Now I may be biased, as I have known Kevin for about 30 years. We are not close friends but we do know each other through multiple mutual friends as I am part of the original "Hoopers/Fuddruckers" Fort Lauderdale gang. LOL. My friend Bob Sanchez introduced me to Kevin when his shop was tiny and located next to a pizza shop just off 95 in Miami, where I ate many a slice while waiting for upgrades, tuning, or regular service. In 1998 I bought a brand new ZX 9R and took it straight to Kevin for upgrades and performance mods. He got on the phone with none other than Rob Muzzy to ask about an exhaust from Muzzy. They were not available yet, due to R&D and Muzzy himself told Kevin to install a Hindle as it was putting out more power than what Muzzy had at the time. It's these type of interactions that show you the knowledge, friendships, and sharing of technical know how that have made Kevin Blais and his crew the best around. I have sent friends of mine, the latest being a ZX12 owner, that had a turbo installed elsewhere, but had to see Kevin and his crew to get it straightened out. My buddy Rob Radloff has never gone anywhere else since. Kevin, I haven't seen you in a while, and I miss you my friend. But your knowledge, friendship, and your teams performance lives on. I will get by there soon I promise. read more
