process. Total bill $191.63 including tax. Part of me was hoping Brian would say, "Nope, sorry. No way to get that coat hanger out. You'll have to remove the tub so you might as well remodel the bathroom" but alas, no such luck.
