Black Sheep Coffee is a cool coffee and cocktail bar, it is located on Piccadilly approach next to Caffe Nero and just a stone's throw away from Manchester Piccadilly. Black Sheep has been growing rapidly in Manchester and London and I was excited to try them out for the first time before my train journey to Leicester (via Sheffield).
Known for espresso martinis and Bailey's lattes, they're one of the few coffee shops in town mixing coffee and booze.
It is pretty small inside, but there is still some seating and the decor is pretty cool. They are cashless which I'm fine with as I prefer paying via card anyway.
I ordered a large iced vanilla latte, this came to £2.75 + the flavouring syrup which strangely wasn't listed alongside the other extras on the menu. It was pretty small for a 'large' around 3/4 of the size I'd get at Starbucks or so.
The coffee quality was average/OK, worth the price as it was good value especially in a travel location (Starbucks inside the station is VERY expensive)
A cool store which looks good, serving average coffee and even booze. It's a shame the whole menu wasn't in stock including Cold Brew due to an equipment fault. 3* read more
