This week I filled my cup about one-third full of ice, drove home (only five minutes with my car's A/C on), and by the time I got there the ice had already melted and my Dr Pepper was still room temperature. That shouldn't happen. This used to be my favorite place, and I've been a loyal customer for years. I'm disappointed because this has become a recurring problem. I have avoided this location because the exterior appearance looks a bit run down. I had expected a typical gas station convenience store feel but the store was well organized and fairly clean. It had a similar feel to the newer Maverick locations. Located on Main Street in Layton, it is easiest to access as you are heading south, though there is a turn lane if trying to access from the North. The parking lot is small but when I went, there wasn't any issues finding a spot to park. The employee helping me was extremely friendly and welcoming. I may need to start coming to this location more often.
