Chevron was conveniently located in Ogden as we needed to fill our tank. THE SETUP This Chevron comes with a full mini-mart and large unisex single-individual bathrooms. And what has been typical of all Chevrons I've encountered, they always give me free ice for my sportcup. GAS At this point in our trip, this was the spot with the cheapest gas we've seen since leaving (and including) Glendale - only $3.35 / Gallon here in Ogden. Compare that to the gas in Glendale which was $4.49 a gallon. The worst so far has been Barstow at $4.69. THE LOWDOWN A great station stop in Ogden.

As we were entering the store a guy standing by the entrance asked if we were truck drivers and then asked if we had any free showers on our rewards card and if he could have one. Entering the store, I noticed that it is a much smaller Flying J than what I'm used to. It did have the usual snacks, soup, hotbox, deli, drinks..it also had vehicle merch., shirts, crystal ornaments, caps and other such items. So you could shop a little. There was a messy discount bin in one of the main aisles and the drivers lounge is filled with boxes of merchandise. We ate at the Denny's inside this establishment and got a drink to go at the Flying J. The cashier waved us over to her register then completely ignored us when we was talking to her. My husband asked for a receipt and she was already waving over another customer. Ring em' up and move em' out kind of thing here. I didn't appreciate that at all.
