Service center associates are beyond unfriendly and sometimes even disrespectful. If you are a foreign student then you will have horrible time here. They first talk with intimidating tone and words. if that does not work then back then but start to change words quickly. Make sure you take note while you talk to them or record what they are saying. read more

DO NOT recommend dealing with the service people here! Very concerned and uncomfortable about my recent visit to your service counter. When I returned to pick up my car, I was unexpectedly presented by Kelly with a maintenance charge of over $200. I requested verification, as I have a valid prepaid maintenance plan ($960 for 3 years/5 services). Despite my request, KB did not review the plan initially, got occupied here and there just to delay time, and brought the charge back again without clarification. Only after I insisted a third time and showed my electronic proof on my phone did they confirm I owed nothing. KB simply took the charging doc away from me, said to Kelly "Give her the Key", said nothing to me? And that's your attitude? Did I owe you anything? Excuse you??? This experience left me feeling that customer service and respect are not being prioritized. Throughout the interaction, there was a noticeable lack of courtesy or apology or explanation from the staff involved. KB even commented that someone was "putting strain on him," which I found highly unprofessional and ridiculous. My only suggestion is to step out from your position. For two years suffer with the "who cares" face for maintenance and now it's the end. read more

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because Jack Galloway is a very pleasant man to deal with. I went in to test drive a car in hopes that my loan would end up being cheaper than my current loan. When they brought out my loan paperwork my new loan was $8,000 more than my current loan. They kept telling me that this was because I was upside down on my loan which I was aware of but there were unnecessary charges like the $1000 Zurich shield and an almost $4,000 warranty tacked onto the loan. I said I wasn't comfortable buying the car at least 4 times and every time they would bring multiple people to the table to guilt trip and coerce me into buying this car. Near the end I was extremely overwhelmed and sobbing telling them I didn't want to buy the car. I would have just left but they already took my money for the down payment. I ended up signing the papers just because I wanted to get the hell out of there. Salesman told me it would cost them $4,500 to repair my current car but when I went back later the General Manager told me it would cost $900. If you end up coming here for a car and end up not wanting it, just walk out the door and don't say anything or they will make you feel like shit for not spending $40,000 on a $20,000 car read more

I was getting a standard oil change, and I was informed by the staff that I had an inspection due soon. They scheduled me for their next available appointment, which was only a few days away. Doug, on of the techs, sent me a link to a real time video as he went over my car and showed that everything was in working order. This is such a great feature that Blaise Alexander offers! It gives me peace of mind. read more

Unfortunately you must have the wrong customer. Nobody walked my wife to the car when she was there for service. I appreciate the information regarding hybrid performance it's a shame nobody could provide that information when I emailed you after the appointment. read more

I sent my husband here today to get his car appraised. They told him that it was worth $2k. Which is absolute bullshit due to the fact that used cars are going for a lot more than what they usually go for and because his car has less than 90k miles on it and is in good condition. They low balled me back in January on my own trade in as well. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GO IF YOUR TRYING TO GET YOUR BANG FOR YOUR TRADE. Side note Kevin is a great guy to work with though he's very nice and patient. read more

The Mazda I bought last year as a CPO is great! Doug is service is always very helpful with our questions.

This is by far the worst place I have ever worked. All of the salesmen for the most part want to quit, even if they say otherwise. Everyone who left while I was there left because of the GM and Sales Manager, and they both are so delusional that any evidence presented to them is immediately blown off. They are horrendous at dealing with people, and are single handily burning that place into the ground. It is the most toxic professional environment I have ever experienced. Profoundly negative and I wish I could take it back. There is zero coaching, zero listening to anything you have to say, and any encouragement to do well is ultimately shot down. I have never experienced an environment where the overwhelming vibe is defeat. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about the service department at Blaise Alexander. They are great to work with and very accommodating. They provided a nice loaner car when I had service done on my vehicle that lasted several days. They take time to answer your questions and make sure you're satisfied when you leave. I cannot recommend the sales department. There is a huge turnover rate, so the chances of getting the same salesperson when you're ready to buy your next car are very slim. When I purchased my second new car there, the salesperson did NOT tell me a compact spare tire wasn't included. I absolutely would have purchased one at that time. I had to learn this fact the hard way when my tire blew and there was nothing but fix-a-flat and a pump in the cargo area. This doesn't help when a 1" chunk of your tire is missing, so I was stuck on the side of the road for quite a while until I could find someone to pick me up and it caused a lot of logistical problems getting a tire mounted and taken out to put on the car. I called the dealership and left a message for the sales manager stating that I was upset about this and would like a return call. Nothing. I filled out the online form with the same info and asking to be contacted. Nothing. Despite the great service department, I will not be purchasing another vehicle from Blaise Alexander. If they don't care about their customers, I don't want to shop there. read more

I purchased my car here about 3 years ago. Cory was my salesman and he was great. However, the other people (finance/service/etc) were not friendly. I took it to service one time a few months after buying it. They made it seems like a bother and just a simple oil change took over 2 hours. Since then, I have been taking my car to Stoltz in Dubois and they are amazing! read more

I have had two really weird/bad experiences here. I went back the second time because Doug was very nice and took care of me BUT: 1. The first visit I dropped my car off and when I came back to pick it up me and my friend that was driving me to get it, pulled up to a stoplight and MY CAR was in front of us at this light... "They must be test driving it" I thought.. until we pulled into the dealership behind it and saw FOUR guys get out of the car...When I asked what was going on the guy driving said they TOOK THE CAR TO LUNCH!!!! Said they were killing two birds with one stone by test driving my car to lunch with four guys... needless to say 20 miles of gas were used up from when I dropped it off. 2. The second time I dropped it off I went to pick it back up and when the girl pulled the car around there was a 5 inch chunk out of the passenger's side! I told her about it and she sent out a guy who I guess was the head of body work there? He immediately denied it and said that damage was already there. I told him it wasn't there this morning when I dropped it off... It was 3 feet from the part of the car I was having them look at and give me an estimate on... If that was there then I would have had them give me an estimate on that too...After being a complete jerk he just said "I don't know what to tell you" and shrugged. I showed him the "HYUNDAI ASSURANCE CAR CARE- Multi-Point Inspection Report" that they fill out when the car arrives and in the section that says "Reception Inspection and Walk- Around" there is ZERO notes about any damage on the car.. there is even a picture of a car in this section for them to point out where any damage was when they received it... there's nothing. So basically I have picked up my car with it needing more work than it did when I dropped it off. Besides that the quote they gave me to fix the other part of the car quoted $20 for the parts and $192.40 for labor... I would stay away. There are plenty of other places. read more

I've been buying and servicing Hyundai's here for about 8 years. I've never had a significant issue with the work done and I have always been happy with the purchase process. This has been a great dealership for my family. read more

Really enjoyed how fast my service was completed and the complimentary car wash. The workers are knowledgeable and kind as well.

terrible service, they are feckless and clueless, They are happy to sell you a car but after that your on your own. They don't understand what they sell, My 2015 sonata has rattles and the Sirius radio has not worked since day one. They adjusted my headlights so badly I could not drive the car at night. How is this customer service? I have owned over 20 new cars and never have I seen anything as bad as the service here. They don't even call you back, find a different dealer,,,,,,this was a huge mistake,,,,,,,, read more

They are friendly but inexperienced and clueless. Your car could be in far better hands.

Staff is friendly enough, but actual repair service is poor. We have had our car in there at least five times over the past 2 years to fix the hearing/cooling system. The first time they put in a new compressor and said that fixed the problem, except that they broke the console knob to that turns it on and didn't bother to check the freon levels. They then "fixed" both of those issues except that the freon continues to leak and they have had to fix the console at least twice under warranty. Now the compressor no longer works suggesting that perhaps the compressor wasn't the problem at all but an electrical issue. I don't trust them to correctly diagnose the problem; and even if they did I doubt the quality of their repair. I will never give them another dime. If your in the market for a car your better off elsewhere (particularly Dix Honda). read more

I bought a used truck off of them that seemed like it was in immaculate condition. Within six months the headliner became detached, which they did fix, but within 1 year the truck was showing a lot of rust. The rear bumper, which was perfect when I bought it, had a hole in it that I could see through. I began to discover signs that made me believe the truck was doctored to look like a gem but under the veneer was sever problems. I will never do business with them again! read more

I've lived in State College for 15 years and I've been a service customer here for the last several. The service manager Rachelle is very sweet and always treats me very well. The last time I was in, needed help with a replacement key for my Elantra. They had a new one for me within days. I would recommend this service department to anyone and not just for Hyundai. read more
