During my tour they told me that it was to prevent them from being picked up by a large bird. (What) They had several dogs with a large cardboard in front of the crate because they were barking too much. I had asked for a bath before bringing him home and they told me they do not give baths, first kennel I have ever been to that doesn't have a bathing option. They do allow the dogs out to play and depending on their size is which yard they go in. The report card I got when I picked him up was trash. They decided to rate my dog. Who do you think you are. My dog ended up coming home with a skin bacteria that I had to deal with from their unsanitary kennels and play areas. NEVER EVER WILL I BRING MY BABY HERE AGAIN!

Situated on acreage of well kept grass areas & large covered play areas that allow the dogs to be supervised outside or to relax free with their friends in an air conditioned home. My sweet little girl loves to go to her Home Away from Home for play days several times a week. I love that I can rest assured that I have left her with a watchful & loving staff that allows her to run free to play with her doggie friends. She always comes home at the end of the day, Happy, but worn out from playing with her size appropriate friends.

The experience was night and day - Rene and her staff went above and beyond to make our fur baby comfortable and our minds at ease. On the day of pickup, our pet was excited as usual, but there was something different this time. Her anxiety was pretty high. Our pet's belongings (blankets and bed) are in the wash (hot temp) as I type this because they smelled horrible. Our pet didn't smell that great either. She has been itching excessively as though she was exposed to fleas. I gave her an extra dose of her preventative flea med just in case. Needless to say, I won't be taking our fur-baby back.

My daughter and I recently left our beloved dogs at Holiday Kennels for about a week…read more My dog Boomer is a 2 1/2 year old rat terrier and my daughter's chiquaqua, Rocco, is 13 years old. We had them in a shared room with an indoor/outdoor set up. Boomer loved being outside and was happy to "talk" with the other dogs in the other kennels-Rocco not so much. Lori noticed he seemed uncomfortable and unhappy and cared enough to move Rocco into his own room inside where he became very happy. She also took the time to prpepare their dog food the way they like it. Both dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. The place is nothing fancy, but the cost is reasonable. It's a great, caring place and the indoor/outdoor kennels are great for dogs who like the freedom to go outside whenever they want to. We will leave our dogs in Lori's care again the next time we go out of town.

The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. Zelda, our German shepherd/husky mix, boarded with Brian for nearly two weeks while we were on…read morevacation. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.
