BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATION!
Mrs Anne Marie W.

Reviewing the Valentine' s Cheese Box for Two I found this online and thought it would be a hit at my Galentine's Day gathering. I ordered online, followed up with a phone call to make sure I didn't accidently select the wrong pick up date and they were friendly and confirmed my order. I got an email reminder and my order was ready as promised. What a beautiful presentation and the cheese! AND THE SALAMI ROSE?! From their site - Featured Cheeses: Bankston, Bloomy Rind Brie Style, Ohio Shenanigans, Cave Aged Tomme, Ohio Alp Blossom, Edible Flower Rind Alpine Style, Germany. The Flower Rind was by far the best, but also the accompanying honey, crackers and fruits (pear, grapes, raspberries) made this extra special. NOT A BAD ITEM IN THE BEAUTIFUL BOX. This was the hit of the gathering. I will be back, they have attentive and friendly staff that are knowledgeable about pairings, and this box was fantastic.

They have quite a variety and the cheese prices are very competitive. I bought some goat brie and raclette which we're looking forward to trying. The price on the raclette alone was worth the trip. They will serve you raclette made on the premises but we will try ours at home. The service was attentive and prompt. Looking forward to trying our loot and I'm sure we'll return for more.

Replacing the previous North Market cheese shop, Black Radish Creamery ensures that you have a convenient option for delicious cheese when shopping at the market. The well-organized case makes it easy to examine the cheese selection, and the helpful staff is there to guide you to just the right cheese. They feature a variety of other items that you might be looking for, should you be putting together a cheese plate. Things like local sausage from North Country Charcuterie. After all, no cheese plate is complete without some salami. Finally, although it might not be immediately obvious, Black Radish also has a food menu which, fittingly, includes several grilled cheese options. I've yet to try them, but the descriptions on the menu sound delicious!

Large cheese wheel cracked open. What a cool process.

A lovely cheese selection located within the north market. What caught my eye on a certain day was a cheese cracking presentation the creamery was having. A crowd gathered and we all watched as they showed the process of "cracking" open an $1,100 parmesan cheese wheel. So cool.

Raclette warming up

Stopped in the North Market today for a totally different reason and spotted the sign advertising raclette. I'd heard about it from a friend but never tried it. I'm so glad I did! It took a little while to warm up and I had to wait for bread, but it was soooo worth it! They offer it over focaccia bread from Omega (I happened to get there just as some was coming out of the oven!) for $8.50 or $4.50 to scrape it over anything else purchased at the North Market (it would be incredible over kettle chips from Barrel & Boar!). Their other offerings looked great too, I was just so excited for the raclette I didn't try anything else.

This was a highly anticipated visit! First off I really like the location and vibe of Marlow's…read more They have a bar area (I love eating at the bar) and 90's R&B playing at a respectful volume. Points!! I stopped at 2pm on a Wednesday and there were only a few customers and myself there. I order The Classic wit Wiz, fries and a Truth IPA. My food came out quickly in a to go bag. I was eating in but no biggie. The positives: the chopped steak, Wiz and onion combo is South St Philly worthy for real. The fries were a unique shape and were delicious. The music!! I heard Guy- I like, The System- Don't disturb this Groove, Christopher Williams-Don't wake Me... I was transported back to my days growing up in Pittsburgh. My only negative: That bun! Dry as Camel heels. To be fair, I ate it as soon as it came out and when I unwrapped it, a lot of the filling spilled out. If I had got it to go, the bun would've absorbed some of the cheese, steak and onion goodness and I'm sure it would've been juicier after 10 min. I'll take it to go next time. So all in all, I think I prefer Marlow's over the other Cheese steak giant in Columbus (as far as the authentic Philly cheesesteak). The other is great as a gourmet version of a classic. It all depends on what you are in the mood for. Great job Marlow's bringing Philly to CBus!!

My bad I guess. Only comment, they do not use a classic dark seeded bun. Wario's does. Is this a bar with cheesesteak or a cheesesteak with a bar? Plenty of tables and parking.
