Things didn't get off to a good start as I was initially told I could just drop in, then when I dropped in the front counter lady told me I had to make an appointment. So, I made an appointment for the next week. After that it got much better. The windshield looks fantastic, it's nice to drive without looking at cracks in my windshield which I've had since I bought it 10 years ago. They had a couple of cancellations so they had the job done in just over an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. Their waiting area has free coffee and water and they pull your car back around to the front for you if there's a parking space free so chances are you won't have to walk to the back unless they're super busy. Will definitely come back if I need windshield services again.

they didn't value my time at all,…read more my appointment was scheduled for 1:00 pm and I arrived with the expectation of it taking about an hour or two at the most. well when I arrived, they toils me it would be two hours possibly 2 1/2 hours. so since t location is isolated in the middle of the industrial complex I was forced to compete with traffic even to cross the street. after 2 1/2 hours I returned and there was my truck in the parking lot. Not moved even an inch. so here I sit 3 hours later with the promise "we're bringing it in next". this is my second windshield here and I had the exact same experience last visit. When it comes to these drive in Oil change businesses, you have to be careful and know what exactly…read moreneeds changing or else you could end being taken for more money that it's worth. Lube City did just what I asked.. an oil change. No checking the transmission fluid and push to have it flushed ( as some companies do and push to change it when it is not necessary ). In other words.. do not upsell me on something that will not be needed . The service was very quick and the staff were great. Actually the guy I was talking to had a wicked sense of humor.. which is what I really like. He must have worked at another place, because every time he did something like check the tires, wipe the windshield, he kept saying " and that's another $5.. " . I sat in the car laughing while he kept doing his tasks. " You know it will cost you $10 for us to lower your hood ". I loved his sense of humor. Overall, I paid a bit over $100 for the service and will be definitely coming back to get the oil changes done. Finally, a place that wont gouge you for every dollar you got.

It was winter, so I agreed. They indicated they would need the truck for a minimum of two hours. I took a cab home and as it dropped me off , they called indicating it was done. 15 minutes. So I called another cab and returned to the shop. Cabs cost me $50 and I would have waited at the shop if they had been accurate with their estimate. Irritating and costly. Three years later today, I hear wind noise in the cab and discover the window latch has failed and my window is flapping free. I never opened the window. So I call there, they tell me to bring it over, which I do. There response is: this is not covered by warranty. Avoid the North Edmonton Crystal Glass unless you enjoy bad customer service.
