I live in Gladewater now. Back in November, I called Alco to repair a pluming leak in my house…read more They had done some AC work for us a few years ago and everything was done satisfactorily. The man who came to fix the leak didn't know how to find the leak. He made 7 holes in my walls. I paid him 2400.00 to fix the leak . He informed me at the end that Alco doesn't fix holes . I would have to get a sheetrock man. Then he said he could fix it but it would cost 350. He came when he got off work each day and made a huge mess. This went on for about a week. I finally found someone else who would come back and fix it for me. He did a beautiful job, but that cost another 900.00. Not to mention the job turned out to NOT be a 2400.00 job like they estimated. I would have much rather paid by the hour. Live and learn.

I recently used Richard Holt Plumbing for a large, unexpected job to reroute and replace the whole…read moredrain line to our kitchen. I contacted several local plumbing companies to quote the project, knowing it was going to be expensive. I received quotes from folks with different ideas ranging from around $5k for replacement to over $35k to excavate under the house and replace the old one. Richard was on the lower end of that range and I could tell he'd been in business for a long time and knew what he was talking about, so that's who I went with. I couldn't be happier given the circumstances. They rigged it up where it would work the next day until they could complete the project. They did a fantastic job. From the trenching to the plumbing and even the landscaping afterwards turned out better than I expected. These are good folks doing good work at a fair price. That's who I'll be calling from now on and I definitely recommend them.

I am a small business owner here in Tyler, and I can assure you I am extremely picky and careful…read moreabout who I use and recommend for my personal and business contract services. Stonebridge Heating and Air has FAR surpassed my expectations time and time again. Our partnership purchased our current automotive repair location ( Stewart's Donnybrook Automotive ) in October of 2005, and we found right away that several of the heaters did not work. I had hired several other local heating and air conditioning companies to come look at the units to try and get them up and running.....and every one of them said I needed new units. I had not heard of Stonebridge Heating and Air at that time. We made the decision to just do without those heaters based on the prices that those other companies gave me to replace the units. One day on my way in to work I heard one of the Stonebridge commercials on KTBB radio station and decided to give them a call. They sent a really nice young man out who after about 30 minutes said that I needed to have the gas blocks rebuilt. That was it. Rebuild the gas blocks. He quickly made the necessary repairs and lit the burners and we had instant heat......and a lot of it. Stonebridge charged me less than $200 to fix two heaters......the same two heaters that the other companies told me had to be replaced. Stonebridge Heating and Air just recently installed an additional heating unit in a different location in my shop and I could not be happier with the service and the workmanship they have provided every time they have been in my shop. Even the city inspector commented that "they always do such clean work." Trust me......if you need honest, fast, quality AC or Heating work call Stonebridge. You will be glad you did.
