Often times there are six figure Porsches parked here so one can trust these guys know what they are doing. After moving back to the area, my BMW had been shifting poorly following a transmission oil flush I had performed in CA. I suspected it was under filled and decided to give this shop a call. Greg was kind enough to fit me into his busy schedule to take a look at my transmission a day later and confirmed that my oil was about 1L under filled. He topped it off and test drove to confirm no damage had been sustained and my car drives wonderfully again. Was charged for oil and a very reasonable hour of labor. Was able to get reimbursed by the prior shop for the charges too since they made a mistake.

When she brought her vehicle in, it was handled by her insurance company - what she didn't know was this shop does NOT take credit cards. I brought my vehicle in for an estimate & was pleasantly greeted by shop owner. I was provided with a detailed, same-day estimate via email. I set up an appointment & dropped the vehicle off after hours; I used envelopes provided and dropped the key thought the handy-dandy slot on one of the building's doors. The work was completed promptly. The communication was great. The work was done well. Owner and employees encountered were polite, professional, friendly. Experience from start to finish was pain-free. The ONLY reason for not giving Flower Hill 5 stars is they do not accept credit cards. That's right, if there's no insurance involved you're writing a check or paying cash. When you're paying out-of-pocket for damages... sticking it to a person's bank account really rubs salt in the wound.

If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience with this body shop was nothing short of a…read morenightmare. The owner, Bern, flat-out refused to provide even an initial estimate unless they completely tore down my leased Jeep. I made it clear I did not authorize a teardown, but he insisted it was "the only way" -- which is simply not true. Against my wishes, they disassembled my vehicle and left me with no choice but to keep it there. This "policy" felt like a deliberate trap to pad labor charges and lock me in. Because of their actions, my Jeep spiraled into a forced total loss situation with insurance, costing me enormous time, stress, and financial fallout. Even my GEICO adjuster was embarrassed for me and horrified when they saw what had been done. After the fact, they admitted this shop has a history of pulling the same stunt with other customers -- but because of legal restrictions on "steering," they couldn't warn me or recommend a different body shop up front. That says it all: the insurance company knows this place is a problem but can't say it outright. On top of that, communication was evasive and unprofessional. Bern gave me the run-around at every step, never owning up to the fact that I never authorized what they did. He showed zero concern for the fact this was a leased vehicle, where OEM parts and proper handling are non-negotiable. This shop operates on shady tactics, not customer service. They prey on people who don't know the process, then hide behind excuses once the damage is done. If you value your car, your money, or your sanity, avoid this place at all costs. There are reputable Hyundai-certified and OEM-recognized shops in NJ that don't rely on manipulation to get business.
