We had 10 people in our group with every age from young kids to seniors, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there. Laura started by telling us about all the different animals on the farm, from the large draft horses, to the ponies, cows, goats, sheep, bunnies, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and ducks. The kids got to gather the chicken eggs, pet most of the animals including a week old calf and week old bunnies. Then they learned about feeding the goats and got to go into the goat pen to pet them up close and personal. After that, they each got to ride a pony around the goat pen a couple times, they loved it! We finished up with a ride out to the pumpkin patch where we each got to choose a pumpkin to take home. There was a store for us to purchase additional pumpkins, cider, jams, decorations, etc. as well. It was so much fun for the kids and adults and I would love to go back. They also offer similar services in the winter, with fresh cut, or cut your own trees, along with horse drawn carriage rides, and Santa sightings! There is a venue for weddings as well. All of which looked delicious and later on were definitely delicious. The donuts are the main star of the show for me here. Something about an apple cider donut just screams Fall for me and they're so good, I feel like I could eat a dozen by myself. Upon entering the property, there is a large public area adjacent to the free parking lot. This area is like a Farmer's Market on steroids. You'll find many novelty shops displaying huge varieties of delightful harvest craft items and fall decor, packaged food items, baked goods, souvenirs and cider. The hungry visitor can indulge in chicken BBQ dinners as well as burger and hot dog combos. It was great to see a Pulled Pork sandwich combo among the menu items at the concession stand. There is also a beer wine and hard cider pavilion for adults. The big draw for us, and the sole reason for visiting today was to treat the grandchildren to fun activities in an agricultural setting. We bought all day "Barnyard Blast" passes on my phone, on advice from the ticket cashier which allowed us to save a couple of bucks over the walk up price. The "Barnyard Blast" pass gave us access to over 35 fun family activities, including Pumpkin' Jumpin' Pillow, Fun Zone (including brand NEW obstacle course), Cow Train, Corn Maze, Hayride, Happy Horse Carousel, Pumpkinville Express Train. Try as we might, in over 5 hours we actually could not try every ride or attraction. Our little guys spent a solid hour happily bouncing away at the Pumpkin Jumping Pillow attraction. Then it was time to hit the giant slide a million times before tackling the obstacle course (Navy Seal level!) Ah yes, for about $22 a pie or so (they're large) you can order pies for your Thanksgiving and they'll notify you when to pick them up. There's always a long line for pick up so get there early! They have mixed berry and coconut creme pie which are my personal favorite but they also have cherry, raspberry, blueberry, apple, rhubarb, and you can find peach in the summer. There are a couple other flavors, I forget but they also have zucchini bread, carrot cake, pastries, cookies and muffins. Yes, they're delicious. Another reason I come to Bippert's is because I eat a lot of eggs and they carry organic local farm fresh eggs 3 dozen for $16. Yes, I will buy their eggs versus going to the grocery store because there are more recalls on eggs than I care to discuss right now. Buy from your local farmer before the store people! Bippert's carries some fresh produce (whatever is seasonal) and frozen meat. I saw today that they had seedless watermelon and I got sad. I wanted to ask them where they get their watermelon but I forgot. I expected a farm to have seeded but I guess not. What is this world coming to if you can't even get a seeded watermelon at the farm. Anyway, visit them when you can, they're open year-round!

I have driven by year after year and thought I really need to check it out . One year (maybe more ? )they were not there for the season and I was saddened , so when I saw them open , I made a point to get there . Upon entering you will see many blow up bounce houses. Sadly, the big tiger you can see from the road is "retired" but , man he is cool ! There is also a little track for kids to be able to drive kid cars around . I would say this is great for probably the 4-5 year olds , but flexible. There are many tables set up for "pumpkin tic tac toe" . I thought it was an adorable idea. There are food huts/vendors set up with the typical carnival offerings of kettle corn, cotton candy , soft pretzels etc. What I found fun , is that there is a whole second area that you have to walk a short way through a corn maze to get to . I had no idea it existed ! Here is where you will find some more great bounce attractions and game areas , blow up slides and even a kids zipline attraction . So much fun. My 2 1/2 yr old grandson had such a great time . I recommend this for the little ones , especially 2-6ish years old . You will have a great time watching them have a great time . Lastly , we paid I believe $12 for an armband(did not have to pay for adult bands) which allowed for all day access to all of the bounce houses, we also were able to get a mini pumpkin included in that price . It was well worth the price ! I believe you can purchase individual tickets , but much more cost effective to get the all day bracelet. Pack up your kids, or your grandkids , or even your friends kids , and go ! :)
