Not reliable. 2 times consecutively, he pulled a no show/no call. I thought it was weird he said…read morehe would come on Saturday. Then, when he was 2 hrs late with no call, I called him and he said his kid had soccer.
I thought I'd give him another chance thinking he just didn't want to say no when he said he would come on Saturday. He knew we really needed him bc my kiln was not firing and I needed service before the kiln tech could come. And so I thought he didn't want to say no.
So we agreed to him coming Monday at 9 am. At 9:45, my husband called and he said (get this) he was late because he inhaled suds while in the shower. He said he was on his way. At 10:30, still no show, we texted him and told him to forget it. He never replied. During this, he wasn't answering his phone and his voicemail was full, too.
And these were not even the first time something like this happened. Once before, a couple years ago, he came to give an estimate and during the estimate he fixed a small problem and said he would send us his estimate for the whole job. Then he couldnt come back to do the job bc he hurt his foot. Even though we now had to find someone else to do the entire job, we sent him a check anyway for the small repair he did during the estimate because we felt bad he had been in the hospital. He seemed like a good guy back then. But now I think maybe that was not true either.
Anyway, I would not recommend.
I don't like leaving bad reviews. But someone else one time posted a review about a company I was just about to sign a contract with. That person saved me from making a huge mistake. So now, when something is really bad, I do a review.
